I went from being told I need a new phone on Del lago to auto parkway where the young man used 3 fingers and tapped twice to bring my phone back to normal. It had zoomed waaay out. Rick Lockridge, the store manager, Verizon in Escondido is a life saver. Not only is he easy to work with, he is willing to jump in and figure out and fix problems even Samsung couldn't. I am so grateful to Rick for making it safe to drive. Samsung's recent update now requires that you carefully and specifically place your finger with just the right amount of pressure on the answer call button covering the entire circle, and swipe in order to answer a call. I always use a headset when driving and my phone is mounted on the dash. Answering a call safely is impossible. Rick was able to find a way to return my answering feature to the way it was - just push the button. I am deeply grateful to Rick for his persistence, kindness and getting the job done! Customers be aware this location is NOT a authorized dealer for Verizon. I found out the hard way. They do NOT follow the advertised service that the Verizon website advertise's. If you order a phone directly thru Verizon and they give you the choice to have your phone delivered to this location to be picked up they have absolutely NO CLUE on the service you signed up for. My phone not only never arrived for same day pick up but when I called after waiting 7 hours (Verizon promises same day pick up within 2 hours) the store employee who answered the phone told me "yes, your phone is here". When I arrived it was in fact the wrong phone for someone else. The store gave me the deer in the headlights look and offered absolutely zero help because they are NOT a authorized dealer for Verizon. The employee who told me my phone had '"gone home". Horrible training and representative of the VERIZON name. And it's just a name, they follow their own rules. read more

Be very careful doing ANY business at this store. There is deception at every turn. Check your receipt BEFORE you pay. You will incur charges that were never explained to you such as insurance for phone protection and screen protection fees - they will get added on and never explained to you. Be careful when you hear, "that's included" as nothing is included - its full price. Nothing is free such as the Samsung Tablet that is offered - free. There are hidden charges designed to suck you in to paying additional costs. Everything you are told should be questioned as this store practices active deception techniques to get you sucked in to a more expensive purchase. Today, I opened a "new" account. I purchased one of the more expensive phones. I was told that the case, screen protector, charger was all included. They put the screen protector on my phone, as it was included! They tried to suck me in to a free Samsung Tablet - just pay for taxes... it's free! They said they were giving me a ton of discounts.... well, at the end of the hour long event - I owed $232. I was a little shocked and asked - so am I paying a month of use in advance, to which Sabrina replied.... no these are just fees for the phone, tax on the phone, and all the accessories. Which were "included" yah.... included in the amount you owe before you leave!!!! Just beware, they is a major lack of honesty going on at this store. Shame on you Sabrina and the other employees that chipped in when I questioned why charges were added that I knew nothing about. Very poor customer service. read more

I had a great experience at this location. The assistant store manager, Benito, went above and beyond to help us. His customer service was outstanding. You can tell he really cares about his customers. He stayed way passed closing time to help us transfer all our data to our new phones, and made sure to explain every single charge in detail so we wouldn't have a surprise on our first bill. I was shopping this afternoon and wandered into the Verizon store. I was immediately greeted by Jennifer and I explained I wanted information about upgrading my phone. She quickly looked up my account and let me know my options for upgrading and then answered EVERY question that I had very professionally. She gave me information on all the latest phones, their features and color choices and very readily gave me pricing for them all. Buying a new phone is a big decision, especially in the spur of the moment, haha, but between Jennifer and the assistant manager, Benito, they were able to patiently and efficiently assist me in making a phone choice I am ecstatic about!!! Went in for a phone upgrade and was also given an ipad as part of a free promotional offer. I asked 4 times, to the point that they were laughing, to make sure there were no other charges or device fees. They said absolutely not, no charges at all, just part of our promotion. Later I noticed I was being charged a monthly fee for payment of the device and extras service charges. I called Verizon to cancel the service but they said I still have to pay for the device. They could do nothing to help as I received it from a store other than Verizon. I called GoWireless 5 times and left messages but was never called back. I eventually got through to the manager who told me he left a message for corporate about it but never heard back. Other reviewers seem to have similar experiences. I would have been happy leaving a good review if this was taken care of. read more

