I have always had a love/hate relationship with Spectrum, because of their monopoly on watching the Dodgers. I cannot get Dish, DirectTV, Hulu, TMobile, MLB.TV or any other carrier for the in-market baseball games. Its Spectrum Cable, or nothing. When every other provider offered better deals and promotions, I was just stuck because I love the Dodgers. But when Spectrum offered an alternate way to watch them, via an app, providing you were still a Spectrum Customer through Internet use or Mobile Phone, I went to investigate. And though the first customer service rep tried selling me on an expensive cable package, the manager, Nerses, stepped in and got me the Spectrum Dodger App on great promotional deal. When the season was over and I went to cancel, he went further and gave me good reason to come looking for him when the following baseball season started. So I kept in contact with him lightly during the offseason, and sure enough, when I went back the other day, (Because baseball season is starting again), he made good on his word and got me set up on a promotion for even cheaper than I paid last year, and with faster speeds! While my love/hate with Spectrum over the years, and their monopoly on the Dodgers, may continue, at least now I can attest than I am paying the same, or less, than any other provider could offer the Dodgers network to me--if they actually had the ability to do so. And I owe this to Nerses, who went above and beyond with his customer service. And as long as I continue to live in LA, or as long as he continues to work for Spectrum, then I'll go to him first over any other providers. His customer service definitely got me back in the love side of the Love/Hate relationship I've had with Spectrum over the past couple of decades. Thanks, Nerses. read more

I hadn't been into a Spectrum store in a while and honestly expected a sales pitch, but there wasn't any of that. Instead, the person who helped us knew exactly what to do. He took our old modem, entered the info into his system, and handed us a receipt with all the drop-off details. Thank you for the quick and friendly service! I ended up ordering Spectrum at our new place and I'm glad I did. I had them years ago but switched to save money. Had two very inconsistent experiences at this store - both involving the return of equipment. Two weeks ago, my MIL made some changes to her service. She's pushing 80 years old and asked me to return a couple of DVR boxes that she wasn't using as well as an old modem that was replaced. I went in without an appointment and was roughly 4th in line. The wait was about 10 minutes, but once I was served the employee was able to pull up the account information, take my equipment, and provide a printer receipt. Overall, not too bad an experience and it got my MIL off my back about returning her gear. This week, I called to make some changes to my account and was directed to the store to return my old / unused equipment. I was also returning my MIL's old router that Spectrum had replaced since my last visit. So I went in today. Again, I checked in and was 4th in line. There were more employees working this time 4 vs 2) so I figured things would go faster for me. Wrong. I ended up waiting early 30 minutes. While I did so, I noticed that people were walking in the door, not checking in, and going right up to the kiosks for service. At least 4-5 customers did this, and only 2 were re-directed to go and check in. The other 3 were served immediately without having to wait in line! So I got to watch as the employees served walk-ins, who were inconsiderate enough to not wait, on a nearly 1:1 basis while 4 of us waited our turns. For every customer in line, they served another person who just walked up to a kiosk without checking in. They also felt the need to announce to the room that if anyone was returning equipment they could either just dump it at a kiosk or go to a UPS store if they wanted a receipt. Some people chose to dump their equipment into a random pile, but I needed receipts for both accounts - and walking to the nearest UPS store with all this equipment wasn't an option. And then, to top it off, when I went to return my MIL's router I was told I couldn't do so because I'm not named on her account. I explained that I had just done so without a problem within the last 2 weeks. Despite this, the employee refused to access my MIL's account or print me a receipt for the equipment I was returning (like they just did during my last visit). Instead, the employee *hand wrote* me a receipt on a triple-layered (think carbon copy) receipt pad! In summary, I waited nearly 3 times longer, despite there being twice as many employees, while the Spectrum employees let people cut the line and tried to shirk their duties by sending people to the nearest UPS store. read more

Honestly, I knew I should have listened to the previous reviews; I should have just gotten a return label or went to UPS store. I thought that returning a modem would have taken no less than 5 minutes. Boy, was I wrong... I went in and checked in and sat down. I was looking at my phone and eventually, I thought to myself, I've been here for a while now. I looked at the time and 45 minutes had passed. I looked up and the store employees were literally helping the same people that they were 45 minutes ago. The only thing that changed were the number of people in the store, which had drastically increased. Then I saw a jolly old man enter into the store. He walked up to a store employee and asked if he can drop his old modem there. The store employee rose her voice and told him to check in. I had just about had it and was about to exit the store when I got called. It literally took the store employee a minute or two to process the modem and give me a receipt. I seriously believe they need a better system for all of this, especially since more than 70% of the people that were waiting there were people that were returning their old modems... read more

