There are many more, but this is my favorite: "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (Taylor Swift) "Ugh, so V calls me up and he's like, 'I know I changed your plan even though I said I wouldn't then I racked up loads of fees that I said I wouldn't and charged you on items I said I'd waive, but I still love you,' / And I'm like... 'I just... I mean this is exhausting, you know, like, We are never getting back together. Like, EVER.'" If Charles & Eddie were Verizon in a song, they would serenade, "Would I Lie to You?" I walked in to Verizon to ask a few questions about there hotspot Internet plans and devices I spoke with a young lady named XENIA and she was very helpful I asked more specific questions and she had her partner & store manager RICKY answer the other questions that I had not only did they work really well together they told me as a business owner I can get A different hotspot device not only did they help me fill out my business account and start me with a new plan they ordered the device for me on the spot and they even gave me the tracking number under 15 minutes, next time you walk into this specific store ask for XENIA & RICKY, Kindness goes a long way read more

Unfortunately we had Marcos help us and left us hanging for 30 minutes to go to his break without telling us or having someone else help us. He was supposed to be helping us with a line transfer which was successful only because I asked someone else to help me otherwise no one came and communicated with us. I also wanted to trade in my phone and Marcos said I had to pay off my phone in order to do so. That information was FALSE after going to a different store with knowledgeable workers who told me i should only pay off half of my phone in order to get a trade in. I went in to upgrade my phone since my old one didnt work anymore and i was working with MARCELLIUS. It was such a huge waste of time even talking to him because he said for an iphone 12 i would be paying $400 PLUS tax (so 400 for whatever accessories he could pile on PLUS the CA state tax of about 100 for the actual phone) RIDICULOUS! When i pointed this out he tried justifying the price because the new iphone 12 box does not come with a charger ir headphones. ARE U KIDDING??! I dont care about that? I have airpods and plenty of chargers that ARE COMPATIBLE with the new phone! Then he tried telling me that my trade in wouldn't qualify for the promotion due to water damage which is understandable but he said he would "LET THE HIT GO TO HIM IF I DIDNT GET IT" so i said ok cool if u can do that then i want it in writing that this is what u will do for me (as i have worked with verizon before and i know that this does not happen in the first place- the customer still takes the hit). Horrible service here at the Verizon wireless store. I came to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon so it's my first interaction with a Verizon customer service rep. Manager Tony is completely incompetent. I came in with my service animal and he came over to me to ask me for his credentials which he called "the card". First of all, according to the Americans with disabilities act, you are allowed to ask 2 questions. 1. Is that a service animal? 2. What service does the animal provide? Well he took it upon himself to tell me that he would have to ask me to leave the store if I didn't provide such credentials because they had an incident. NONE OF MY FUCKING BUSINESS. My dog was calm and collected. I was in the store less than a minute before I was asked to leave. My lawyer is going to have a field day with this one. I didn't know I needed an appointment to receive help and instead of helping secure an appointment for another day he just turned around and walked away. Since I only had my phone for 2 weeks, I went home and called customer service and started the process of returning my phone and going back to my previous carrier. Worst customer service. I went there today 1/18/22. There was no line. They had 3 representatives. All I needed was my PIN number. I tried online and talked to a representative with no help. They advised me to go in person. The earliest appointment they gave me was Sunday 1/23/22 at 11:00. Same day I went to Spectrum to return my modem. Great customer service. Multiple people walked in and service was provided and left within 5 minutes. So what does Spectrum have that Verizon doesn't ? This is one of many encounters I have had with Verizon. This place is horrible. They are scammers and liars. The phone was supposed to be free if the accessories were bought...NOT. I was charged for 2 phones and they opened an additional line of service on my account without authorization. The store would not work with me at all to resolve this and when calling the main Verizon wireless, they would only work with me up to a point. I walked into this location after being a customer of Verizon for two days, the reason for my visit to this location I purchased a new phone and switched carriers. As I walked in I was greeted and asked for my phone and told to have a seat someone would be with me shortly. I took a seat there were two gentleman having a conversation about a jacket one wanted to give the other, conversation lasted about two minutes. After the conversation one of the gentleman walked over to me and asked what brings you in today. The way the question was asked was as if he was just inquiring so that he could make sure the proper person helped me. That was the way I understood it anyway. Once I explain the problem, he immediately told me it wasn't a Verizon problem. It's an Apple problem I explained to him I had just purchased the phone and was told because it was brand new if there were any problems bring it back into the store within 30 days. so I did as I was explaining the Tony started talking over me. I said I'm not even done talking and I'm the customer. How are you talking over me. Then I said better yet can I just have someone else help me because you don't seem like you want to. he then stood next to me and would not walk away. I felt uncomfortable, so I got up and walked away. He follows me and tells me you can leave the store we will not be helping you. I said excuse me, what exactly did I do? I don't want you being rude to any of my