I wouldn't pay this damn much for a piece of glass normally but the manager here said convinced me to go ahead and purchase it, because he stated that I could "come on in and they'll replace it for me on the spot." Now that it's cracked; they are claiming that their policy changed and that I would need to file with the screen protector company on my own (this takes about 3 weeks to arrive + a shipping charge of $10). Long story short, terrible business practices here borderline illegal. False advertising. Salesman disregarded me to use amazon so he could make a $60 sale on a screen protector. I'm not even going to file the warranty bc in my experience (I've ordered over 3 with my iPhone 7 a few years ago) it takes about a month and they charge a shipping cost that is more than a brand new pack of 3 from Amazon. Will file complaint with BBB and corporate. Never been scammed like this from a Verizon. WHAT A JOKE. In my opinion, the manager should at least honor one by filing the claim in store and covering shipping AT THE VERY LEAST. JUST ONE TIME AT LEAST. I REFUSE TO PAY $70+ for a screen protector. I came to this store today intending to upgrade all four lines on our family plan. My husband asked a question and was instructed to look up our plan on the My Verizon app. Well first of all, if I wanted to serve myself I would have just stayed home and ordered phones directly from Apple. But we pulled up the app and found our answers. The general vibe from the guy helping us was pretty bad. He obviously couldn't care less if we were there or not. Then we noticed the other customer in the store that was already at the cash register had no mask on, at all. We're outta here. Bad attitude plus not enforcing masks (covid time) forget it. We told the worker and he just shrugged. You know what we did? Switched all four lines to T-Mobile right across the street, where they were happy to serve us, had a cheaper plan, and fully enforced the masks. Done deal. read more

Probably one of the worst Verizon stores I've ever been to. The customer service is horrible! The staff know nothing about Verizon, they don't care about helping customers at all. They sit in the store and literally just stare at you until you go away. Last couple times I went they make me feel like I'm bothering them. I will never go back to this store! read more

I had a defective iPhone still under warranty so Verizon shipped me a replacement phone. I knew I couldn't transfer everything from my defective phone to replacement phone on my own-and at this point I'd been without a phone for 3 days so i took my defective and replacement phones and went into my local Verizon store on State College in person to seek help. Much to my pleasure, it was the same employee, Chris, who had helped me awhile back when my phone got stolen! Chris is by far the most knowledgeable and friendly employee I have ever encountered at ANY Verizon store! Not only did he completely solve my problem and transferred my entire phone while I waited-but he did the same for another customer too. With a smile on his face as well. He didn't let me leave the store until I had all of my questions answered and checked my phone to make sure everything was there. I hope Verizon knows how fortunate they are to have Chris managing this store, because I have never had a bad experience anytime I've gone in there. read more

I usually don't comment on company's, but I just had a bad experience with this store. I went in one day to get information on upgrading my iphone. The manager explained that I can get up to a$400 credit on my new phone with my upgrade. All I had to do was pay the remaining balance of $200 on my old phone. I did't get it that day so I returned a few days later for my upgrade. I was there for about 3hrs. The rep made a mistake apparently she used someone elses upgrade on my account and I wasn't able to pay the remaining balance on my old phone and said I will get billed. I told her how can I get billed if I want to pay it now so I can give my old phone and get the credit. She was on the phone for a while with their corporate trying to undo it. It took for ever and I told her I had to go. We've been there for hours. She said she was going to call me to update me and she did but she pretty much told me the same thing. She told me to wait to get billed. So a month passed and I got the bill, I paid it off and till this day I haven't gotten credit for my old phone. I've had Verizon for years and I've never experienced such confusion. I will definitely start going to a corporate store. Plus the girl was on her phone most of the time we were there waiting on the counter. You can clearly see she was messaging people back and forth. Very unprofessional. read more

