These are the dumbest people I have ever encountered. Went in with a minor problem. After rep worked on my phone for over an hour he could not solve the problem. He continually tried to sell me an upgrade which I declined. Finally he said if I did the upgrade I would be out of there in 10 minutes. That was 8 days ago, 4 trips to Verizon store, 1 trip to Apple store and 2 calls to Apple customer service. I still do not have all of the old information on my phone updated. These people will not help you, they just want to upsell on something you don't need. The shame is I am a 25 year Verizon customer and I pay Verizon over $600 per month. read more

Verizon has taken away warranty on new iPhones but more sponsors are in your email by Verizon that you are not interested in their products and you have to click on them to remove. I guess if you click on their business it appears they are popular? read more

I've had four separate interactions with the staff this week and each was exceptional. Called up two days ago to ask how I can go about purchasing a phone at the store with the new COVID restrictions and spoke with Rubin. Rubin graciously explained the safety measures and answered some questions. After chatting with him briefly, I ran down to the store to select my new phone. During the interaction in the store, Rubin continued to be as helpful, knowledgeable and courteous as I could possibly expect. Ordered my phone and happily went on my way. Received a follow up call the next day to let me know that my phone was on the way. Just another display of excellent customer service. Today we picked up the phone and Jay assisted us with transferring our data, and wrapping up the purchase. Again, professional, helpful, and friendly. I have fairly high standards for customer service. It's important to feel positive about your shopping experience, especially when you're purchase is an investment. Rubin and Jay both struck me as exceptional representatives of this store and brand, providing the kind of service that creates a loyal customer for their brand and store location. At this point, I would go out of my way to shop at this location knowing that the environment is a great one to be in. read more

Stay Away! Went in to exchange my Samsung S21 Ultra for a Samsung S24 Ultra. The manager Mizra who was very personable, talked me into a Samsung S22 Ultra saying how much better the s22 that he has the s24 and loved the S22. I bought it. I researched the S24 and its is supposed to be so much better than previous model , better battery life longer life of the phone . I called first thing Monday morning to return the phone and get S24. Mike answered said Mizra is off to come in Tuesday Couldn't come Tuesday so I said I want it exchanged Monday . He said Im new here if I do it Ill mess up your account . He said it in a very rude tone . I had to wait until 3 Not convenient to me for someone to help me . I went in , It was Mizras brother ..he was very nice and exchanged my phone . I asked abut my S21 that I exchanged and if the credit was on there . He charged a $50 restocking fee . He said I could call Mizra on Tuesday to get a credit. for it and ask him about everything with credit etc . Come t find out he charged my credit card $59 instead of $50 !! I called the business 2 times on Tuesday left messages and called today Thursday ...no answer again . They are not picking up my calls calling back!!! Terible customer service !! I posted this same review on google, but want to make sure everyone thinking about going to this store understands the risk they are taking, so I am posting it again here: I have read dozens of reviews saying how wonderful and helpful the workers at this Verizon wireless are, in particular Jay. I understand why so many people think so - Jay (Jerise) comes off as very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. However I was completely scammed by them, and after a full year I realized that there will be no compensation, so I am writing this review to warn other customers. In January of 2020, I went in to upgrade my phone. I had an iPhone SE in perfect condition that was at least 3 years old (no cracks or dings at all). I wanted to upgrade to the XS, and Jay told me there was a deal/promotion going on for that phone, where $400 would be applied toward my monthly bill as long as I turned in my old phone to their Verizon store. So I turned in my SE and bought the XS. I put down $490.10 that day because I wanted my phone bill to stay the same as with my SE, and I calculated out with Jay's "help" that if I put $490.10 down, with the promotion of $400 it would come out to the same monthly bill. I have included a picture of my invoice for reference. A month later I received my monthly bill, only to discover that not only was there no credit applied, but I was also signed up for "Total Mobile Protection" which I never asked for. I went into the store and spoke with the manager Gary, and told him everything that happened in detail. He told me that the promotion I was promised never existed, that he could cancel the Mobile Protection (although I had already payed for 2 months and was not refunded), and that he would try and resolve the problem, although he didn't think there was anything he could do. Of course then the pandemic happened and nothing was ever resolved. So in conclusion I was told about a fake promotion that never existed in order to get me to buy a phone and to give Jay my old phone for free that I easily could have sold for at least $100 at the time. I am beyond upset that I was scammed. The fact that Jay still works at this location, even after speaking with a manager, goes to show that this location condones Jay's behavior. Perhaps I am at fault for not looking over the invoice more carefully, but when you are assured/promised a promotion by a friendly sales person you tend to not look over the fine print. Please everyone be careful of Jay. They seem kind and helpful but it is clear from my experience that if you are not careful you will be scammed. And if that happens, no one will help or refund you, you will be out of luck. read more

