bottom line: I recommend people to NOT get 5G or 7G…read more i have been paying for 5G service since it was started in my area and initially it was great. over the last month or so i have not been seeing higher than 3G. normally around 2500. had a tech come out and determine that the problem was in the backend (frontier gateway or beyond). The tech stated he had to create an internal ticket and so the ticket system closed the ticket. I am now going through many people trying to get support from someone that knows more than "reboot your router". I am thinking of downgrading to 2G since they seem to know how to support that speed. I recommend people to NOT get 5G or 7G

However, I learned that the eero 6 was not physically capable of reaching two gigs through a wired connection as one port on the device is limited to 1 gig. I contacted Frontier to request a router that is capable of the 2 gigs, which they eventually agreed to. Frontier tried to sell me 5 gigs even though I couldn't receive/use the 2 gigs I was paying for. I told them that I would be downgrading my service to 1 gig if the equipment wasn't provide. I also spoke with their technician that confirmed the equipment would not provide 2 gigs using ethernet cables. Knowing this, I'm not sure how they believe the router would deliver 2 gigs wirelessly as that isn't the case even if you hold the router in one hand and your phone/laptop in the other. I then requested a refund/credit for the time frame that I'd paid for the 2 gig service since I was limited to 1 gig by the equipment they provided. Frontier refused stating the equipment is capable of 2 gigs. It is limited to 1 gig wired and 1.6 gig wireless.

AT&T Internet - The mess that was left after digging up my lawn. No sod replaced, 2 sprinkler heads still buried, and won't take responsibility.

AT&T is awful. I had AT&T for several years, but in recent years, they could not keep my Internet…read moreworking. They would schedule a time for a tech to appear, then not show up. Most annoying, AT&T's so-called "Virtual Assistant" schedules stuff and dialogs with customers, but it's an outright liar. I waited for a tech one day during the 8 - 12 window Virtual Assistant gave me. Virtual Assistant kept texting me "we're late but we're on the way" for over FOUR HOURS. When it was obvious the tech did not show up, I texted "When are you coming?" Virtual Assistant answered, "We can help you with that." The next day, Virtual Assistant texted "Your repair is complete." I replied, "I don't believe you." Virtual Assistant replied (again) "We can help you with that." Total incompetence. I switched to Spectrum. After I terminated AT&T, they emailed me a "How did we do?" inquiry. I answered it, and a couple of weeks later I received the same inquiry. AT&T's downfall is its stupid automated communications. The nice thing about Spectrum is that they have live people there to answer the phone and their answers are helpful.

They want to charge me $150 for something I have NO control over. They want the modem returned which I would be glad to do but NOT a possible and according to then I am NOT to remove it and my landlord says it will not be removed. I ask who is going to pay for damages if my landlord charges me. So eighter way I am getting charged for something I can't control. They refused to have their tech come out and remove since he should have never attached to the wall in the first place according to AT&T. I have included pictures and their policy?

I was…read morethrilled to learn they were delivering equipment the day of my move in so that I could have internet set up. I placed the order on 9/10 and I was moving 9/20. Although I must admit I was a little trepidatious, I confirmed my order the next day where I was made to feel comfortable and confident that my order would indeed show up on the date of my move in! I just needed to wait for the shipping order and I could track it, no problem. As the day to my move in got a little closer I began to get a little nervous I wouldn't have my equipment. Luckily I talked on chat and on the phone 2 days before my move in where I was reassured I would be receiving my equipment on the day of my move in. Thank goodness. You see, I normally have little faith or success in people doing jobs I pay for or telling the truth about services. Luckily, Spectrum assured me they were different. Perhaps my outlook on life was mistaken, and maybe this company was reputable and did what they said they would do after all! Silly, grumpy, doubting, me. I need to have a more optimistic outlook on life. Moving is always especially stressful so I'm glad this company has my back. Today, the day before the move in, I received that confirmation tracking email. Relieved and assured I happily opened the email to find that everything every single customer service representative (4 different ones) had told me was indeed a lie and I was right to be apprehensive. My equipment is now being delivered days after the move in, surprising me in the least. Just another company lying to their customers and refusing to do their jobs. Thanks Spectrum, for absolutely nothing. 0 out of 5 stars.
