Great customer service getting my new router. Nice man took care of me and returned my old router. Verizon scammed me and committed fraud. I was a new customer. Opened a new account. Had wifi for 5 weeks. The promotion included $200 Visa gift card. After 3 hrs on phone they discovered my account was cancelled the second day. I suspect the phone agent got my business and changed the address to receive the gift card. Of course no promotion today for gift cards. They also tried to bill me again $99 for self install and I had to listen to all their tv sales packages etc. Annoying. read more

It'd be better to get a number (or leave one) and sit in the car and wait with the A/C on in the lot. This is in the small Echo Plaza. Guy was quick, equipment bagged up (cords/remotes in the bucket) and once I was scanned in, returned equipment in less than 5 minutes. Called ahead and confirmed they had the router I needed. When I got here the sales associate e informed me that yes the router was in stock but she couldn't sell it to me without an order number. So while in the store I called Verizon and waited over 20 on hold. Finally ordered it through Verizon customer service, she gave me an order number but the sales associate stated that number was invalid as it was for shipping not pick up. Why would I ask to have an item shipped to my house when they have it in stock in the store that I am standing inside of! If a customer doesn't have an order number it should be a matter of minutes before the system can generate it. I shouldn't have to call Verizon while in the store and still not get the item I want that is in stock by the way. Worst customer service! Policies don't make sense, incompetent workers. If you want to make your blood pressure escalate stop by. Will never come here again! read more

The manager did whatever he could to successfully transfer all my photos onto my new phone. I was deeply happy that he was determined to successfully back up my phone and transfer all onto my new phone. The people there actually care about their costumers. I recently had to pay my x-wife's bill. I did not have her account number but the rep Shian Andrew said he could help. He just had to send a pin to her phone and have her read it back to him. This proved to be more difficult then anticipated but shian was very patient and helpful. He then went to the pay kiosk and walked me thru the process. WENT TO THE ONE IN WEST PHILLY BUT ODDLY ENOUGH THERES NONE FOR THE ONES IN PHILADELPHIA ON YELP TO POST A REVIEW ABOUT SO I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO POST THIS ON A FEW OF THEIR STUPID LOCATIONS SO PEOPLE KNOW NOT TO EVER GO HERE! I went to one of their "Verizon stores" to buy an iPhone 7plus and the sells guy not only added a bunch of stuff on to our bill that he didn't tell us he'd charge us for but he also over sold a screen protector to my mother. The screen protector was supposed to be $30 and he sold it to us for $70! I contacted TCC about all of this last Wednesday's they said they'd give me the price difference back after their manager would speak with me and now it's been almost a week and I haven't gotten that call from the mananger. Not to mention all of a sudden I can't get a hold of anyone on the phone again, I've called over a dozen time, left voice messages, emailed them and I still have not heard back. NEVER GO TO A TCC RETAILER THEY ARE ALL SCAMS! I will make sure to share my story EVERY where their name is and I will make sure to go back to that store this week and give that guy a piece of my mind as well. read more

They only have 2 employees and both employees are working on cell phones and all I need is to drop off a non working cable box to pick up a working box which will not take any longer then 5 minutes but yet not one of the employees say one word to any of us. This afternoon had Monday written all over it but Shian at TCC Verizon saved the day. I was ready to end a bad day with an evening of TV in bed but my ailing cable box died (It was on its last legs but it finally quit when I needed it!) I mustered the energy to trek to the nearest Verizon store that deals with equipment. When I got there, one guy was working and using the phone but the other guy was just sitting looking at his phone and would not look up. Finally he acknowledged me with a shout across the room and when I said I needed a new cable box he said "Did you call it in?" When I asked what he meant he said I could not exchange a box unless I had called it in. I had not. I asked if he could take pity because I came all the way and had no other time to deal. He shook his head. So I asked if at least he could offer me a power cord which was the main problem. He said he couldn't help me. His colleague finished his phone as I was turning away dejectedly and asked how he could help and when his colleague answered that they couldn't exchange a box he said OH YES WE CAN. And asked me to come to his work station where he took my phone number for input and immediately jumped up to a back room and took a new cable box off a pilee and brought it right over to scan and send me home with. I was so tired and had such a long day that I was on the verge of tears with appreciaciation and asked if I could give him a review. Here it is. 5 Stars for Shian Andrew who not only did his job but made me feel like a valued customer. It stinks that Shian is the exception and not the rule but it feels important to thank those who care. I REALLY hope that companies look at reviews to grow and promote talented employees because people are not all the same! Thanks Shian. And hugs to your new son. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. This location is awful. My mother was at this location on May 30th to get a new phone and when she came home, the phone that was given to her came in a used box (no cellophane or plastic was removed in front of her) and there were clear dents and fraying on the box which to me shows a clear indication that the box was opened repeatedly. She began charging the phone as soon as she got home (afternoon) and it took 2 hours to get a full charge. Before she went to bed, after hardly using the phone it needed to be charged again and again the following day around lunch time. My mom is not the typical person that is glued to the phone throughout most of the day. So the fact that a "new" phone needed repeated charging is very odd. This location sold a used phone as new and then refused to give full refund. They charge a $50 restocking fee when an authentic Verizon wireless location only charges a $35 restocking and they at least give you a brand new phone. Needless to say this is a lesson learned on where to purchase a new phone. Something I learned purely through observation when helping my mom fix this situation. An authentic version wireless store will have greeters at the front where they take your information. They don't hide in the back by the registers playing on there phones like this place does. read more