I have to give this retailer 1 star in order to post this review... they don't deserve that. It took me nearly 3 months to fix the mess they created. I was lied to about the cost of an iPad when I went in to get new phones for my family. There were no fewer than 4 people hired then gone from the store so I had to deal with that. I went to the store several times during business hours and the store was not open. I had to contact the Office of Consumer Protection to get help and eventually had the billing corrected. Almost 3 months... ridiculous. This is not a true Verizon Wireless store and they have ruined the Verizon brand for me. Jay helped me and it was an awesome experience. Typically I hate those stores, like car dealerships, with the hard sell. Jay was great, didn't pressure me to buy the over priced case there, insurance, etc. Great personality and handled 3 customers alone. I went into the Verizon store in my neighborhood planning to get a new screen protector. RIZ, the store manager was there and he took a careful look at my old iPhone 6 and explained the advantages of turning it in and getting a new phone. I knew that I would need to soon but was putting it off because of the time and money involved in making the change. RIZ was so informed, patient, helpful and pleasant that I got a new 10R phone, new screen protector and case and he set my new phone up, answered all my questions and I left feeling very happy! The experience with RIZ, at my local store was so much more relaxing and informative that I won't be standing in line at the big Verizon store in Rockville. Thank you, RIZ! read more

This is the absolute "Worst" authorized retailer I have ever used for phone services. I went in to transfer services from AT&T to Verizon. On November 11th, Veterans Day. Jay did not have a clue as to what she was doing. She gave me discounts that did not exist. She screwed my phone up so bad, that during the transfer, I lost all messages and emails up to August of 2019. Everything was wiped out. She sold me a phone that was whacked. She lied about all of the discounts I would get. There was no promotion as to what she gave me. The Manager is no better. Until February, I could not get my phone to work properly or get the store to acknowledge that they screwed up. The manager promised to call me back. I never heard from him. I spent the entire Veterans Day at this store. As a disabled veteran, I lost out on "all" celebrations. I suggest if you would like excellent service go to the Georgia Avenue location. The Spartan store also will not answer the phone or return your calls. I could never leave messages. The only way I got the phone fixed and my savings was by escalating to Verizon parent company. I would never recommend this store nor the employees that work there. I am hoping that the owner sees this rating and remove the Manager and his team. read more

We went in to get two new phones transferring our data from both. From the initial call taken by Jay to the service itself we were super impressed. Jay was friendly, fast, resourceful, patient, helpful and funny! Jay was able to service more than just us jumping around from client to client just getting it all done! He also viewed my account and made really helpful recommendations about ways to maximize my usage after talking to me about how I used the account. His advice saved me money. I recently purchased a new iPhone X from this store on Spartan Road. The people at the store were very helpful with everything including setting up the new phone. But, almost immediately I had major problems with the phone. Among other unexplainable things, it was using huge amounts of data when I was at home connected to Wi-Fi. After many hours on the phone with Verizon Tech Support over several days, they concluded that my phone was defective. The rep told me take it back to the retailer and have them swap it out for a new phone, that I was entitled to a new phone since I was still within the 14-day defective device exchange period, and that if I waited till after the 14 days, my phone would be exchanged for a re-conditioned phone. He cautioned me against a re-conditioned phone, and I obviously wanted a new phone since I had just paid over $1k for a new phone just days before. I took the phone back to this Verizon retailer that same day. The person at the store told me that their corporate policy required that I have the original box to do an exchange. I did not have the box. Their policy is not entirely clear and is buried on the second page of a 3-page receipt that I did not receive until after I purchased the phone. The section of the receipt that refers to defective devices says nothing about needing the original box. I asked to speak with a manager, but he was at a different store. The person trying to help me called the manager, but the manager would not allow me to exchange my defective device. The person trying to help me said that he thought the exchange should be allowed, but if he did it, the company would charge him the $1k retail price. He suggested I go to an Apple store indicating they might give me a new phone. He called Apple support, they reviewed everything and contacted an Apple store. The Apple store manager said they would exchange the phone IF I had purchased it there, but since I had purchased it at a Verizon retailer, they would not. The Apple person also said they couldn't do anything for me until I was outside of the 14-day defective device exchange period, and it would be an exchange under a different warranty, and he couldn't say whether I would get a new phone or a re-conditioned phone. I called to speak with the Verizon retail manager who had not allowed my exchange the next morning to sort of register a complaint. That manager was not available, so I spoke with a different manager who offered help, saying he wanted to look into the details on my account, but that he could exchange it for a new phone. This is a week ago now. I've gone back and forth several times with that manager saying he will call me back with info., only to not get calls back. He called me the other day saying he couldn't get me a new phone since I am now beyond the 14-day defective device period, even though he acknowledged that I was in the store and on the phone with him before that period expired. He offered me a discount on some accessories, which doesn't solve my phone problem. And, he, too, suggested I go to an Apple store, saying the Apple store could call him and he would convince them to give me a new phone. I asked him to call the Apple store before I made the trip out there to set it up - since the Apple store manager already said he would not do the exchange. He was supposed to call me back, but 3 days and one voicemail message later, I have not heard back. My I've been a customer at this store for over 14 years, and I've purchased multiple devices from them. I really just wanted them to stand behind the product the sold me. They sold me a defective phone. My issues is still unresolved. The manager for the retailer and the manager of the Apple store both confirmed that I would have gotten the exact customer support I was looking for IF I HAD PURCHASED THE PHONE FROM AN APPLE STORE. So, my take-away is to purchase future phones from Apple and not this Verizon retailer. read more
