After going to the Verizon at Tanger and them being out of iPhone 13 minis, I was going to lunch in West Ashley and stopped at the Verizon corporate store. There was a ton of people sitting around and a guy told me they were all waiting and the wait was over an hour. Not for me Jack! I turned around and walked right out. After a few hours passed I remembered there was this Verizon location right up D Road. Duh Rebecca!!!! I walked in and there were three employees and one customer. Perfect ratio! I can't remember his name, let's say Kyle. Kyle was very knowledgeable and able to go right to the back and get me an iPhone 13 mini, case and screen protector. He had forgotten to do the reimbursement for sending my perfectly good iPhone 8 to be refurbished, so I told him not to bother I'd just keep it. I had been there for an hour already and there was NCAA basketball games being missed. PRO TIP - before leaving the store with a new phone make sure you can make and receive text and make and receive phone calls. I asked him to call my phone and nothing happened. He then said it was bc of the 5G SIM card in the new phone and took my SIM card out of my phone I came in with to get the new one to work. Weird. But I was then glad my phone wasn't being shipped off to TX without being able to make and receive calls on my new phone!! I stopped in to ask about options for international data, etc. plans for an upcoming trip. I never realized this location existed, but noticed it while sitting in traffic & decided to stop in. The gentleman that helped me was very relaxed and casual. He helped me change the code on our account because we can never remember it and he gave me the number of Global Services that I would need to speak with to get the best information for my trip. He didn't pressure me into changing my plan or buying a new phone, etc. which I really appreciated. The store itself is a decent size and there appeared to be plenty of phone accessories, etc. available for purchase. They even had a small picnic table with baskets of toys for kids, which I thought was really nice. Overall, a good experience and I would return to this location for any of my Verizon-related needs. read more

Extremely rude! Didn't even acknowledge me when I walked in! One guy looked at me and looked back down at his phone and the other girl had headphones in and just stared at me. I had to actually speak in order for them to help me make a simple payment! DO NOT GO HERE! The one in West Ashley is way better! read more

I would like to let the corporate office of Cellular Sales know that the customer service in this store is less than subpar. My husband and I visited this location this evening at about 835pm EST to simply browse around. We are both eligible to upgrade at this time but before deciding on what phones we would like to purchase, we decided to look around. Our first choice was the Verizon Wireless store but the store closed at 9pm. We walked into the store, there were 2 gentleman working. One associate was at the front counter, facing the entrance. He seemed to be finishing up a transaction with a family, looks up from the computer, sees my husband and I walk into the store and doesn't say one word. He looks back down at the computer and continues with the family. The other associate was holding a telephone to his ear and also does not acknowledge us. We looked around for about 10 mins, neither associate said one word to us the entire time. Nothing. "Im sorry folks, I'm with someone but I'll be with you as soon as I can..." Basic common courtesy never took over. Finally, my husband and I were walking toward the door to leave and the associate that seemed to be on the telephone says, "Can I help you folks with something?" I respond, "thank you for asking as we're walking out the door." He responds, "...well I'm on the phone...". No apology for not greeting us at the door, didn't bother to get up from his chair to offer to show us anything, etc. More over, he was not speaking to anyone on the telephone the entire time that we were in the store. Maybe he was on hold, no idea. Very quiet phone call. He decided to be combative. The other associate never stepped in to offer assistance either. This was the very worst customer service experience we have had in a very long time and it was extremely disheartening. We are both former employees of Verizon Wireless, not an authorized agent. We will not be a patron of this location for any reason. read more

I'll never set foot in a Verizon store again as long as this store stays open. Jeff asked me questions to understand how I use my phone and did not suggest an upgrade until after I was sure he was going to match my needs with the phone best suited to how I use it.
