Verizon should be sourly disappointed with this store and their customer service. It has gotten worse and worse. Purchased $2k worth of phones there just 2 months ago and needed some help with the Verizon Family app. "Randy" was the intake person and was just useless and unprofessional. When I asked for a number to call and speak to someone he gave me a piece of paper and told me to "call them and complain all I want". He then told me that the manager "Veronica" was too busy in a meeting to talk to me. They said that there would be an hour wait as there was only one person helping customers and 3 people scurrying around stocking etc. I turned around and went to Anu Singh's Verizon store and he fixed my problems. I was out of there in 7 minutes. I will not be returning and I will be giving my patronage to Anu Singh from now on. Verizon, you need to do something about your store! This Verizon store is undoubtedly the most horrible in the chain. The personnel there could have only been trained at the "rude" institute. If there is one. They are slow, they mumble, they are the least professional people that I have ever encountered. This location almost cost Verizon my four phones that they have had for over 12 years now. Thank goodness the new one in The Shoppes opened, much better service and an over better class of employee has been hired there. I used to have good experiences at this Verizon location, but lately it seems that my experiences are much like others posted here. The employees are increasingly clueless and the management doesn't seem to care. What makes this even more infuriating is that Verizon now imposes a $30 "upgrade fee" for existing customers upgrading to a new phone. This was explained to me by one of their "highly trained" (inner voice screaming B___ S___ at this point) employees as necessary to cover training the employees on the new smartphone technologies, providing training to customers on how to use their phones and the costs associated with transferring contacts from the old phone to the new phone. Unfortunately, none of these things seem to be taking place. Especially the last one. My wife just upgraded from her Blackberry to a new Droid 4. First off, one of the prime goals of the employees seem to be the up-sell. Out he comes from the back room with a box full of every accessory they sell for the phone. Covers, chargers, Bluetooth, A/V cables, screen protectors, etc. We told him all we wanted was a cover, screen protector and car charger. Ok - fine. When all was said and done, we asked him to install the screen protector. He hurriedly removed a protector from the package and proceeded to the back room. Huh? You need to go to the back room to install a screen protector? Is that where you keep the high tech screen protector installation machine? Anyway, when he comes back out, the protector is on, but there are four large pieces of debris under the protector. Was he doing the work with his eyes closed? Who knows. Anyway, we then ask for the contacts to be transferred. No problem he says. That is until he comes back out from the back room again and asks us if we happen to have a cable. Huh? Why should we have anticipated having to provide a cable? He says they don't have the mini-USB cable for their machine -- only the micro-USB that has become the standard as of late. I'm thinking -- why would they expect everybody who is upgrading to already be using the latest technology? Wouldn't many people upgrading be doing so from an older phone that doesn't have micro-USB? Besides, wasn't I recently told by one of YOUR co-conspirators that part of the $30 upgrade fee is for the cost of transferring the data? And you want me to pay that fee and also the time and expense of going back home to get a cable that you guys should have in the first place? I think not! I asked for a manager, and got one clueless manager after another. The first just had a deer in headlights look on his face when I suggested that if they can't complete the upgrade, then they shouldn't charge an upgrade fee. He handed me off to another manager who insisted they would do whatever necessary to transfer the contacts. They eventually had to re-establish service on the Blackberry in order to install backup assistant to backup the data. Then he comes out ans says they're having trouble doing that because the phone can't access the internet. Hmmm, that was working just fine before the "upgrade". Eventually, they succeeded in transferring the contacts, but not after holding us hostage in the store for over two hours. What ever happened to ensuring the customer leaves the store happy? The bottom line -- the same rep that described what the upgrade fee is supposed to be for also told me that Verizon charges this fee "because all the other providers are doing it". Same with the dropping of the "New Every Two" program -- nobody else does it. Programs like New Every Two are what separated Verizon from the rest. If they're striving to be just like everybody else, then where's the incentive to continue doing business with Verizon? I still prefer the coverage with Verizon - and that's now the only thing keeping me there as their customer service and support have gone down the toilet - just like everyone else. Because of this, I would have given this visit zero stars, but Yelp makes me choose at least one. read more

I was a little upset when I went into this local Verizon store and was told by the manager that he had never seen "Droid keys falling off" before and there was nothing he could do because I didn't buy insurance. Horrible! I always seem to be having phone problems and my last experience left me feeling like I never want to enter this store again even though it is so close to where I live and work. The creepy sales associate JC not only messed up my plan resulting in over $1200 in overage fees (which I refused to pay) but he proceeded to get my phone number from my file!!! He texted and called me from his personal phone number trying to take me out. This is a warning to all females going into this store, apparently these sales associates think this is acceptable behavior even though this is illegal!!! She didn't tell me the exact cost of the plan by picking the phone I did. When I got my first bill, I called back and stated they totally lied and misrepresented the plan. They said they didn't have record of the transaction. Well, I have the phone, the receipt, and the bill. They first withold information then act ignorant. Someone please call the BBB on them. A horrible experience with inept staff and extremely poor follow-up. In purchasing a specific phone after being told it would be the one to best help with scheduling clients for a business, it turns out each of the staff we spoke to has different knowledge of the phone (one even saying he did not even think the calendar mode could hold more than one meeting per day and another staff saying to purchase more memory when more memory does not even help). So, after spending all this money, the phone does not do what it was intended for and, while the manager was supposed to call back , this was over a month ago. BEWARE! read more