I suppose it goes without saying but, Verizon Wireless are mega-crooks. Corporate is set up to absolutely rob you. Every time over the years we "upgraded" the salesperson has shown us that we were, in fact, saving money and getting better coverage than before. And, every time, the opposite happened. Now, I setup a promise to pay two months in a row. I was billed a reconnection fee of eightyfive dollars for each date for not paying before(?) the agreed dates. I called and complained and was told she could see the promises to pay and the reconnection fees but could not refund the first because of policy. We have been paying over $250.00 a month for years for our family and still we get the corporate, "Oh, you caught us over-charging you, but we can only refund half..." BUYERS BEWARE Once you start, it is hard to quit all family lines at once and start over. they take advantage and you pay, pay, and over-pay. read more

My father came back with his blood pressure up the roof due to the customer service. The lady that helped him charged him for the galaxyh7 phone but gave him the an older model. My dad did not figure this out until the next day when I was reviewing the receipt and looking at the phone. I'm updating my review to two stars after all of my experiences this week. No need for details but I will give you some advice. *Get everything in writing! Keep EVERY receipt! *Insist on explanations if they are selling you something and you feel like there is more to the story than what you've been told. *Once quoted a price, refuse to budge if they are trying to adjust it higher. Every employee will have a different story. *Never take their word for it when they say they will call you. YOU must be proactive in contacting them because you will NEVER hear from them. *Always expect to spend a good amount of time here. You will never get in and out quickly if you need help with anything. *Always triple check any receipt or paperwork they give you. You may find they left something extremely important off like insurance on your brand new phone. *If you want an actual Verizon store, not just a Verizon Retailer then go somewhere else. *The employees are nice here. I've just not had great experience with the store in general. Every single time I'm there they have something going on: Computers are down, One employee forgot their keys so they were Locked out of the store and the other employee is late, inventory is a mess so they have to spend large amounts of time on that leaving one employee to help customer, phone system sometimes sounds like a fax instead of ringing in to the store, etc. read more

A few months back, my husband and I purchased a phone plan from this store under the buy one get one free iPhone 8 promo. The employee who helped us out told us that we should see the deal being reflected in our bill after the first 2 billing cycles. After a few months, with us still being charged for the second phone, I contacted Verizon and was told that we didn't qualify for the buy one get one deal because we were not on an unlimited plan (something that the employee did NOT tell us was required) and that if we wanted it fixed, we would have to go through the store that we went to. I have been trying to get this resolved for the last month, calling and physically going into the store, only to be told their manager is on it or they haven't heard back from their district manager but they would get back to me. Called today and was given the lame excuse, by the MANAGER no less, that they tried calling me the other day but no one picked up...have you guys ever heard of voicemail??? I had no idea it was them who called and like many people, if there's no voicemail, I don't call back. Plus, they could have continued trying to call, text, or email and instead, thought that if I wasn't asking about it every single day, it wasn't worth their time. Finally decided to go over their heads and contacted Verizon directly and have had the issue sorted out in less than an hour. Such a terrible experience with this store, and I'm hoping the new Verizon store they are opening down there does a better job read more

My experience at this store was very positive. I went in to get a new phone and found out they had a trade in deal that gave me 200 bucks for my phone that was worth only $30. Sabrina helped me and said I could use the credit to pay the taxes on the phone and get some other things along with it. I picked up a bluetooth speaker and a case. It was the best promotion I could find right now even though it didn't really help towards the actual price of the new phone (s7). Sabrina seemed to have my best interest in mind, and explained all the changes she made to my bill. I do plan to go back to this store again in the future because of my experience. read more

