Edited review because of further information: I was dragging my feet on upgrading my phone because I thought it would be a big hassle, take a long time and they'd try to sell me all sorts of stuff I didn't want or need. My experience with Mike at this Verizon was the opposite. It was easy, pleasant and he actually found me ways to save money... or so I thought until I got the first bill. Turns out the communication was very poor. There was a monthly fee for the supposedly free tablet he sold me. Luckily I never activated it and was able to return it and get the fee off my bill. And now, months later I realize that this isn't the phone I wanted. I didn't realize there were more than one model of iPhone 7. I'd said I wanted the one with the really good camera and having just seen a friend's phone discovered the reason why my pics have been so disappointing - it's not the right model. I take some responsibility for not doing my research but now I think the reason I thought it seemed so easy was that the clerk wasn't putting forth enough effort to really listen and explain things. Is it possible to give 0 stars? I wish it were. I came in several times to discuss and weigh the options of a family plan, hoping to get a better idea of my options than the website could give. Human interaction usually allows for answers beyond what the stock FAQs are online. NOT HERE. A young girl who appeared to be some sort of shift supervisor could hardly tell me what my plan was while looking at it on her computer. She then proceeded to regurgitate what I had just read on the site (even though I told her I had already looked at it) and answered questions according to what the site said. It seems I would find no better than an automated teller from this one. Visit number two: my lady and I went back and saw another employee as well as the girl we first encountered. We went with the other person, but it turns out he was in training and we had to deal with the same nitwit. So after some deliberation we decide to give it a go. We had decided on our plan, and went back yet again. We were relieved to find the girl was not there this time. Easy enough though, all we wanted to do was get on a family plan. No questions to stump the people behind the counter with. Well, surprised to find, this guy Greg doesn't know how to do that, or to look up our existing plans, and has us call customer service from our own phones to get it done. As it turns out, everyone there is completely useless, even to the point where they outsource their work to representatives over the phone. My new phone friend got everything taken care of without any problems, no thanks to anyone we spoke with face to face at this location. The moral of the story: avoid this store completely. Drive the extra 20 minutes to go elsewhere, or call customer service. The staff here is worthless. read more

Upgrading my iphone 6 was a pleasant enough experience but I later found out I was charged a monthly insurance fee that I actually SPECIFIED I didn't want. The salesman I dealt with was Arman. What I don't understand is how do you think you can get away with sneaking insurance fees in when I'm the one paying for it?... I'm gonna find out one way or the other! All of the fees they said were included or waived were actually charged after the fact. They tried to force me into all sorts of things that Verizon corporate doesn't authorize them to do. Well I guess everyone has a different experience, I have bought two phones here and I will say I prefer them to actually Verizon stores. I have always been dealt with promptly and made to feel like a valued customer. After my first phone I came back not understanding an aspect of the phone and the service rep quickly fixed it (no charge too) and did so with a good attitude. Having been to real Verizon stores, I felt the people at Wireless Plus were much more nicer and professional. I went to the Verizon store in Burbank once, where despite the fact that 8 people where working, only 3 where helping customers. It was an hour plus wait. Not here, I might not be able to get the same services offered exclusively at official Verizon stores but I think these place is great. read more

Friendly mafia-styled customer service, however, the rep wanted to be honest with me. He doesn't sell batteries or do cell phone repairs. He just sells phones and plans. Also, he has prepaid and old phones for sale cheap. Also, he didn't want me to go to another Verizon location like in Glendale Galleria or Burbank Empire Center. NOT A LEGITIMATE VERIZON STORE. I needed a simple phone upgrade and ended up having to go in 5 different times because they continually misquoted me and misinformed of the next steps. One such misquote was products they included for "free" which later showed up on my bill. When I finally got in touch with the actually lovely and helpful Verizon customer service even their rep told me that what the manager (Greg) said made absolutely no sense. The manager (Greg) could not deliver on any of his promises and I walked away completely disappointed, discouraged and with a phone I never wanted in the first place (but I just didn't want to go back). So, I am not from around here and I went on Google to try to find the closest Verizon store because I needed to make a payment, real quick before my class started I had an hour so I thought that was way more than enough time. I thought I was lucky enough that I found one so when I went in to only find that they wanted to charge me an additional $3 processing fee because I was paying cash! Are you serious!?!?!? That's seriously ridiculous I understand a processing for credit card but cash, really. So I had to go somewhere else and an hour later I still can't find a place to make my payment. My recommendation at this place is to add kiosk cause according to the staff the kiosk doesn't charge for that additional processing fee for paying cash. Super upset. read more