Sold me product I didnt need. Stuck in contract so must pay. And then final straw, they tied the Edge contract to a new phone line instead of new phone purchase, and now that I want to cancel that new phone line, I am being told I can not unless I buy-out the Edge contract. Was not my mistake they put on phone number and not actual phone. Now I'm forced to pay monthly phone service for a phone number I want to cancel, that is on a phone I bought elsewhere and brought in. Wth?! I've called numerous times about this and keep getting the run around. I want to make sure everyone is aware this Verizon has fully ripped me off and I'm continuing to pay monthly and on time! Terrible customer service. Went in and after waiting almost an hour was finally told ok to change lines. But when I called the same guy that said ok and gave me his personal card then changed mind and said no and that I'd have to come in and talk to manager. I left Verizon because the customer service is terrible and I live in a "dead zone." I came back to them because we got a network extender. I brought my old iPhone 4 to be activated since the iPhone 6 was going to be released in about a month; however the customer service representative told me I could trade in my iPhone 4 for the 5s and when the 6 came out I would pay the two year price not the normal price. My blackberry was not functioning properly so I came to this store hoping they could maybe re-calibrate the buttons and memory. But apparently, I did not have internal warranty that would have only costed $1.99 more than what I was paying!! So the sales rep J.C tried to be helpful but provided me with only three options: 1) open another line on my account to qualify for a new phone 2) buy a new phone for full price @ about $550.00 3) wait 7 months for an upgrade As you can see none of the options above were very helpful.. Louis, the store manager then came to assist me. I explained my problem to him and he kindly took my phone to see it and had his associate, Ray, search their inventory for something more suitable. They ended up adding the internal warranty to my plan and overnighted a brand new blackberry to me completely free! Although J.C. was very friendly, Louis and Ray were extremely attentive and understanding of my situation. They acted promptly and professionally and definitely have a happy customer! Gullerimodo is a liar and will do anything for a sale instead of customer service. Verizon called me about the reasoning switched over to Sprint. When I told the girl my dilemma, she was willing to help me out, to get me back with Verizon. Bianka helped me so much and told me I could either go inside the store to get this fixed or call her. I decided to go to the store and this sales man (hard to pronounce or ever spell it), helped me. Turns out, he was trying to get the sale to bring me in as a NEW customer. Then spend more money!! It seems like all the workers at this location act like their sh*t don't stink. They act like they're too good for you. I came here today and one of the guys attempted to help me out because my phone had been acting up for the past few weeks and today I tried to restart it and it just wouldn't turn on anymore. The worker told me they couldn't do anything for me because I had a scratch on my screen, so he advised me to call insurance and they could refer me to a place to get my screen fixed. Um...what? That wasn't the problem I came in for. So I just said ok and left. And as we were walking out there were about 5-6 eagerly waiting employees facing the entrance and not one employee said have a great day. I mean after all it is retail, so aren't they all about "customer satisfaction"? It just makes me feel so awkward leaving as they just watch me without saying a word. I've been in here a few times to get my phone fixed and no one seemed to be able to help. One guy looked at it for about 2 minutes handed it back to me & said they can't do anything to fix it! The only reason why I'm giving it four stars is because I went back and a young man named Kyle was outstanding! He listened to my problem and figured out a way to fix my phone! As a long and loyal customer, it is unacceptable to force a customer to alter the rate plan which was mutually agreed upon by Verizon wireless and I years ago. Aside from being an inconvenience, it is unfair to give the option to either comply and pay a premium price for unlimited data or be forced to terminate the contract. As per my store experience, I did not feel I was treated as a valuable wireless customer. I felt ignored and scammed by a store representative at the Chino branch in California by the name of Emilio. I was informed by a telephone representative that I qualified for $100 promotion off of a iPhone6s plus. I informed Emilio to check the telephone notes which was noted by the customer service representative on the promotion. Emilio said "I know and I will apply the promo code." After reminding Emilio numerous times not to forget about applying the promotion, he continued to ignore my request. His only response was "I already applied it." I received my email receipt at home, only to find out that the promotion was never applied even after numerous reminders to Emilio and his response of "I already did." It was a horrible experience in which Emilio never smiled, he made eye contact with only to the iPad, and ignored my presence. The only reason I purchased the phone that day was because of the necessity of a phone for my business and I was being offered a promotion of $100 off. My suggestion as a long time customer, I would never recommend or refer Emilio from the Chino branch to any friends or family. read more
