Covid review: This location requires a mask and they did not let me in, someone came outside and asked me what I needed help with. When I told them to open another line? I was able to come in. This could get kinda long...Five solid stars! I have been a BlackBerry devotee since 2001. I purchased a replacement brand new BlackBerry Classic through Amazon. The Classic I had was four plus years old and two keys had to be jerry-rigged with a dab of silicone to function (as you can see in the photo). To charge it I had to resort to strapping a rubber band around the cable and stretch it up over the phone so it would connect - been doing this for six months - ugh! I read and researched the recent BlackBerry Key2 release and just could not bring myself to commit (yet). The sim card wouldn't actuate on the new replacement phone so I took it in. I waited prolly thirty minutes and was seen by The "Solution Manager" Wael Emara. I would think his title would read "Solutions Manager" as I'm sure he provides multiple solutions for multiple people right? But lemme tell you why the title is dead on. Mr. Emara was focused so intently on providing the one solution I most needed - A Sim Fix by The Solution Manager! Browsing all the latest tech gear and accessories while I waited was amazing. The store was clean, the Associates were all professional and the vibe was peaceful and relaxing as the chairs were comfortable. After calling Verizon to cancel my fios service they confirmed any location can take the router back. I arrived at this location and they refused to take it back. I called Verizon and they stated they should take it. After having the verizon employee on the phone tell the store employee that they still refused to take the router. Do not come here. read more

I am pleased with the service here, although we were 17th in line and had to wait an hour and half on a Saturday. I imagine Verizon is overwhelmed with customers and are unable to handle to demand. When we walked in there were two employees chatting away. I'm glad that Verizon is paying them top dollar (part of my top dollar given the hundreds I fork over yearly for spotty service) to stand there and chat while there are 17 customers waiting. The store was clean, orderly, and had a manager (lanky bald man) on site to expedite those waiting in line. The customer service rep was able to handle my phone issue rather quickly but was forced to wait 30 minutes on the phone waiting for someone in the tech department to deactivate/reactivate a phone---even with her employee number punched in (which, you'd think, would speed up the process, but nope). read more

TOTAL FAIL. Placed order for delivery of router and TV boxes. Made appointment for in-home tech support. 1. Technician failed to show for appointment today. 2. Customer service found no appointment when I called, although I made the appointment with a live tech support person. 3. After multiple calls,spoke with Tyesha. All talk, and no real action. Did not help with today's appointment. Failed to call back at time she said she would call back to see if issue was resolved. Offered a small discount on a $99 tech support appointment. Original appointment made was free of charge. Wasted my time mouthing platitudes. Sent me back to tech support, which did nothing. 4. Called customer support back. Lisa also could not help with appointment, and was unable to provide me with the location of a UPS store for the return of the new equipment after telling me that not all locations will take Verizon equipment boxes. Huh? 5. Received random texts from Verizon all day referencing an upcoming Monday appointment that did not exist, although I repeatedly kept replying that I had not made this appointment. 6. Re-packaged equipment and sent back via nearby UPS, which gladly accepted the package. Yay, UPS! Sent Verizon picture of UPS label to make random texts about non-existent appointment stop. 7. Complete WASTE OF EIGHT HOURS dealing with this. Reallly no point in contacting Verizon, waiting half an hour or making any appointments. 8. BASICALLY--MY TAKE AWAY IS USE ANY OTHER COMPANY EXCEPT VERIZON!!! There is no real way to reach them on the phone. They will not help. I recently had to buy a new phone, as my existing phone no longer supported my hearing aids. I explained all this to the salesperson. She insisted that a motorola phone was what I needed. Also, that once I opened the box for the phone, there was a $50 dollar charge to re stock. I did open the box, I made it clear, I wasn't leaving until all the info etc from my old ph had been installed on my new phone- and that I was headed out of town for business the next day. Also, I tried to pair my hearing aids to the new phone, in the presence of the salesperson, and they would not work, The salesperson knew that the new phone was not compatible , before I left the store . The store manager made an issue out of my wanting to buy a less expensive case from ( best buy etc..) this after I told him of my specific needs, he never asked if I was getting the phone I needed, just kept on about my wanting to save money. That eve, I confirmed that my new ph. would not work with my hearing aids, and tried to call the store( during normal hours) and there was no answer- just a voice menu that kept connecting me to the store, but no one answered. The following week, was able get assistance from the Verizon Corp office, over the phone, the agent told me that the salesperson, should not have let me leave the store, knowing that the ph did not work with my hearing aids, also they waived the $50 return fee, send me a shipping label to return the new phone and expedited a new samsung phone which does work with my hearing aids, I will never shop at this Verizon store again, if you go there- make sure you get what you need, read more