Appauling customer service sums up my experience today. I have been doing business with this location for 9 years and it has really gone down hill lately. I have a Verizon small business account and I get that they have security protocols. However the woman with the curly hair is out to save the world with her smug Homeland Verizon Security attitude. She wanted to know the "PIN code" and I told her that I didn't know what it was that we always used a password before, when did that last change. Her reply, "It's basically been that way forever". That is just the start. I get my mother on the phone who is driving and try to get the PIN and she does not know it either as she just had to change it due to ID theft. "Do you need anything else from her while I have her on the line?" She replies "Sounds to me like she doesn't know much, so no". That's when I couldn't take it anymore. I fold her she has a NASTY attitude and left with my fiancée. It was not just a one off remark, but several smug remakes and a bitch attitude to match. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST. There is a much better store at the victory plaza in Burbank that is corporate owned and they don't hire psychotic Mavericks like this lady. read more

Do not go here! Super Shady employees/staff first off they arent a real Verizon Store but rather an authorized retailer. I came in to upgrade my phone they said they charged a $50 transferring data fee (from one phone to the other) and in order for this fee to be $50 I had to purchase a bundle otherwise transfer fee would be more. Sales guy then proceeded to give me a "free" tablet with my bundle which they charged $199 for. Before I knew it my total purchase was $291 for a tablet and a bunch accessories (all part of my bundle) I did not need. I was completely confused he kept telling me there will be a breakdown of all the fees and services on the invoice. All meanwhile my data was being transferred, so I couldnt just leave. I left with a new phone (which I was still going to have to pay monthly for) but paid $300 for a tablet and a bunch of accessories I didnt want. I was extremely confused and pissed I was scammed into buying all this crap. I returned the next day and spoke to a manager I told him I wanted to return all this stuff and just pay the $50 fee for the data transfer (which turns out Verizon doesnt even charge a fee to transfer data once I called them) The manager said there was a $75 restocking fee to return the tablet Wtf I need to pay to return something!? Thats just crazy! Of course the sales guy fails to mention this fee when he is pitching the "free" tablet. They ended up returning some of the accessories not all, because I made a huge deal. This place has trained their employees to sell accessories and services you dont want or need to meet their commission. Verizon should not allow them to do business on their behalf! read more

I stopped in to pick up a new phone (Sony Experia EV3) around the middle of March and they said they didn't have it in stock (two years before I wanted to get an HTC One which they also didn't have in stock) they said they could order it, I then asked if they had the newest Samsung Galaxy which they had on display, again they didn't have it. Not wanting to have to drive across town and deal with Best Buy or risk another Verizon dealer I tell them to order me the Experia, They say it will take about two days, it ends up taking about four, but whatever. Day comes along and I go in to pick up the phone, everything is there and ready to go, they set up the phone but don't sync my contacts (or at least they synced half of them, because im missing some contacts but not others, not sure if it's their fault or mine.) I walk out of the store and as I'm walking to my car I realize they forgot to give me my rebate paperwork, I go back in and he has it ready, it's all cool, so I think. I submitted the rebate paperwork about two days after I bought the phone. Fast forward to today when I receive a nearly blank postcard telling me my rebate couldn't be processed due to an "invalid purchase date". I look into it a little further, it turns out the rebate had been expired for four days when I bought the phone...a big reason why I got this phone was because of the rebate, and they fail to tell me it's already expired even before I bought the phone. So now im out $100 and they are out a customer. read more