After two visits to this" verizon " store I figured it out. They are not a Verizon store! They will not tell you that even when I ask them directly why they were wearing different shirts. Their service is horrible and fraudulent. Avoid this place at all costs a mile east of there is a real Verizon store on Route 22 in Union where the service is much better read more

An unprofessional and miserable group. One employee was obviously angry at another, and swearing at a third employee across the store about the other employee. Avoid ALL TCC and KC Wireless stores - they are NOT real Verizon stores. Traded in phones and quoted a price. Bills immediately escalated. Since summer 2018 we are still getting the run around and bills are not the price the sales person quoted. Sales person stopped responding, went back to the store in Bound Brook and under new management so no access to our records. Repeated calls, emails & huge bills for 8 months and continuing!! read more

I was greeted at the entrance by what appeared to be the store manager yesterday at mid-day. Unlike Verizon owned stores, I was not checked in by the greeter, but was invited to stand in a long line to pick up a FIOS Settop Box. The greeter assured me the line of 8 people was moving quickly. 30 minutes later I arrived at the counter and was given the STB and completed the transaction in less than 5 minutes. While in line I witnessed the following: Customers in the line where visibly uncomfortable with the wait and observed three counter personnel and the manager serving one commercial customer for as long as we stood in line. One customer with two small children trying to return FIOS equipment left the store due to the length of the wait. A gentleman in front of me (#7 in line) after waiting ten minutes asked politely if the manager could handle his exchange transaction. The manager's response was "Do you think you're special? You'll have to wait in line just like everyone else". The manager's response disturbed the customers in the long line and infuriated the insulted customer and visibly affected the Verizon staff. The manager's inappropriate response to the customer affected me personally as a witness because the manager is white and the customer is black. I've witnessed this behavior in the South. The manager's response can only be characterized as racially biased and insensitive. Avoid this location until the current manager finds a new job not dealing with customers. read more

I work in the area and this Verizon store has the best service in the area. 99% of my business is on the phone and computer and i am frequently in for this or that. These guys and gals are great with finding solutions to my crazy questions and do not rush you out, though they can complete something quickly when needed. I recently returned equipment to this Verizon location. Although I was the only customer at the time, the young salesman at the counter was reading messages on his phone and didn't even acknowledge me. I had to ask him to put down the phone and assist me. He became verbally abusive and called ME rude!! This is just one more negative VERIZON experience IN A COLLECTION OF MANY. Will they ever train employees to respect and assist customers?? The worst customer service ever. I waited an hour to get help with only one person in line ahead of me. He actually ended up walking out of the store since he had waited for so long. All he needed to do was drop off a cable box. Once it was my turn, I was inquiring why I had been doubled charged on my credit card for my buy out of my old phone to upgrade to a new phone. They had no answers and didn't even know how to resolve the issue even after presenting the credit card statement showing the extra charge. The service person then preceded to tell me that he thought that I thought he was lying to me. Why would you say that to a customer, and no I didn't think he was lying. I did think that he just didn't know but should have attempted to figure out how to resolve the problem. After he walked away from me, I switched service people and was then helped by a nice girl but unfortunately she could not resolve the problem either other than by telling me to call Verizon or dispute the charge on my credit card. Total waste of 2 hours. Next time, I'll give the store in Westfield a try when I need help. When I left over 2 hours later, there was a line of at least 10 people behind me waiting and one sales person behind the desk still doing nothing. read more

I should not even give them one star. They are terrible. They tell you false information and sell you insurance that is a scam. $150.00 and it covers nothing. My daughter dropped her iphone and cracked the screen. I called the insurance company and not only is ther ea $150 deductible to replace the screen but what a hassle to get that done. My parents had the same issue with them and we have had previous issues with them receiving false information. Run far away and go to an actual Verizon Store or go through Apple direct. This is a review of the Verizon Wireless store at 901 Mountain Ave., Springfield, NJ. It is by far the best Verizon Wireless store in the area. (The people at the Westfield store by contrast are rushed and don't have patience for your questions, and even give incorrect answers.) Here at this store which is accessible easily from Route 22 (near Stew Leonard's wine shop), the staff is patient, knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy or condescending, especially appreciated by tech-ignorant folks like me. Jonathan Tavarez in particular was especially helpful and answered all my questions, even transferring my apps from my old phone while I waited, when I upgraded to iphone6. To reiterate, he did not only transfer my photos and videos, but also my apps! (This was never an option at Westfield). He recommended the best case for protection as well (Incipio Dualpro Dual Layer) and gave me a discount on it. read more
