If I could give this location negative stars, I would. 0 customer service I went into the store to purchase two new iPhones. I'm already a customer with Verizon and simply wanted to cancel my current contract to start up a new two year plan with new iPhones. Sounds simple. Somehow the employees here think it's better to add lines to my current contract n do whatever the fuck they want to somehow convince me to do their shitty edge program. I went here three times and left with a headache and pissed off. They don't take no for an answer and agressively you try to push edge so bad. They will go as far as insulting the customers intelligence. The First time I went I was told that I wasn't intelligent for doing it the way I want. It discouraged me so much I just want to run from Verizon. And why do I need a credit check when I'm not doing edge and I'm already a customer. then, their brilliant credit department flags me Cuz the dumb shit employee didn't cancel my contract like I told her to. Or maybe their credit department is just flagging everyone Cuz my husband has immaculate credit and still got flagged. The second time I went to purchase the phones I got a rude remark by the sales girl about how I was going to able to pay for the iPhone's I wanted. I couldn't help but respond " with my food stamps" (( rolls eyes)). Wtf is wrong with the representatives at this location??? I was so offended. I just walked out. That's the second time I was rudely approached at this store. I left and went to att and got my phones and service in less then an hr. No credit flag or blocks from corporate. the first time I was here the service was great. I got my iPhone 5, as well as some accessories. this time however, the service was mediocre. I came in to get a new screen protector, the guy who helped me was nice but kept trying to get me to buy a new case even though I kept declining. he then said he was going to get my receipt, but a girl came back and handed me the receipt and continued helping her customer. the guy had disappeared. the last time I was here they put on my screen protector for me. this time, I was never asked. On June 28, 2015, I scheduled an appointment at this store to upgrade my device. I have been a customer with Verizon for over several years. In all of my experience in dealing with your sales representatives, I have never been so disrespected and treated rudely than today. A sales representative by the name of Derrick was initially assisting me. When I informed him that I wanted to upgrade to an IPhone 6 on my eligible line (8663), he indicated that it would affect my unlimited minutes on the line ending in (1896). He proceeded to show me how I could either save money or maintain the same bill amount by switching to a different data plan. I informed Derrick that I was not interested in changing my data plan on (1896), at which point he indicated that I would have to pay full price for the Iphone 6. I told Derrick that made no sense and asked to speak with a manager. Derrick appeared frustrated that I asked to speak with a manger. The General Manager, Haroun, was not helpful at all and was even more very rude. He stated that Derrick had explained the situation to him and that I could not upgrade my eligible line (8663) and also maintain my unlimited minutes on (1896). I told him that I did not want to change anything on my (1896) line that I was only there to upgrade the (8663) line. He walked away for a few minutes then came back. Haroun stated that Derrick had informed him that my intent was to transfer the Iphone 6 to my (1896) line. This was a blatant lie and I asked him to have Derrick come over so that I could speak with him directly. Haroun then stated that he because Derrick had given him this information, he was going to "FLAG" my account so that if I later transferred any phones to another line, or even purchased a new phone on my (1896) line with the unlimited minutes I would have to pay full price for the phone. Haroun refused to listen to anything that I had to say when I told him this was not the information I gave to Derrick. Because of his failure to show any sign of trying to resolve the situation, I left the store and contacted your customer relations department. After speaking with a customer relations representative via phone, she indicated that the information given to me by both Haroun and Derrick was false. JUST AS A DISCLAIMER, I work in a high volume restaurant. I know what it's like to deal with unruly people who have little to no patience. With that said, I try to exercise the most patience and understanding when in comes to situations like these. As many other reviews have stated, I wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE star review. The wait is ridiculous! And the staff is so hit or miss. On several occasions I have called and come into the store, only to find out that the initial information that I was giving on the phone was contradictive ENTIRELY with what the current sales rep was telling me. Aside, from the miscommunication within the staff. Almost every women I have EVER experienced here has been the most miserable / HOSTILE experience! After three weeks of buying my phone the women rep told me "maybe i should be a little more careful with my phone"..... HOW COULD SHE SAY THAT? How could she automatically deem the situation as something attributed to MY wrong doing? Why was it out of the question that I was sold a defective phone! There was not a scratch on my phone, no water damage AND it had a screen protector and phone cover?! There phone service is great, the customer service IS HORRIBLE. Frank is the greatest Verizon employee out there. He tried desperately to fix my phone and although not able to fix it (because of a hardware issue) he was able to save me $30/month by changing my plan to a much better deal for me. He also caught an error that was made and is getting me $120 credit onto my account! He went way out of his way to save me money. He is the first customer service employee that I have heard say, "we understand the fine print and terms on customers bills. Most customers do not know how to catch those things that cost them money every month that they should not be paying for. So we need to fix this problem for her because it was an error made by us and she deserves to be refunded for those months of being over charged." Every time I have gone in here the wait has been horrific. The staff is generally very unfriendly and it's run more like a 3rd party cell phone repair shop than a corporate store. I wouldn't usually bother writing a review, but today I came in to ask a technical question about my phone and there was a line of people waiting for new I phones outside. I naturally walked past them being that I wasn't interested in an iPhone but I was stopped at the door by an extremely rude middle eastern gentleman who informed me that nobody could go in without waiting in line with the iPhone people. I only wish I could give this place zero stars! Obviously Verizon can't be aware that they are not only wasting money paying the employees here and the rent on the building because this place is actually turning people AWAY from Verizon. Although this store always seems to be busy, the wait time isn't long if you know exactly what you need. I knew I had an upgrade and wanted to see what my options were with their new Edge and More everything program. Phillip was not only helpful, but didn't try to sell me anything I wasn't interested in. There were a few hiccups with my checkout process, but he was able to make sure that I walked out of the store with an upgraded phone and accessories. It blows my mind that Verizon would not only hire victor carrasco but also make this guy manager. We walked in wanting to exchange an accessory. He said we have to wait -ok no problem. We waited then 15 min later we checked in on the status and noticed he was laughing and having a personal moment with who seemed to be a friend or relative who walked in after us mind you. When we asked if he could take care of the exchange for us he said he was busy in very rude and dismissive tone. We asked why he couldn't help us considering he seemed to be free and not working he got confrontational and told us to leave the store. His friend chimed in and started yelling at us too. Something out of a movie. He laughed rolled his eyes and kept telling us to leave the store. Was slouching on the desk the whole time. Didn't even have the decency to stand up. The air of arrogance was amazing. He acted like a street thug and had his thug friend to back him up. We said is this how you treat a customer of 15 years he laughed and told us to leave. This guy acts like we're at his mercy just because he's the one that can ring us up. There's absolutely no reason why we should feel uncomfortable to walk into a store to do business -mind you business that I pay 5k a year to. I hope this isn't the culture at Verizon where the company believes it's entitled to peoples money and can treat people like garbage and humiliate them. I've been with Verizon since 2008. The gentleman, at the Burbank store, who initiated the service for me stated that 2 lines were cheaper than one. Didn't sound accurate, but, being a trusting soul, I went along. Now, almost six years later, I've been overcharged for a line that I've never used. When I called customer service to request a refund on this second line, after 1 1/2 hour, the supervisor told me that the only way to recoup any $ was to take Verizon to small claims court. Will be doing just that and switching service providers. read more

