We upgraded our phone with them and they snuck in all sorts of phone plan upgrades that we never agreed to, adding significantly to our monthly costs and forcing me to spend hours on the phone with Verizon to remedy it. Full disclosure: I am NOT a tech genius (to put it mildly!) so I needed a LOT of help when I switched from a Jitterbug Smart 2 to an iPhone 16! I was also getting an iPad, and needed help getting that launched as well. Fortunately, I went to the perfect place to get all the help I needed - the Verizon store in the Westchester Mall. Miles, the store associate who walked me through the process of getting and setting up both devices, was unbelievably patient and skilled in walking me through every step and answering every question thoroughly and clearly. His knowledge and dedication to ensuring that I would be able to use and enjoy the devices they sold me made my experience with the Westchester Mall's Vertizon Wireless Zone one of the best I've ever had! read more

Do NOT buy your phones at this store. I was told that I could get a new phone for a $4 months increase in my payment AND I would also get a free ipad and watch since I was a 10 year customer. I do not need these items and never opened the boxes. My monthly bill has increased from $220 to $750 and I have spent hours trying to reverse this scam that has been done to me at this store. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. They will lie to you, make unauthorized changes on your acct and Unnecessary changes that do not even apply to the products that you have. This Verizon is conveniently located in the Westchester mall where just a few floors up is apple after buying my daughter a new phone we wanted to go to Verizon to get her the new number and let me tell you The customer service here was amazing they two guys on shift were great they were incredibly patient and although we were there for a while they managed to get it us the perfect plan for me and my family all in all this is a great Verizon and if you are near here this is definitely a spot I recommend it is nothing like my town where employees are bored and inattentive they are very polite and patient read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Cory (the manager) is a complete jerk. As a Canadian who just moved to White Plains for the next four years for medical school, I walked into the mall to get a US phone plan. I went into the Verizon store, and had an absolutely terrible experience. Cory proceeded to show me the different phone plans and I picked one. He then asked me for my SSN, and being that I am Canadian, I don't have one. He then told me my only option without an SSN is a prepaid plan. Given that I thought I did not have any other option, I paid for a prepaid plan. I then walked into a proper Verizon store, and they informed me that that was false and got me a normal phone plan. I then went back to see Cory to try to get refunded seeing as I never used the prepaid sim and he incorrectly advised me. He said "sorry I can't help you". I then spoke to Verizon customer service, who told me to go back into the store and hand Cory the phone. Cory was extremely rude to the woman over the phone and then told me to get out of his store. I continued on the phone with Verizon, they apologized for the unprofessionalism of Cory, and proceeded to give me a refund credit to my account seeing as Cory refused to refund me. This man is an absolutely disgusting human being, and I am honestly baffled that he is the manager. Even though from the outside it clearly looks like a Verizon store, it is Wireless Wave, which I only discovered when he printed my bill! Please please please, go to an actual Verizon store and avoid Cory like the plague! read more

When making the switch from AT & T and Verizon, I was apprehensive to switch to another carrier. Working with Mike and his team (and Matt, and David) at the Verizon store in the Westchester Mall has been wonderful. They totally exceeded my expectations when it came to transferring my phone's service too much better rates through Verizon. Would give them zero stars if I could, and cannot advise you strongly enough not to do business here. Cory and Riccardo gave completely false information to secure a sale. The only reason our family learned it was false is because we spoke with a separate customer service representative by phone (regarding a phone activation issue), who let us know that Cory had not enrolled us in the program he pushed onto us, didn't process the return labels required to avoid us paying full retail for five new phones, and lied about a promotion that was ending the day of the sale. i wish there is a way to give zero and sub zero stars. do not go there... they have messed up three phone purchases and equipment purchases. the staff does not communicate. there was also a 're-stock' fee they charged me for a phone that was not working. i called verizon (the real verizon wireless co) they told me the re stock fee this store was charging me was $70. more than the real verizon co. in any case this store should have given me a full refund for a phone that was not working. i cannot emphasize enough what a disaster this was. and equipment i ordered was suppose to be delivered to their store but it was delivered to my former home address which did not reach me so i now have to go through them to get a refund. when you call the phone number for the store there is a generic voice mail you do not know if you are reaching a store or someone's landline it does not even sound like a cell phone voice mail message .. then when the store is open they rarely pick up the phone. stay away!!! go to the real verizon wireless store which is less than two miles from this store on central avenue read more

From the looks of the other reviews, I suppose Jeffrey (or Geoffrey, as it stated his name on my invoice) must be known for adding things without the customers permission! Went in and upgraded my phone as well as my mothers phone, and at the end of the transaction, sleazy guy Geoffrey tossed an orbit hotspot device into the bag at the end of the transaction, without any conversation about what it was and the changes it would make to our bill. I asked him what it was and he goes "oh its included with your plan" and I asked "by that you mean free, I wont be charged additionally for it?" and he affirmed! A LIAR AND A SLEAZEBALL. Got my bill and added a whopping $85 to this cycle and $23 of it being a RECURRING MONTHLY CHARGE! AND now looking back at the printed invoice I requested, HE CHARGED ME SALES TAX FOR IT! Now i've had to deal with hour long phone calls with customer service to suspend the line and get my bill lowered by as much as possible. Had to drive down and try to get them to take the device back and they refused because I didn't have the box and by the time I found out I was getting CHARGED for it, it was passed 30 days. the most misleading sales tactics I have ever experienced and I've never felt this ripped off before. please do not go here for anything because you will risk getting ripped off in the most stereotypical sleazy salesmen way. read more

As others have previously noted, this is a criminal organization. Jeffrey and the store manager Corey both operate by deceiving customers and adding services never requested. I walked into the store two months ago to upgrade my iPhone on an existing Verizon account. Jeffrey without my permission added insurance for the phone which I specifically advised him I did not want, he changed my plan without my permission (costing me $30 more per month), did not explain how the $800 trade-in credit worked, and fabricated a story about how he had to keep a certain amount on my account for warranty purposes. I had to spend hours on the phone directly with Verizon to have these issues corrected. Stay away from this store. Even though the storefront says Verizon, it is a Wireless Zone store and is operated by a gang of pathological liars and criminals. Broke my original phone with in town for work and went to this dealer and said I needed a new phone. The sales rep walked right to the back grabbed a random phone and said that was the one I needed and that it was better then the one that I had just broke and there was no other questions asked. I didn't even have a chance to look at any other phone before he had already started to negotiate saying that it costed $800 and I just said no then was countered with $600 and just agreed because I needed a phone for work. come to find out the phone is over 4 years old and only has a value of maybe $200. I then proceeded to return the phone and then I still had to pay $100 (restock fee) $160 for (a buyout on my old phone) and $85 on (electronic fees) and they couldn't even show me where they came up with the amount for the restock fee. just plain horrible service and didn't even know what they are doing!!!
