I was randomly connected to her by phone call to her workplace at Service Electric Campbell Drive location in Wilkes-Barre, yesterday. She has a pleasant talking voice. My informed decision to switch from Frontier to Service Electric (SECTV) is thanks to Marilyn's knowledgeable communication skills. She offered me full explanations of download speeds ranging from 50 Mbps to 2,000 Mbps. This employee deserves to be recognized not only by me, but by her Supervisor at Service Electric, for the friendly-service she provides customers. SHE CARES!

I decided to go with Xfinity (which was much cheaper and included internet) and called Dish to cancel And all of a sudden they could cut my bill in half and they quoted me $62 a month to keep it.... First of all every time there was a snow storm. I had to attach the handles of brooms onto other poles so I could knock the snow off the Dish outside my home up on he roof in the middle of a snowstorm. Also, when it rains heavily, you know you're going to lose your connection so if you're recording something it doesn't record and it's horrible. I am so happy I went with Xfinity. They also have hoppers so I didn't know that it doesn't have to be hardwired in each TV when I called Dish and told them I was Disconnecting the service I was told I had to actually climb on a ladder and get the nodes off the actual dish to return it or else I would be charged for not returning the equipment . I asked them don't they come and take the dish off the house and collect whatever they need to and they said no they don't but they never tell you that when you sign up for Dish they do not disclose that! It is a big scam. Do not use this service and when I look around my neighborhood now and I do see Dish satellites attached on peoples houses. I noticed the nodes are missing, which means they canceled their service as well........BEWARE! I would give it zero stars if I could!

So now I am going to have to pay to watch Walking Dead. I just paid to watch Breaking Bad as well. Replacing these channels with others that do not even come close to measuring up is unacceptable. I will not only NOT recommend Dish network to any of my friends or colleagues, but when we move I will NEVER return as a Dish customer. I WILL ALSO BE DEDUCTING THE COST OF HAVING TO DOWNLOAD THESE TWO SHOWS BECAUSE OF THIS DECISION. Greedy, corporate nonsense makes me sick.