Came here earlier today to get a new phone, having had lost my old one. The service here is phenomenal compared to other Verizon locations I have been to. Jeremy was extremely patient in answering my questions, knowledgeable about the products, and willing to walk me step by step through the process. He explained all the plans & relevant info to me in concise detail, and even went as far as to offer suggestions on which cases would look nice with my gold Samsung Galaxy 7 :) With his professionalism & touch for people, you can count on Jeremy w/ a big decision like getting a new phone! I experienced issues sending text messages to only one contact in my address book, so I made an appointment with Jay, the store manager, to troubleshoot. We contacted Tech Support and when those troubleshooting instructions didn't resolve the issue, Jay had me delete my contact, then re-enter the info, which solved the text messaging issue. Visited this location right before the holidays looking to buy a phone for my husband. As expected, there were several people in the store shopping for Xmas so it was a bit crowded. Despite all of that, I was politely greeted and told I'd be helped shortly. I was finally helped by Jeremy and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the plans and different products they had. It was definitely worth the wait and he didn't rush the process at all. He took the time to answer all my questions and made the purchase easy and hassle free! And we all know that buying a phone can be very stressful at times...but Jeremy was very helpful! This place LIES!! Becareful what they promote to you and what they actually have you sign. I wanted them to add a line to an existing line and they ended up starting a whole new line. I didn't notice until i got my first phone bill and ended up spending hours with a Verizon Wireless customer rep to sort it all out. They also had a promotion that if you stay connected paid your bills ontime for the first 3 months they would send you a 50 dollar gift card. I filled out and provided all the proper documents and had it postmarked before the offer expired. That was in July of 2010 and i still haven't gotten my gift card and its the end of january 2011. This place is a rip. Don't get conned! By the way, i noticed that there is only one review other than mine though i have seen previously a handful of others that had the same issues with this place, i wonder what happened to their reviews..hmmmmm... BBB should be notified of these practices taking place here, defintely NOT LEGIT!! read more

WARNING....NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, BUY SOMETHING FROM THIS STORE....DON'T EVEN BOTHER WALKING IN THE DOOR!!!! Can I give them zero stars? They mislead you about the charges to get you to buy a phone, and then when they complain about the charges, they essentially tell you to get lost. Horrible....horrible...horrible....did I say they were horrible? CAL STATE FULLERTON STUDENTS BEWARE -- AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! I sent my college student here to buy a new cellphone because it is near the Cal State Fullerton campus...what a terrible MISTAKE!!! They lied about the charges to him to get him to purchase a new smartphone there (he had never purchased a smartphone before), then when I discovered they charged him for a SIM card that they never told him they were charging him for [WHO the heck separately charges for a SIM card for a smart phone????] and called them to complain, they refused to rescind the charge, and said they would charge a $100 "re-stocking fee" if we tried to return the phone there. After they sold the phone, they refused to help him transfer the information from his old phone to his new phone. Now I just checked my Verizon account online, and I see they screwed up the service plan order as well, which I now must correct myself. I cannot emphasize how BAD this store and their clerks are....their attitude is unprofessional and confrontational, customer service means nothing to them, and you will regret ever buying anything from them. Do yourself a favor....go ANYWHERE ELSE to buy a cellphone or a cellphone plan than here!!!!! I've bought all my cellphones at the "big box" store that has the initials BB, other than this phone, and trust me, the big store is a lot more honest, cheaper, and dedicated to customer service than this place. read more

Avoid this store at all costs and go to a legit corporate store like the one on Harbor and the 91. Went in here today to upgrade a device and they tried to stick an extra $210 in-store phone charge on top of the regular financing and upgrade cost. Said they could hook us up and drop this $210 fee to $150 to help us out. Plus they could throw in some free accessories. Called the corporate Verizon store who said they don't charge that fee at all. Turns out this Verizon store is able to charge these extra fees because they are an "authorized retailer" and not a legit corporate store. SMH read more

