My family and I have been with Verizon for probably close to 15 years maybe longer, I just wanted to talk about the people that helped my mother and me out with connecting to our Fitbit's. I've known Brittany now close to seven or eight years and I am so proud of her because, I see that she is the solutions manager and truly she is ! She and Ryan helped us sync our phones with our wristbands so that were able to track fitness! I am not rating the actual employees in the store so low but actually the upper management. I went in to upgrade my phone and spent quite a bit of money and time, I have been with Verizon happily probably 15 years. I opted to pay the $40 to have my phones info switched from one phone to another and I have done this before and it worked perfectly and I didn't have to do anything else.. however this time for some reason while she was moving everything over it stopped and she had to restart the process. Once I got home I realized part of my contacts and many of my apps had not moved over or had moved over incorrectly. It was late so I spent the better part of 2 to 3 hours fixing everything on my phone that should have been moved over for the $40 service fee I paid. I reached out to the sales rep and she advised that it was a not refundable service.. I understood that however I pointed out that would have been the case if the service I paid for I had actually been provided because it did not work. She explained there was nothing else she could do. I went online and found the parent company Cellular Sales since this store is not a corporate store and escalated my complaint up the chain where they sent it to management where it was denied. I had asked for a refund in full or even part since the service I paid for did not work and lost most of my apps and games and some contacts. I could have saved the $40 and done it myself to start with.. So be wary.. The contract you sign says non refundable service but to me that is if you decided on day 13 you don't want the phone and you take it back you are not going to get your money back for them moving your data this should not be the case if they fail on their end to move your data. if you choose to use the service of them updating your new phone be sure to stay seated with that rep until you check every last detail..no matter how late it is or how many people are behind you make sure you get what you have paid your hard earned money on. Do not trust they have provided the service they say they will because you won't get any satisfaction at store level once your card has been swiped or from upper management. read more
