The service we received was polite, prompt, and helpful. However, I will never return to this location. They have plug in air fresheners in almost EVERY outlet, I counted at least 6 around the perimeter of the small store. The smell is overpowering, and by the time I left, I was having a full blown asthma attack and fighting a migraine. This store is literally toxic. read more

SCAMMERS. We went in to see if it would be more affordable to bundle my husbands phone with our internet, and it was! There was a great promotion going on that we were able to take advantage of, installation went great, technician that installed fios was awesome, and they told us that they would take care of the closing fees for terminating our service with our previous carrier. What they DIDN'T tell us was ANYTHING about how that process works. So, six weeks later we got hit with a LARGE bill from our previous carrier, leaving us with almost nothing leftover for Christmas shopping. We then called customer service and this carrier store, they both gave us different answers on what went wrong. Ultimately we applied for a refund for the bill online and they gave us a deadline of 12/14 for it to be verified. It is now 12/18, and after several phone calls trying to get through to customer service, several callbacks from the representative, and about 3 hours of our day- we've been told it will take another SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS to get our money back. If we were told how the process works in the first place, this would not have happened. The carrier store either would've handled it correctly and covered the bill the first time, or they would've told us about the wait and we wouldn't have started service with them at all. Absolutely ludicrous in terms of transparency and customer satisfaction. We are absolutely infuriated. read more

After the last apple update my phone just wasn't performing to my standards, after visiting Shanell at the north Smithfield location I was able to leave with a brand new phone and no trouble, she was able to assist me with all my worries and update and transfer my phone without any issues. Shanell and her team are amazing and I will be back to visit her any time I experience any other problems! read more

Service here is terrible slow and they can't do anything thing without being told by corporate.

We went to this Verizon store the Saturday before Christmas this year. I have had a cell phone since 1993 so have had my fair share of good and bad experiences with upgrades on my phone. I have to say that this was by far the best experience we have had upgrading our phones. When we walked in, we were helped right away by Christopher R. We had a few questions as they were having a promotion and he answered them without any confusion. We knew what we were looking for, he told us what was in stock and from there we were out of the store, new phones activated and in hand with cases and screen protectors in about 30 minutes. The transaction was seamless and we couldn't be happier with our new phones. Christopher was a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. read more

I recently took a Verizon survey and didn't give this store a very positive survey. I was there on Saturday the 19th of October to buy a new phone. There were three young men working but I noticed that my sale person kept helping others while getting my phone purchase. I was frustrated. I should have said something right away but I didn't. The next day I got an email showing me that my bill was going to be over 200 dollars so rather than write a bad review I drove there and my sales person and the store manager took a lot of time with me to go over my plan and to assist me with several things on my phone. I want to take back my negative survey but sadly the manger that was there stated that once its recorded there was nothing I do to take it back. I am a customer service rep so I let them know that I was displeased with them taking other customers while I was waiting. I was told that was corporate policy so I just gave them my opinion and feedback. I truly liked the manager and my salesman and would go back there if needed. I do agree that lines can be quite long especially on a weekend but perhaps people can keep that in mind and be a little more patient unlike me that day. So please know that it is a great place to buy with top notch service. I am truly a happy customer. read more

The website states they are open to 8 as do the signs on the door. I arrived at 7:11 to to the lights to the store dimmed and the doors locked. The employee who was working ran to the back when he saw me and waited until I left. Three other customers arrived after me to do the same. I called Verizon and they did not know why the store was closed and tried to call. The employee would not answer the phone. read more

I have been in this store for an hour while the one person on staff takes forever to ring up a cell phone upgrade and then slowly apply a screen protector to said phone. There are multiple people in line behind us and at least 4 people have come in and then walked out before ever receiving help. The customer service here is deplorable. There is no excuse to have a store open with only one person to help in a customer service driven field. I can tell you they have lost quite a few sales today. If I wasn't attempting to return something I would have left and taken my business elsewhere. No apology was issued in regards to the wait and the associate has made no effort to hurry when noticing the growing displeasure of the multiple people in the store. read more
