I Went to this store to buy a phone & the sign said open & when I went in, I waited & waited & when the girl finally came out the back she was very angry & rude & said 'uh we're not open yet so you shouldn't be in here. & I replied 'well why does the sign say open & why are the doors unlocked if you're closed?' AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! This location double charges the $35 activation fee. Save yourself time and money by going to a Verizon corporate owned store. This location is an authorized dealer, not an actual Verizon store. Upon calling Verizon directly, they themselves even stated that there's a problem with authorized dealers double charging. They call it an in store setup fee. On top of that you are still required to pay Verizon the activation fee. Even after we asked and agreed to only paying the $35 for two devices, they still refused. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience at this location and will be reporting it! my husband and I along with our baby went here to try to get an answer about a storage problem that I was having with my iPhone 13 ( I've had it for less than a year) that was purchased at this store. We've also been Verizon customers for years (my husband for 27 years). A woman named Psalms was helping us and basically told us that my phone had turned into 'a brick' and there was nothing they could do and her solution was to upgrade to a new phone. We asked to speak to a manager and another male said that they don't have managers, refused to give us his name, and then proceeded to literally tell us to leave. They were SO rude and we've never been treated this way!!! We proceeded to go to the Verizon store in Mt. Prospect and a wonderful gentleman was able to find and fix the problem within 5 minutes. We will be contacting Verizon to let them know of our horrible experience with this location. read more

I have never had a a bad experience at Verizon into I went to this location. Went in to get some tech support advice but they had zero interest in helping at all. Their first and only response was "you're out of warranty, and don't have service protection, but we can buy your device from you and sell you a new device." Each time I said I was there for tech support, not a new device, they went right back to trying to sell me a new phone. Absolutely useless. Don't ever use this location, find a good corporate store where they aren't just trying to make a quick (and possibly unneeded) sale. read more

All I can say for this place is BEWARE! I had a quick question on the phone and the salesperson couldn't get me off the phone faster. I walked in the location and it was like a feeding frenzy. 2 of the 3 staff I could see talking to customers were relentlessly pushing product on them. I mean hard... I think the one guy was afraid to move. Talked to a sales rep. He nearly did anything to keep me in the store short of blocking the door. The deals he was offering were not all that great. BEWARE!!! Stay away from this non corporate store. They are doing illegal transactions. They claim they charge tax but are not disclosing it and I doubt they are paying the tax man my hard earned money. They demand you pay them CASH which is against Verizon Corporate policy and then they charge an additional fee to accept CASH. And then the worker's pocket this cash. They charge you set up fess which Verizon owned stores do not charge. They claim cost of be $X and then it is wrong and they have no idea how to correct their errors. There is alot of double talk from these workers who all claim they are managers so there is no one of authority. This franchise is Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect, Elk Grove, Edison Park and Jefferson Park. Stay away, do not waste your time with them. read more

I honestly have no clue what these other reviews are talking about. I walked into this store and I was blown away by the service I received! The door was opened for me they greeted me with a handshake and I was sat down at a desk. I came in the store to buy a new phone for my daughter not only did I get a new phone for her but I also got a new phone AND my monthly bill was lowered. Apparently at the corporate location I went to they were overcharging me for unlimited data and I had insurance on an old phone that I told them to take off! They explained the whole process and even what the next couple bills will look like. What an amazing experience I had here, anytime I need a new phone or anything Verizon related I will be going to Cellular Sales. They are what all retail stores should strive to be!! read more