Not a very good store. I would only go here if no other verizon stores are nearby, but otherwise I suggest going to those instead of here. Customer service is not up to par. Nobody greets you as you arrive; there are not enough workers. Had to ask them to help put my screen protector on, no big deal. More like 1.5 stars... It's become somewhat of a tradition for my sisters and I to go get our cell phones together whenever we are due for an upgrade. Last Friday, we went to the Verizon Wireless store to get ourselves the new Galaxy S4. Unfortunately, we were met with more than an hour wait. One suggestion I would make would be to offer proper seating (there was a single bench full of people) if you are expecting customers to wait for more than an hour. There were people sitting on the floor for heaven sake. Or maybe offer to call people on their Verizon Wireless phones so they can go out and get something to eat and return. Finally, when we were helped our salesperson tried selling us everything in sight. Yes, I know it's your job to make suggestions to purchase cases and what not, but after the first "no," please don't be pushy. I bought a case, screen protector and car charger, but my sisters didn't see any cases they liked. After only buying one case our salesperson tried selling us fitness devices to go with our new phones. He should be glad that I didn't think anything of it as other customers may have been offended (i.e.: if I'm not asking for any fitness device, are you trying to insinuate that I'm fat?) Next, he tried bundling our bills with our cable bill (we don't have Fios in our area) and tried asking if we had a tablet...we didn't bring it with us...and asked us a million questions on both...I wasn't about to go back and forth with him on whether Fios was in our area or not or what model iPad we had... The last straw was when I asked him if he could put the screen protectors I had purchased on our phones. I bought one pack that had 3 screen protectors and keep in mind I have had this service done in the past by other sales reps. in this same exact store. I thought that he would have some type of expertise in this area (or knew someone in the store that did since they work with mobile devices everyday) to put on a close to perfect screen protector with little to no bubbles but I was wrong. The screen protector on my phone looked like a 4 year old put it on. All I'm saying, is if he wasn't confident in his skills, he should have told me and I could have put in on myself. When I mentioned the bubbles underneath the screen protectors he put on, the only remedy he offered was for me to purchase additional screen protectors after HE was the one that screwed them up in the first place. There he goes, trying to up-sell us again. All in all, it was quite the disappointing experience. After waiting for more than an hour, all we wanted to get our phones in a somewhat time effective manner got given the opposite. Granted, our sales rep wasn't rude per se, but he definitely didn't have the customer's time in mind when pushing all those products... After Eric (manager) assured me last month that outstanding charges to my account would be taken care of, I received a phone call and a bill from Verizon today that they added another $35 to my outstanding charges for restocking fee. Reminder: this is for a device that I have never used and returned within 2 days of receiving it. I tried calling back to the store today (Sunday afternoon around 4pm) and was hung up each time I pressed option 3, in-store sales associate. I tried a different cell phone and got the same result. Ended up calling the 1800 number, and Cathy zeroed out my balance in 10 minutes. She also verified no manager put in notes or updated my account. I can't believe the hours I wasted at this store location. Rest assured, I have no problem spending 10 minutes to write this review if it can save other people hours of frustrations. read more

My mom went to pay her bill and received horrible service from the location. She asked several times for help and she was just directed to the machine to pay, she doesn't speak English and didn't understand how to use it and nobody took the time to help her. She mentioned employees just walking around the store not busy with customers yet again no one helped her until she called my dad and complained to him loudly that someone went up to her to offer help. Now, I understand this job is all about sales but you can't take the customer service out of your job duties because you never know when a customer paying a bill can turn into a sale. We get horrible service every time we show up with a question or anything that's not related to a sale. I bought my daughter's Mophie case/charger at this Verizon Wireless store in October 2014 while she was home on fall break. She goes to school in New Orleans. Her Mophie stopped working yesterday so I called the store and spoke to Tyronn about my options. His customer service skills were EXCEPTIONAL! We figured out the best way to replace it was for her to simply exchange it in New Orleans, since it's still under warranty. Tyronn looked up our account and figured out which model she has. Then he spoke to his manager to confirm that this was acceptable. Tyronn even took the time to find out which store was closest to her school and he provided the address and telephone number so she could figure out how to get there since she doesn't have a car. End up waiting over an hour and in that time people who came in after me are being served. Then the guy before me ("William") got fed up waiting an hour and fifteen minutes and said to take him off their list and walked out, they never did and called "William" and took a different guy who showed up after me again! This is the second time this year that I was sold the wrong item by an employee at this store. In February 2020, I was sold the incorrect charger for an Apple iPad. I took the iPad to the store to be sure I received the correct charger. Today, September 17, 2020, I was sold an incorrect charger for my new iPhone. The charger cord has the wrong adapter piece for my iPhone. It will not fit into the charger opening. It is frustrating and annoying to have to return to the store to exchange the charger since I don't live nearby that Verizon Store. The staff need better training. They also need to pay more attention to detail. Maybe they should hang up pictures that describe what chargers are compatible with what iPhone. read more