I have been a Verizon customer for many years, before it was called Verizon, when it was called Air Touch Cellular. Throughout all those years of Verizon customer service, and at several Verizon locations, I have never experienced such outstanding competence in service as I did at this location with the skill, courtesy, and professionalism of Brien Evans. His meticulous installation of my iPad screen protector, couldn't have been done more perfectly and patiently. His upgrading of my husband's iPhone, transferring all its data from the old one, and placing it in an Otter Box, couldn't have gone more smoothly or efficiently. He is a true master of these skills. Furthermore, he answered all my questions about the Apple products and Verizon services with more knowledge than I received in all my phone calls to Tech Coach and Verizon Customer Support. Place is horrible. I went here thinking it was a real Verizon store, my mistake. Should have read between the lines when it took me 30 minutes to get the clerk's attention bc he was handling another customer who didn't even buy anything. Purchased a new phone for $250 bucks and spent THREE HOURS trying to get it activated. Guy handling it (only person there - Greg H. was his name) called Verizion customer service no less than 3 times as he didn't know how to activate it. He was unable to transfer any contacts, set up the email, anything. I finally lost my patience after three hours, took the new phone to a REAL Verizon store and got everything set up in ten minutes. Totally useless employees and bad customer service (he helped another lady while he was trying to handle my phone and she also waited an hour, almost missing a flight). Can't believe this place is even open. Will NEVER patronize again. read more

Don't waste your time here. This is not a real Verizon store! My wife and I went here to open a new account from TMobile. There was only one person working so we waited 30 minutes to be helped. When we were finally helped and got things going, there were a lot of hoops to go through. I ended up not opening a Verizon account through these people and ended up going to Best Buy with no hassles. When we were helped, we were instantly approved to open a new account. We said we wanted the HTC One and iPhone 5, which they had one of each available. When we started talking about insurance, they said we had buy their carriers insurance and pay $200 for each phone upfront. I asked about the Verizon insurance for $10/month and they said I was unable to purchase that. I asked if he was sure, he called his boss and started speaking another language. He confirmed that we had to buy their insurance provider. This meant I would pay for the phones, and insurance upfront which would total over $900. That's too much to pay to walk out with 2 phones on a new 2 year contract. Finally he said his boss would not sell us the phones because we were opening a new account and were not transferring our numbers. He said this was a red flag and they were afraid we would only pay the new activation price and resell them for retail price. That was it for me! We left and here's the review. I went there to get the new Galaxy and they told me that they are only issuing new phones to new customers. Their older, loyal customers would have to wait a week and make another trip to the store. If that is not backwards customer service. Then, i was told that all the other Verizon stores were honoring the same rule. It was completely untrue. Multiple Verizon locations all over the city were issuing new Galaxy phones to people. I clearly just picked a bad place that gave me false info. I would definitely go to another location. read more

I promised myself before I'd NEVER go to this location again but because my matter seemed simple enough for them to handle I took my chances. I walk to the door, it's now locked an employee has to give you access (inBurbank... REALLY? Across from Portos the crime is 0) I walk in, one person being serviced another waiting. I walk towards employee he doesn't even make eye contact. He sits slouched not even engaging with his current customer, I sit for 30 seconds, he hasn't said one word to me. On April 3rd, 2020, my iphone's battery died, and I realized that I do not have a car available, and also, in order to avoid public transportation, AND because I dd not have relectronic means to call an Uber; but I had a new phone with me; the only thing I needed a professional salesman to do is to move the SIM card from my old phone to the new one, and I was afraid to do it myself not to mess it up...I decided to walk 2.5 miles (one way) to the nearest Verizon store, on a straight sun, and with the Heat Advisory for that day. I got there, and the lady salesperson, first name - (Jessica (?) dark hair, short complexion), looked at me, looked at my phone, heard my request to change the SIM card from one phone to the other, took the phone...started turning Settings page, said something like - I have a lot of Data - that could not be done in the store, but at home - they do not do that -(?) in the store...she printed out and handed me several pages of how to transfer data from an old phone to the new one - and sent me out from the store. Now, after walking that long, with all kinds of worrying that I had that day, unrelated to the phone, I just exited and walked back home, I did not tell her that I do have enough purchased data on my iclud, that data is not even in question, but I know I specifically only asked about the moving of the SIM card. I exited, and I was unable to call Uber, unable to make a phone call. Untill the next day, when I got to the Porter Ranch Verizon Corporate Office, where they helped me and it took them 5 minutes to just move the SIM card from my old phone to the new one. This woman was either lacking knowledge, or lacking customer care talent, or pissed for something else, but she clearly looked at me, started being semi-rude, and choose not to take a second look at my request. I did hurt my feet, but my feet will heal, but her ignorance and judgment over a customer is not gonna help her on a long run!