Was having a little problem with my new 4s so I thought I would stop by since it was right next to school, and I am not the greatest when it comes to new electronics. Both consultants were busy, but they told me I would be helped shortly. Within a couple of minutes Michael was able to assist me. We went online together, and within 5 minutes we found the problem, fixed it, and I have not had a problem since. Oh, and by the way, the 4s is a great phone, but I digress! Never again will I go to this place. When I came here, I was told that I would get a cheaper monthly payment if I upgrade my account, change my phone, and other discount that was supposed to be included. Two months went by, I noticed my payments were still high before I upgraded. I went to the corporation store and found out which I did not know about: 1. My discount was not included 2. I was not informed that I am required to changed my plan to The More Everything Plan in order to upgraded to Edge Program. 3. I did not get any credit back for the other phone I turned in that was already paid in full. Now, I am stuck either paying high in monthly payment, until I pay off my phone completely or pay off my phone in full amount (over $500) in order for me to go back to the old plan I like. Be warned, these people can be pushy and do thing without giving you a chance to contest. Also, they will sugarcoat you with something so you can stay with them or they will fight back with attitude if you want to return your phone (even though you have 30 days to return it the day you purchased your phone). Not only that, before all of this happened, I brought my new cellular iPad there and informed the staff there that I would like to share (link up) my plan between iPad and iPhone. Then the day I got fooled for upgraded my account and turned in my phone, another staff there told me I did not set up a share plan between iPad and iPhone. She say I created another line for my iPad. Overall, those people cannot be trusted and will try to find a way to get you stuck with them. I wish I should have listen to the other customer, who came out of that store in angry with his family, and warned me to stay away from that shop. I came to this store to purchase a new cell phone. The lady that sold it to me (I think her name is Cassandra, but I'm not sure) told me there was a promotion and I would get a tablet for free with my phone. She then added a new line to my plan for the tablet without telling me I was starting a new contract for that line. Also, She never mentioned my bill would go up. A few days after , I went back to the store to return it. The guy who was there said they could not accept it, and assured me my bill would stay the same because I had gotten the tablet in a promotion. That was a lie. I went to this store to get a phone for my son. They tried to stick me with an added bundle of products for $100. They tried to make me think it was mandatory and necessary for maintaining the factory warranty. Then, the guy said he was going to remove the car charger and whatever else but keep the $50 screen protector to help me out. He just needed manager approval. Uh...NO! I was disappointed. I bought my phone here 2 years ago and got great service. There is new staff there and they're all about selling you stuff you don't need to make a buck. I came in here today and was immediately greeted and offered help by all three associates. The specific associate that had helped me through the whole process (leaving my old family plan to get my own), was named Alex. He was very personable, and honest with how I could save while getting everything that I needed (and more). He instantly made me feel comfortable and explained every aspect of what my new contract would entail. He answered every single question with a smile and we were even able to share some laughs despite the small issue in which occurred (which was my mother leaving before finishing the verification step all the way through & me having to leave the store to track her down). HORRIBLE SERVICE HERE!! Don't go here ! I ordered a phone online and set up as a new member Wednesday, they said it would be ready Thursday. I got the email from them the next day at 1pm saying it was ready so after work (keep in mind I didn't have a phone for the whole week prior and had set up my line online) I got to the store Thursday evening and the one dude that "helped" me tells me that "Customer service canceled my order at 3pm and it was picked up at 4pm" which was the biggest lie ever cause when I finally got time to call customer service to get my $69 back they said THE PHONE WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME and it wasn't canceled until FRIDAY AT MIDNIGHT so the dude at the store lied and the other employee I could see the fear in his eyes because he wouldn't even help me when the other dude went to help a lady and he didn't even have a customer !!! MANAGER NEEDS TO BE ON SITE AND DO HIS JOB AND HELP THE CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY NEED IT BECAUSE WE DONT WANT TO HEAR "IM sorry it's out of my hands" when he was lying to me in the first place !!! read more
