I visited the Verizon store at 18251 N Pima Rd Ste F130, Scottsdale, AZ 85255 to upgrade my existing phone line using a Verizon offer that was described to me as a device payoff with a free upgrade. The sales associate Sam represented this as a standard upgrade on my current line. After the order was submitted, I was then told that the phone had actually been placed on a new line and that the line would be canceled later. I did not approve any new lines. Sam stated this was done so the device could be shipped and kept as store stock in case of an issue. This was never disclosed upfront and is not what I agreed to. When I checked my account at home, I discovered multiple new orders and new lines that I never authorized. I repeatedly asked Sam to process this as an upgrade on my existing line and was ignored. I was also later told about in store service fees and charges that were never clearly explained before the transaction. Opening new lines and devices on a customer account without consent and claiming they will be canceled later is not acceptable. This exposes customers to billing, credit, and fraud risk and is a clear abuse of account access. I escalated this directly with Verizon fraud and legal to address the unauthorized activity. This was not a misunderstanding. It was misleading at best and fraudulent at worst. I strongly recommend customers carefully review their account activity if they do business at this location. read more

My wife and I met with a Verizon salesperson on 11/18/24. We were looking to replace our old Apple phones. After spending over 5 hours we were told what to purchase and how to set things up. The information and instructions we were given were less than accurate. I believe what Verizon charges for accessories is excessive. We came back to the store on 11/24/24 and met with another salesperson. We returned items and again were given less than accurate information about an Apple watch. The salesperson made a mistake on the bill and I had to call Verizon to get the bill going forward corrected. I am very disappointed with the customer service that I experienced in the store. The salespeople we worked with either were not knowledgable about the products or lacked customer service experience. We will look for another carrier after our contract is completed. read more

I have never written a negative review until now. Yesterday I purchased a new phone at the Apple store. The Apple agent got an error message from Verizon when trying to activate the new phone. We then spent the next 5 hours on the phone with Verizon trying to get them to fix the error that was on their end. Today I called Verizon to review my plan. After holding for 40 mins I reached a representative only to find out I had 2 items being charged to my plan that I never asked to have. I then called another provider. Exact same plan with exact same coverage for $40 less per month. We have been Verizon customers for over 2 decades. The only way they can get to within $20 of the other provider is to auto debit direct from checking. We have been on autopay with our credit card for decades, always on time with impeccable credit. I guess Verizon doesn't value their long standing clients. read more

This store scammed me- read this before you decide to do business at this store. I was converting from T-Mobile over to Verizon and Elijah convinced me to make the switch and said if I did do that I had to surrender my iPhone and buy a new $800 Iphone through them because they said I couldn't use my own iPhone that was only a month old . Elijah and The store manager also said that I would receive $150 in a MasterCard gift card for switching to Verizon. They are now saying they were mistaken and that no longer is a offer after I switched once they promised that gift card. I hesitated because Verizon has always been the most expensive service provider anyway But the offer of $150 MasterCard gift card made me change my mind. I am convinced they said they would send me that gift card just so I would switch and now they're saying that's no longer available. Think twice before you do business at this location! read more

Please be advised that this is a FAKE Verizon outlet and not a real Verizon store. We went here because it was close to home and didn't realize the scam they have going. We bought an unlimited glass screen protector plan, and then they refused to honor the plan. We then re-purchased a new glass screen protector plan and they refused to honor that. They accused us of trying to steal the glass protector and then charged us $80 to our account. The manager Katherine was totally untrained in complaint management and inept in every way. She opened the store front door and threw us out. We have been Verizon customers for 15 years and to be treated this way by an "authorized dealer" is some payback. I was in need of taking my iPad into a Verizon store to have it looked at, as it was running very slow. Bill Neubert, VP of Sales for ON Communications looked at it and said " I can't in my right mind try and sell you a new IPad" now let me say, I have a Gen 1 iPad. For him so say this was astonishing to say the least...we looked T it and I told him a couple things I had noticed, and he assured me we could fix it. He then turned to my iPhone which was a 6. He looked up Mj contract and said... we can upgrade you to a 7 now...with no additional outlay of money. WHAT? Sure enough Bill and his Verizon employee fixed me up and made me feel like I now have a neighborhood Verizon store I don't hate walking into.... This is the ONLY Verizon store you should go to for help or to purchase a phone. I dealt with Meghan and she was awesome--patient, knowledgeable, friendly. I am on my adult children's family plan and didn't have access to PINs or passwords. While I had trouble contacting my children for this information, I wasn't asked to come back when I got the information--Meghan actually called and texted my kids for me until we got the information we needed. He even came in in his day off to make sure the final piece of our new phone swap was seemless and to do a final analysis to ensure our 9 lines were in the right plan, etc. although the whole process was time consuming as we expected, Dexter did a superb job and was very knowledgable, respectful and so polite!! Aaron and Jamar are two of the finest examples of professional customer service I have ever encountered. They walked both my wife and I through the process of transitioning from an iPhone 4s to iPhone6 as well as from an iPhone 4s to a Samsung Note. Despite the frenetic nature of Apple's latest rollout, they treated us as if we were the only customers in the store. Anybody who carries out a Verizon transaction of any kind must attempt to do so at this retailer on Pima. You will feel as if you are a part of their personal family. The best customer service I've ever had and definitely for an electronic shop. I bought my phone at a different Verizon location and they couldn't get rid of me fast enough,mo time for questions. So after 4-5 months I was tired of my smartphone being smarter than me! This location is convenient off 101&Pima so I tried it. I had a CS member sit with me for over an hour to determine what I wanted to use my phone for and he showed me how to install and made sure it worked and suggested other great apps I wouldn't have thought about!! All places should have such caring and thorough customer service!Even when I thought I was done,the Manager spent another half hour discussing service plans and upgrading IPad!