employees you can leave, I'm so extremely confused and I stated this, then I said you know what what is the number to corporate he gave me the number and told me I could make the call from outside the store, I did so..... I wound up in Cerritos at the Apple Store to try and resolve my problem, whatever happened at Apple wiped my phone clean phone carrier and all. Against my better judgment I had to go back to Downey to have Verizon connect service. As I walk in two gentleman stood at the entrance one being Tony . I immediately direct all attention to the other gentleman and explain my problem. Tony laughed..... I asked to speak to another associate outside and explain he could very well be looking at some thing on his phone that humored him but it's making me feel like he's laughing at me because I have a problem can you ask him to leave this area the associate goes over to Tony and explained how I felt as a customer Tony never left the area and continue to laugh. Sales associate finished with my phone as I walked out Tony made cat calls at me. I walked back into the store and asked him. Was he serious .i called corporate they gave the number to district manger Jesus. I explained the situation to him he seemed to be sympathetic and apologetic for the experience and told me he would talk to Tony and give me a call the next day he did not call me the next day instead text me and told me that he talked to Tony and gave him good practice and told me that I could call him the next day in text. I we spoke on Wednesday at noon this happened Monday. I finally spoke again with the district manager about the situation on Wednesday after speaking with him I asked him what was the good practice that him and Tony came to an agreement on how to handle customers was what I was told, I was humiliated and disrespected, and asked why I was asked to leave the store he says it was because I was He felt I was being rude. I assume that happened when I asked for another associate to help me. I've been a Verizon customer for a total of five day and Tony manger and Jesus district manager have managed to make me fill like I've made the worst decision ever . This is not at all good practice and if this is what district fills is maybe they shouldn't have there position either. With all the bad reviews, I was kind of apprehensive about going here for a new sim card. Being that it was close to work, I decided to go here because I only needed something that didn't require much time. I arrived about 10 minutes before closing and was immediately greeted by Maximilliano (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and he was able to help me with me getting a new sim card for my new phone that I had ordered. He took the time to install it and made sure my phone was working before I left the store. Not only was he professional, he was also friendly and very courteous. They added a protection plan for my phone without asking if I wanted it. I called and went back in to double check and they said they took it off. BUT it was still charged on my bill. They said they couldn't do anything about it when it was THEIR FAULT. They told me to call customer service and that I would maybe get $3-$4. LIES. These people sold me a new iPhone 14 which happened to completely crash on its own (Never dropped it) exactly on the 30th day after purchase date. The screen did not respond no matter how many times I restart it. I came to this store to get a full refund on the same 30th day and these scammers refused to honor the 30 day refund Policy, even with insurance because they could not view the MPN number on the phone itself. Which is a problem they created. The MPN number is on their Verizon's Servers that's what they use to identify the phone when they first connect it but somehow they have no access to it. Their excuse was simply scammerish and unreasonable, they know these phones come with this major flaw but they refused to do anything about it besides cross their arms and look foolish. This is a total scam, these people now are forcing me to keep the broken phone and keep paying the monthly plan for 2 years even though the phone is garbage. I can't use the phone. But they give me a number to call for assistance? These people are clowns. It's time to boycott Apple and Verizon, these clowns are working together to scam the entire population. read more

Worst customer service! Don't waste your time coming to this location. Their associates don't know what they are talking about. I went in and got "assisted" by marcelious who actually didn't want to do his job & help me with an exchange. He said he couldn't help me with my exchange because I had bought it over the phone therefore I had to process the exchange over the phone. Once I told him that I was told I could be helped with my exchange at any location then he said "I can't exchange the phone because it's open & there's a restocking fee", contradicting right? I didn't care about the re stocking fee I just wanted to exchange my phone that this location had in stock. He again tried to avoid helping me by telling me that he actually didn't have the phone in stock, when I asked him to check his inventory, he seemed bothered. He came out & told me "oh I actually have one in stock". Surprise! surprise! At the end of the day I walked away with no phone & with a bad experience from this associate. I went into the store and I was ready to pick up the iphone X, we were talking about fees that need to be paid before taking it. He mentioned around $225 due now. I asked him I thought only tax and upgrade fee to be charged", the math didn't seem right to me, cause we all know 10% on a $1,000 phone is $100. He had the audacity to tell me that a screen protector was already preinstalled from Apple! LOL , He said "they are specially made for the Verizon store" He even said "well you can substitute other accessories if you do not want the screen protector." What in the world? I almost believed it and told him no I am not paying for something I do not want because I have a protector at home. He gave me another option, He said "we can order it from the warehouse and it will be here tomorrow if you do not want the screen protector." I said no forget I'll handle it myself. I literally drove straight home. Ordered