I read the reviews on this(through google maps, but I felt it only right to post here as well because they saved me so much $ annually and had such phenomenal service!) place and most were terrible. But it did fluctuate over the years. Then I saw the review from FEB 14 2012. I used to be in the wireless industry a long time ago and I can easily say some of these reviews negatively affect the store because of a customers incompetence. Example the guy complaining about insurance... have you ever had insurance where there wasn't a deductible? Car accident, $7,000.00 in damages. $500.00 deductible. You buy a phone on a contract which the company(not the rep) takes a loss on but makes up for it on a 2yr agreement. Example iPhone 4S 16GB is $199.99 with a contract. $700.00 at full retail, no upgrade for 20mo unless you add-a-line(lowest cost with Verizon is $9.99mo). Insurance deductible $150 prepaid insurance(most popular iPhone insurance because its new and not a refurb) $200 for 2years. $150+$200=$350. Cheaper than $700(you save half the price). Anyway. I went in and was Greeted by Danny. He was a great guy. The manager was there(Robert Ramirez) and even though I was being sufficiently helped, greeted me and asked me if he could do anything for me. The fact he took the time to just to greet me and offer assistance blew me away. Turns out the stores under new management because it was suffering with customer service(I have been to other gowireless's in Temecula and have had amazing service. Marlon Meija off of temecula parkway was amazing!). I upfront told them I wasn't interested in buying anything, and that I wanted to lower my bill. They spent an hour in a half diagnosing, adjusting, and giving me options on my bill. I ended up doing a buy one get one free on RAZRS(I had a droid x and an original droid before) and still saved $40 monthly on my bill. They adjusted my rate plan and gave me future guidance on it. They noticed a fluke in the system which caused me an unexplainable spike on my bill for two months in a row. This spike had happened 5months ago. The manager, Robert Ramirez, immediately called customer service while Danny helped me set up my new phones. The spike costed me an extra $83 on my bill total. Robert didn't give up until I got a FULL credit on my bill. I have to say I will never go to any other store! They went above and beyond for me! Even before the RAZRS became a real option. And, unlike most stores, they weren't incredibly aggressive about closing me on the RAZRS, they were more concerned about my happiness and my customer loyalty. I also learned(and the receipt states the policy clearly) all of their chargers, car chargers, and cases have a life time warranty! If it breaks just bring the defective device or its pieces to any gowireless and they will replace it. You don't even need the receipt because their products are labeled. This is the longest review I have ever written, but I feel that this store deserves the accolades for its efforts and its attempt to re-establish business! Please give them a try! You wont be disappointed! read more

First I want to preface with I hold customer service in high regard and base this review solely on that. My wife and I went into the store to upgrade our phones. The staff was all to happy to help us out with the upgrades, but they were also willing to lie to us bold faced. They included a tablet with our purchase, saying we'd only pay tax on it. Come to find out we got charged full price for the tablet, not including access fees. They also told us they were going to wave the disconnect and reconnect fees associated with the new phones, and that was a lie. When I asked them about it, it turned into a a 3 day battle over the phone, and ended with the associate having to call his manager and get authorization to give the $160 back in a credit to the account. He said he was going to do it split into 2 transactions, although he only ever did one. He never returned my phone call after asking him about it. Lastly as part of the whole deal, we wanted to disconnect a third line that was on our account, as we no longer use it. They said no problem and assured us it was disconnected. Nope, still there. And we're talking months later. Do yourself a favor and find an actual Verizon store rather than waste your time here. And above all else, avoid Fransico. **Edit** Shortly after posting my review, I was contacted by a manager from this go wireless location named Mailani. She saw my review and wanted to check in and see what the story was. I let her know everything that had happened and she immediately apologized and explained that the place was without any real management at the time of my business there. She told me that she was going to take care of everything that was promised to me, and she did just that. She gave me my missing credit for the fees, as well as credit for the tablet. She was very sincere and professional in how she handled me, and it speaks volumes about the turn around in customer service they are trying to make. I can't give 5 stars due to my previous dealings, but I can give them a 3 star review and I do intend to try them out again and that is all thanks to Mailani. read more

I had a cracked screen. Received service from Asurian, Verizon's repair company. They fixed the screen, however, once the tech left, I found that the phone no longer would make/receive calls or texts. With no phone access, I drove to Verizon store for help. Benito and Brian were super helpful! They tried several options to get my phone working again, but in the end, Asurian decided to ship out a new phone, which won't arrive until at least 7pm tomorrow. I didn't want to be without a phone, so I went home and got an older phone and came back. They helped get the old phone reconnected and offered to help me tomorrow when my new phone arrives.
