I got a text message to take my phone to a boost mobile store and swap sim card for free and receive a $75 dollar credit on bill for doing it. I went here today and the young man swap it and did not charge me or try to upsell me. Other boost mobile stores in the area wanted to charge me a fee to swap sim. The customer associate at this store was very attentive and answer all my questions. Other customers who were being help where complaining about the other boost stores in the area. And how refreshing it was to find a legit boost mobile store who is not there to upsell them with upgrades or rude to them. The best customer service so far. No shady like the rest I been too. At this point I don't even want the phone from these incompetent fucks. Then oh it gets WORSE. So I call today about a week after my phone is suppose to be ready and ask if I need to schedule a time to come in TODAY and at first the man on the phone told me yeah we go on lunch from 1-2 so come in anytime after 2 cause we're not busy and don't have appointments today so I said okay and then in the same call within minutes he's like actually you can't come in til after 4, cause looks like we're busy and booked like what you just said y'all weren't busy!!!! That doesn't make any sense. So anyways I'm not getting my phone from this store anymore. I will be taking my business to Verizon la Habra to pick up my new phone which I ended up ordering on the app. Hopefully that goes smoother than these fuckers giving me the run around. What I don't get is when we went in for the phone the guy did the math and told us it would be $84 for the phone upon pick up day. Then when I called back two weeks later and asked about a time to come in and price I was told it was anywhere from 100-150 which didn't make any sense. But the person I talked too didn't know either he said he'd have to "do the math" when you would think the agreed upon price estimate would be in the system somehow! I went with my Korean mom who can't speak English and was pleasantly surprised that there were people who could help her in Korean. Our guy Johnny was amazing. He explained different packages and phones and answered all my questions. I never felt pressured to buy the most expensive phone or plan. I just felt confident he was there to help me get what I wanted for my mom. He also found some discrepancies with my bill from ATT and helped me save money by changing some stuff in my cell plan. When I talk to the service rep in the store he said I can do better- get you a faster router and give you the promotion for $ 41.25 but just sign up for $20 +$10 phone but come back in 30 and discontinue the TV and phone then just pay $41.25 instead of $106 i was out the door less than 15 minutes after he called me. the new router arriver 2 days later and was very easy to set up.