it online for IN-STORE PICKUP for $130 in taxes/fees and drove back to the Verizon store in 1 hour and picked it up. Don't waste your time with this business! Seriously I wish I would have read the reviews before deciding to go with them. For one, reaching a rep in the right department is ridiculous. You'll be redirected over and over and not to mention you're guaranteed to be on the phone at LEAST an hour and that doesn't even promise getting a solution to your call. I started off with a wireless land line and internet. Paid the initial bill of 230. Hooked up the internet and realized it wasn't suitable, returned it and got a higher gig one. Got an initial bill for THAT one of almost 200. That's a total of 430. The second one should of been under the umbrella of the first account since the full initial payment was made. Trying to explain that to a rep and they all act like they have no idea how to fix the problem. Yet I'm still getting charged monthly for both accounts. A total of almost 700 for 2 months!!! That's insane. Oh and did I mention that if they can't help you over the phone they pretend they can't hear you and just hang up on you! Regardless of the fact Verizon is the best phone service in Los Angeles this story must be told: I used to own the Envy Touch. After a while it started to malfunction so I took it into this shop to get it fixed or replaced. Instead of getting it fixed or replaced I entered a vicious circle that went like this: Verizon employee "updates" the phone for 45 minutes - customer picks up phone thinking "updates" will suffice - phone has same problem - irked customer returns to store - employee automatically offers to "update" phone again - irked customer tells employee that phone has already been "updated" - employee offers a refurbished phone - irate customer requests a replacement that is not a refurbished phone - employee says that cannot be done - very irate customer explains that the phone has the exact same problems and that it is not fair he should accept a refurbished phone - employee says that the best he can do is offer refurbished phone - extremely irate customer takes refurbished phone and prays it will work..... Refurbished phone works well for a while but then develops the same problems. Customer gets a pain deep in his stomach and a slight headache. Customer returns to shop. Guess what is next? Yes, employee says phone will be "updated" once again....VICIOUS CIRCLE at beginning of third paragraph resumes. This happens three to four times before employee finally offers employee an upgrade. Customer actually thinks problem will be solved until employee offers a new Envy Touch. Customer becomes irate again. Employee then offers a different model. Customer discovers that he has to settle for something far inferior to Envy Touch but has become addicted to touch phones. Employee offers a Droid. Customer's eyes glow! Customer then finds out just how expensive Droid is. No escape. Customer is offered credit. Customer ends up paying more than he intended and ends up more in debt. It is pretty clear Verizon wants you to get addicted to touch phones and upgrade to more expensive phones by offering a bad touch model that is cheap. UGH!!!! Very frustrating!!!! But what alternative is there? Sadly, there is none... AT&T is far worse.... Especially here in Downey where they have bad reception.... UGH!!!! read more

I'm giving get this 1 star only because I cannot give a lower rating. I've been to this location several times before and it's usually super busy. I went yesterday (9/17) along with my boyfriend to buy him a new phone. Upon arrival the store was busy but had no one waiting besides us. We were not greeted, nor asked to check in with our phone number, all the associates looked up and went back to what they were doing (except for the guy at the cash register, he just continued texting without looking up) We stood there waiting for a few minutes and all the while not one person acknowledged us. Out walks an associate from the back, makes eye contact with me, walks in my general direction then doubles back to talk to the manager. He then walks my way, at right when I think he's going to help us, ANOTHER woman walks into the store and right away he jumps to help her. I couldn't hold my tongue any longer so I spoke up. He said oh I was gonna help you next, I said why next when we've been standing here, being ignored. I said it wasn't right. He tried to argue and my boyfriend just said let's leave, as we were walking out the associate became a smart ass and was like "bye, oh they're leaving"...I called the store to ask for a number to the district manager and the store manager played dumb about everything even though he was there. I stopped by since it's just down the street from my work and since it's convenient picking up eats at the neighboring Rubios/Ono Hawaiian etc First thing I get when I walked in was the ODOR... You know your friend's dog who hasn't been bathed in a while? Yea.. that smell. A $5 air freshener/deodorizer will probably do the trick, if not, get the business to pay for some professional carpet cleaning. There should be a kiosk or employee to sign people in as they come in.. this place is just sorta awkward and you have to wait around for someone to help My iPhone 5's been giving me a bit of trouble with the lock button not really responding well. Takes about 2-4 clicks for it to actually lock/unlock the screen. I knew my eligibility for upgrade date/contract end date was 11/25 which means I should still be under the 1-year warranty. Somehow the rep came up with 11/15 and that I am not under warranty anymore. Upon further investigation, this came up as untrue and the expiration date as 11/25 I had to wait 30 minutes to be helped since there were people ahead of me and when I returned.. I got my order processed and all went pretty smoothly. Also, I was expecting my phone to arrive Friday, but it's actually coming a day earlier. It was just a bit weird that I told them my LOCK button wasn't functioning correctly but she fiddled with my HOME button until I pointed out the right one.. C'mon it's a phone store. I just think there could be more improvements to make the customer's experience better than what it is now. Especially the stink read more
