I purchased a fantastic deal bought a few things for the Labor Day sale. I had to return the headset wouldn't sync with my work computer. I was the first one in line on a Sunday half an hour, two employees later, nobody could return the darn headset. They had no way of doing the return for me.. in the defense of the employees they did try. They said they could override the day of the return, since they have a time limit. The bottom line the deal was not worth a headache and the anguish that I am feeling. I just need to return a headset that was $90. That's it. This will be my last purchase with Best Buy never again. They need to train their employees how to make returns on bundle sales and the longer they took on me the longer the line behind me kept getting. I had a bad experience at Best Buy today. I bought an Apple Watch from here. However, we visited Verizon twice (two hour sessions) and spent a long time at home trying to get the cellular connection to work. The Verizon worker got in contact with higher ups twice, and it was deemed that the Apple Watch is most likely DEFECTIVE. We went back to Best Buy and worker said they aren't able to do a cellular connection either. She said that she agreed that the watch is probably defective. We decided to return the watch. But the manager said that he couldn't give us a full return because of a tiny scratch on the watch. I understand that if an item was not in good condition, they can't take it. but this Apple Watch is DEFECTIVE. He said that because of the scratch, he would have PROBLEMS RESELLING (the defective watch) TO NEW CUSTOMERS. This is a defective watch and best buy is trying to resell it????? I am getting an exchange instead and have to visit Verizon again in hopes that the watch will work. read more

Terrible customer service and experience I purchased a refrigerator from Best Buy in Chino (Grand Ave). The unit was delivered defective--it never worked properly from the start, and we discovered the issue the very next morning when none of the food was cold. A technician came out 4 days later and confirmed the compressor was completely defective. I was told a replacement would be ordered, but then another tech called and said they weren't authorized to fix it. When I contacted the store, I was given only two options: buy another fridge or cancel the order. No real solution, no accountability. I tried multiple times to speak with the general manager, but he was always "unavailable" and never returned my call. In the end, I was forced to go back and purchase another refrigerator, paying an additional $583. To make matters worse, delivery was scheduled 6 more days out--after already being without a fridge for nearly two weeks. Despite being a repeat customer (TV, washer, laptop, etc.), there was zero effort to resolve the situation or take responsibility. This was one of the worst retail experiences I've had. I will not be shopping here again, and I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

Positive experience here at the Best Buy in Chino! My boyfriend, son and I were anticipated for Pokemon Day (2/22/25). We arrived around 1:00 pm, just to see a line inside, but it's Pokemon and that was expected. Unfortunately, they ran out of the limited edition pins and stickers (boo~). However, we still had a fun time because the Nintendo staff members were so polite and they understood our frustration, since they had a long line of people hours before the event started. They also gave away Pokemon cards, and best of all, it was FOR KIDS ONLY!!! No Scalpers this time, so my son grabbed a pack for himself! I asked if they still had the 2024 Illustration Art (3-pack) promo cards, but they said you'll have to ask a Best Buy staff member. He said I could have it shipped to me, but I needed it before Monday for work. Since they "lost" my paid order and didn't offer expedited shipping so I can get it before Monday. They didn't ask me to wait longer and I'd get a call when it's ready. They didn't offer any suggestion for a replacement and no offer for a discount for the inconvenience of them not having my order ready and "losing" in the store. They didnt help me, terrible service. I had a negative experience at the Best Buy store in Chino. A few days before Christmas, I visited the store to purchase gifts for my wife. I observed numerous displays of open-box televisions; Samsung Crystal UHD models were on the left, and Samsung QLED models were on the right. After reviewing the television's specifications and pricing on Google, I informed the Best Buy associate that I would discuss the purchase with my wife and return later or another day. On Christmas Eve, I returned to Best Buy to complete the transaction after seeing the TV was still there. At checkout, the associate confirmed the significant savings on the QLED model; I acknowledged this was the primary factor influencing my decision. I was informed by the associate that a $50 Best Buy gift card would be included with my Samsung television purchase. I asked why and was told, all Sansmung TVs get a $50 gift card. I was highly satisfied with the television's exceptional value and the included gift card. On December 26th, I retrieved my television from the merchandise pickup area behind the store. Following a brief wait after ringing the bell, I presented my receipt to an associate. She subsequently retrieved an incorrect television. Upon noting the discrepancy, I clarified that I know what TV I bought and the television I purchased was clearly marked with blue painter's tape all over the box. She then correctly located and retrieved the appropriate item. After initial inspection when I got home, I discovered the television was a Crystal UHD model, not the QLED model as advertised. A subsequent call to what I believed was the Chino store revealed it was a call center; the representative stated that an in-person visit was required to resolve the discrepancy, as they could not connect me with a manager. On Saturday, December 28th, I returned the television and requested to speak with a manager. The associate I addressed identified himself as a manager and was, in fact, one of the individuals who assisted me with the purchase. I explained the situation, but his smirk was unprofessional. He indicated that the crossed-out areas on the box and a small tag identifying the model were sufficient. I countered that a customer would not reasonably be expected to decipher such small print. Furthermore, with two displays of open-box televisions--QLED on the right and Crystal on the left--why should a customer assume the boxes contained different models? Finally, I pointed out that, from a customer's perspective, the "X" could easily be interpreted as an internal employee identifier for open-box items. I informed the manager that online research of the Samsung Crystal TV model revealed a discrepancy; the purchase price exceeded the advertised price on Google and Best Buy. This suggests I was taken advantage of all the way around. He inquired about my interest in returning the television for a refund. I declined, requesting the originally purchased item at the agreed-upon price. Upon his refusal, I asserted that this constituted false advertising and a significant inconvenience. I expect immediate rectification of this situation, as the responsibility does not lie with me. Following a thirty-minute inspection of the television by several colleagues and a subsequent private meeting, the manager offered a replacement: an open-box QLED 60D model in lieu of the 70D I believed I had purchased. He explained the only difference between the two TVs was the Hz. Lacking specialized knowledge of television technology, I relied on his explanation and a quick online search for verification. I inquired about the price difference, requesting the 60D at the price of my original purchase. He presented a price tag indicating a lower cost. I questioned how a superior model could be priced lower than the model originally purchased. The manager attributed this to a possible pricing error on the original 70D, suggesting it may not have been discounted before my purchase. I found this explanation dubious, given the television's prolonged display in the open-box area with a clearly visible price. There was one woman sales associate wearing a black shirt that couldnt believe the issues and also agreed that a customer wouldnt know any different Whatever the truth is, my entire experience was a complete shit show of incompetence and waste of my time. I will probably never do business with BestBuy again and make sure to inform people when making purchase of open boxed items, make sure you verify the item is what The box says and not damaged. read more

I went to return an item 2 hours after purchasing. The manager Beto opens the item then tell me I need to pay for the restocking fee. When I show him on best buy website that restocking fee only applies if I open the item he says that the item is open and now I have to pay for it. Worst place to go to. Get to the register, staff ring it up at $199, then argue with me when I point out the difference. I showed the cashier the shelf tag, and all he said was "Oh, that's wrong." He should have honored the price on the tag, instead of saying "no, that's wrong", and walking away. That's poor customer service at the least, and possibly a bait and switch tactic.