The customer service at this store needs to be better. I needed to drop off my equipment due to leaving this company behind. The lady who opened the store was extremely rude. Instead of explaining why we can't just leave the equipment she yelled at us and told us to drop off the equipment with UPS around the corner. We decided to go to the Glendale galleria location and they were amazing. Very polite and helpful. It took less than five mins to have them scan my stuff and let me go. I don't understand why this store is so terrible when others in the area are able to give excellent customer service and support. I will never be back. What is it with all these places having abnormal height seating. I'm here at spectrum to exchange my modem and their seating is either all highboy tables or lower than traditional benches. I can't get up onto the high boys and I can't get up from the low down seating. Guess I'm standing for the 20 minute wait. Ugh. Horrible experience with Karina. The initial interaction began with her yelling my boyfriend's name as we were next in line. As he explained his situation she cut him off while he was speaking multiple times, and she didn't want to look up his account prior to helping him without understanding what the situation was. She was extremely polite and helpful to other who spoke Spanish but very rude to us and others. Her tone, her energy and her presence was very unwelcoming and disrespectful. We asked to work with another representative instead and she rolled her eyes and waved us off. Bait and Switch I was given a price for my business internet services of $64.99 per month. I called twice to confirm the quote and asked for it to be emailed -- which they would not do. I paid a $99 installation service and once I got my first bill they were charging me 106.99 per month. I have been on the phone with several different managers for over 5 hours to try to resolve the issue. I've been charged a hidden fee for not enrolling in autopay. I'm also being charged a late fee for them not correcting the charges. Now I'm receiving a much lower service then I was quoted for more money. Highly disappointed. read more

He took time to explain, introduce me to Spectrum's offers and explain to me the statements, that I had with me. I asked him why my monthly bill was increasing constantly, without adding any services. I said that I was a senior citizen and that there wasn't any discount for seniors. He took time to review my account and said he already put the notes or request to evaluate my account and that I should get my discount in February or March 2025. I am very pleased with his customer service and knowledge. Chris is an asset to the company. Be careful because they'll tell you their coverage is as good if not better than T-Mobile and it's not, it's HORRIBLE in Comparison. I can't Stream Shows or Games like I did with T-Mobile, 2 hours away I couldn't do any streaming and the coverage was very spotty. I signed up for $29.95 for 2 Phones for the first year and it was changed to $24.95 for each phone no first year free for one line. When I complained about the coverage they offer me PLUS at no extra charge and my next bill I was billed $10 more for PLUS. Avoid this location by all costs unless you plan to spend your weekend there. All I had to do is drop off my equipment because I cancelled my service with them. Even that was difficult. There were only 2 people ahead of me, after an hour of wait I just left and those 2 people ahead of me were still waiting. God knows how longer it would take. Spoke to a nice girl during my lunch break about having my internet shut down at my old apartment in two weeks time, and transferred to my new place when I moved. I gave her the date I was moving, she promised me the hardware would deliver to my new place and arrive ON THE DATE I ARRIVED AT THE NEW APARTMENT, with "pinpoint date accuracy". She was nice, she was personable, I thought she knew what she was doing... I hang up the phone, and my internet goes out immediately. She shut my internet down then and there...while I was working. It took TWO.MOTHER.FUCKING. HOURS. to get the internet turned back on, I wasn't able to do my job and had to call my boss, and I had to speak to multiple people because the afternoon crew are a bunch of a shit-tossing chimpanzee motherfuckers who don't know up from down . I reported her to her supervisor, and suggested they assign her parking lot duties, picking up trash. Oh yeah, it was explained to me that there was no "pinpoint date accuracy" for the hardware delivery, that the girl had told me a lie, and that the hardware would ship out ASAP, even though I wasn't at the new place yet. Meaning, the hardware ended up sitting on a doorstep for a couple days in the sun, until I was able to get over there and get it. It's a fucking miracle it didn't get stolen. For whatever reason, I also received a SECOND set of the SAME hardware, and had to take it to a UPS store to ship back. Now I'm at my new place, it's two months later, and I get a late bill in the mail--the dumb dumb who shut my internet off forgot to activate my auto-pay, so I haven't been paying my bill. OK fair enough, I should've noticed the payments weren't being made. In my defense, though, I set up autopay five years ago, and haven't had to think of it since. But OK. Oh, but the fucktard also forgot to shut off my previous address, so now I have TWO accounts. Doh!