There seems to be a pattern here... If I could give ZERO stars I would! I purchased a phone 4 days ago from this retailer. My old phone broke (my fault), I had no insurance (also my fault) So I paid full retail $599.95 No Problem. Since day one the new phone is typing and dialing on its own (Samsung S5). I saw numerous posts online where this is a problem with a number of customers. I returned the phone today, very simply stating I paid full retail, and the phone NEVER worked correctly. I requested a different model since I have no faith in a replacement with another S5 due to the bad reviews. I was forced to pay a $35 restocking fee, which the manager refused to waive. Obviously, since I am willing to pay $599.95 for the phone, it's not about the $35. It's the principle of customer service. I have been a Verizon customer for over 8 years. This is not how you treat a loyal customer. The lack of concern by the employees and Management at this store is ridiculous. They will no longer get my business. read more

This Verizon store has very good waiting time service. Initially I switched from t mobile to Verizon and bought new phones. I was told to buy the Hum car system because they have a promotion. They told me try it for 30 days or return it. I got it and try to return it, but I was told that I have to pay restocking fee of $100. The unit wasn't either activated or used. Nobody told me about the restocking fee when I bought it. I spoke with managers Waal and Joe, explaining that nobody told me about the fee, but they insisted to charge me. If you like being served by a bunch of cocky teenagers, definitely check this store out. The staff at this store are basically a bunch of arrogant, wanna-be hipsters. They were just generally rude and unhelpful (and apparently not able to speak in complete sentences either). Went with my mom here to help her get an upgrade. She inquired about getting the absurd $40 "upgrade" fee waived (AT&T does this for me all the time). The staff could have just been polite and said something like "Sorry, we don't have that capability." Instead, they were rude and kept mumbling something about how they have to pay it too. When I mentioned that AT&T regularly waives my upgrade fee, one of the clerks spent 5 minutes googling around to try and prove that AT&T does in fact charge an upgrade fee (instead of actually helping the customer). When he shoved his giant phone in my face to show me what he found on Google, I reiterated that I know they charge a fee, but that AT&T waives the fee sometimes for loyal customers. My mom and I were so horrified by their behavior (seriously, the two male staff we were dealing with acted like we were almost bothering them to inquire about a new phone; one never stopped playing around with his own phone), we said we were going to leave and go over to the AT&T store in the same shopping center. As we walked out, one of the little twerps said in a snotty voice, "well when you come back here to get your phone, you'll have to sign in again." And that was how a new AT&T customer was born. If you have any questions about the differences in these two stores, go to each (they are about 300 feet apart from one another) and check out the wait times. At Verizon, we were able to be seen immediately because the store was basically empty. At AT&T, there was a 40 minute wait. Because they are nice and actually have customers. read more

A loyal customer of Verizon but this branch is out of the norm horrible! My stepdad who is accustomed to doing things in person decided to go in the store to activate his new-old phone, a Motorola Q9C -- which I had verified three times over (confirmed with HQ and checked with the good ol' Net) this phone did not require a data plan. He waited in the queue for ~an hour, only to be inaccurately told that he was required to add a data plan to his line. This shocks me because how, with the wealth of their *own* resources, can they still be so misinformed? My deduction is laziness and/or idiocy. I called the store and spoke with a half-awake "A.J/Jay." I'll refer to him as A.J. henceforth. I wasn't sure if I was talking to a machine or a person considering his inability to understand my question after explaining and repeating the issue for over two minutes, literally. Misunderstandings happen but it should be in A.J.'s interest not to respond, "so what do you want from me?" Anyway, A.J., who reluctantly gave me his name after I told him I will ask HQ to call him and educate him because he is obviously new or just working an ill-fitted job, finally decided to crunch some keys. Still, he came back with the same answer that it is a smartphone and therefore needs a data plan. Funny, because I recall smartphones have SIM cards! I decided to call *611 to resolve this instead of taking a trip to Hell myself. Completed in less than 5 minutes, the lady was notably courteous and comical.