Went in this afternoon to upgrade my phone and find out about the new unlimited plan. Right when I walked through the door, Mara M greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. I explained to her what I was inquiring about and she proceeded to walk me through the process of the new plan and steps towards and upgrade. While interacting with her she was very professional and courteous, by going through different options step by step, making it very easy to understand. She answered all questions I had about the upgrade and new plan. After I made my decision to purchase the phone, she offered me a complimentary water while I waited. After I purchased my new phone, she went over all of the items and accessories that I was purchasing, and then proceeded to walk me out. Great guest service, very professional!! read more

I'm actually surprised by some of these negative reviews. I always like visiting this Verizon location. The staff is always pleasant. Inside is always clean and the majority of their display phones are actual working phone to test out. Not like some of these places that put some phony picture and are nonfunctional. Once I was having problems with a newly purchased car charger. The sales rep took care of the problem right away, with no hassle. He wasted no time and I was in and out. This time, since I had to upgrade my phone, there was no question in my mind as to which location I would visit. As I expected, I was greeted by a sales representative as soon as I walked in. The facility was busy with customers however, my wait for assistance was minimal. I had the pleasure of being assisted by sales rep, Ryan Lopez. He provided me with knowledgeable and professional service. He was receptive to my needs and inquiries. Ryan took his time to explain all my options and went over a plan that was suitable to my needs. He explained functions of my phone and made sure to address any questions I had. I wasn't feeling well and asked for some water. Without hesitation, he returned right away with some water. This location offers cell phone classes so that's a big plus as well. I've been to the classes in the past. They give you tips and tricks pertaining to your phone and answer questions you may have about your phone. This is at no additional cost (well sort of. Now supposedly, the classes and tech service is part of that new $30 upgrade fee. Since this isn't a review about the $30 fee, I won't give my opinion on it). There's ample parking however on the weekends, it gets crowded in that section because there are various stores and dining places nearby. read more

The store manager apparently doesn't know what customer service is and who know how he got to be store manager, the guy just doesn't know how to talk to people! It turns out that Shauna is just a really good sales person. She sold me something I didn't want, a tablet, by telling me what a fabulous deal it was that I couldn't pass it up. She assured me there would be no extra charges associated with it, but our first bill came days after the last day to return it and that when I found out that I was charged a data plan for a device I have never even turned on. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Verizon trying to undo it all. Turns out I have to drive to the store which is way out out of the way for me (I only went there because the stores close to my house didn't have the phone I wanted in stock) to see if they would allow me to return it and she doesn't work on a day I can get out there. I had a great experience in this store, 2 days straight! I went to buy a Samsung Galaxy 5S. I had the iPhone 5S which was perfect but my son needed a cell phone so I figured I'll give him mine and I'll go up a notch. So Josiah helped me out a lot! He had helped my mom less then a month before I got mine. I went back again today because I have NOOOO idea how to retrieve my contacts from iPhone to android. Well Cameron helped a great big deal!
