I have stopped in this location twice in the last week me both experiences were surprisingly pleasant. 1st visit was to ask complicated questions about my Internet as well as change details on my family plan account. I have zero product knowledge, let alone tech skills. The gentleman assisting me was outstanding at organizing my requests and making the changes I needed (even though a more savvy person would do it online). 2nd visit was to solve the mystery of my suddenly broken IPhone. At apple you have to make an appointment well in advance and drag yourself to Cherry Creek mall. I avoided all of that by returning to my (now favorite) Verizon store! He gave me great advice, evaluated what I'm doing to drain the battery and advised me to use my phone insurance to get a replacement if needed. Every aspect of Verizon is the same - they don't have enough help and you wait forever. Hey, Verizon, my time is as important as yours! I've never gone in this store on Colorado that there hasn't been just one person working and at least 4-5 people waiting to be served. After going into the store twice and waiting over 30 minutes and then finally having to leave I decided to go home and just try calling them for faster results. OMG I have tried 4 times over the last two days and after being on hold for 40 minutes last time (actually folded and put away all the laundry) I gave up! This is utterly ridiculous!! The customer service at this store location was sub par. We were told incorrect information when it came to basic questions about the account, Verizon services and phone warranty. The Verizon employee seemed put out by our questions as he was distracted and texting on his own phone.We will not be going back. read more

I walked in and just wanted to buy a phone case. There were 3 or 4 people working and one person acknowledged me. After picking a case, putting it on my phone and standing there for 10 minutes just wanting to be rang up, I had to leave. I switched out the cases and put back on my old one, left and not one person acknowledged that I was walking out the door. read more

In March of 2012 I had my flip phone stop working so I stopped at what I thought was a Verizon store which was close to my house. The big sign on the building said "Verizon". The two guys working there informed me that it would cost me $50.00 to replace it. I started to ask a lot of questions about possibly getting a smart phone instead since some friends had them already and I like the features. They both were annoyed by my questions. I had questions because it was all very new to me. I was told that since my contract was not up I would get a $9.99 charge per month for the next two years. Several months later the other person on the same plan with me wanted to look at some new products from Verizon so we went to the store by his house (2073 Colorado Blvd). They pulled our plan up and asked us about the "Ghost Line" that we were being charge for $9.99 per month. I explained to them what I was told by the other store. We found out that the store that I went to was not a corporate store so I was being charged this additional fee and if we had gone to the corporate store we would not have been charged this monthly fee. This was very upsetting that I was going to have to pay $9.99 for two years, this equals $240.00 for getting nothing. The Corporate Verizon store tells us that they can not do anything about it and I will just have to pay it. It is deceiving that there are different types of Verizon stores that have different policies and charges making it very difficult to trust who I'm dealing with. November 2012 we saw an ad on black Friday for a $99.00 tablet. We went in to the same corporate store to work with Steven who has always given us great service and takes the time to explain the different products and services. At this time we decided to buy the tablet and upgrade our plan to the shared plan. It was explained to us that the $9.99 ghost line would now cost $30.00 per month and it would still need to be paid for another year to satisfy the contract. That's another $360.00 for the year! We came up with the idea of buying yet another tablet and assigning it to the ghost line and then the charge would drop to $10.00 a month and I would have a second tablet. I even kicked around the idea of buying an old broken tablet off ebay and assigning it to that ghost line to reduce the charge and then just throwing it out. The Verizon rep we were talking to at the time (not Steven) thought this would be a good idea. First we were told this would work then told it may or may not at a later date. Part of my frustration is that I don't get a straight answer and no one there including the manager seems to have any authority to take care of a customer's problem. We just get a lot of corporate double talk. After seven more trips back to the store and complaining about the problem they offered to let me buy out the last year of my contract for the ghost line for $130.00 cash. I didn't feel I had a choice and in the long run this ended up being cheaper. What I really wanted was to be refunded or credited the full amount of the ghost line since the charge started over a year ago. I think this is only fair considering their affiliate store didn't inform me that if I had gone to a corporate store there would not have been a ghost line charge. So what is a ghost line charge anyway? This is just a way to add additional charges to someone's plan. The customer gets nothing and the company has to do nothing so this charge is a total rip off! So BEWARE of the Verizon store at 620 S. Colorado Blvd in Denver. The generic plans at Walmart are looking better and better and you can bet we will be going there as soon as our contract runs out. read more

GoWireless = Go elsewhere! If you cancel your Verizon contract, not only do you have to pay the $250+ Verizon cancellation fee, you also have to return your phone to GoWireless or pay a hidden fee of $400! They conveniently mention nothing of this to you when you are purchasing your phone or when you call Verizon. In fact when I called Verizon to cancel, they insisted that I owed nothing else and that the retailer couldn't charge me any additional charges for cancelling. I find this very sketchy, unethical, and dishonest! BEWARE! read more

Gowireless is an independently run store not a verizon store. I had the worst possibly costumer service. With no other costumers in the store, the 2 young employees made it clear they had no interest in repairing my phone problem. I felt like I was interrupting them from doing nothing. I went to a real verizon store at colorado and evans where I was made to feel like a valued customer, they fixed the problem in under 20 min. My best guess is bad management leads to bad employees. My recommendation avoid GoWireless and find a real verizon store. read more

This store and Taera, specifically, has horrific customer service. She neglected to outline options to myself and my mom when upgrading our phones. She instead made decisions for us, likely to benefit her commission. She chose to put a phone credit to extras and accessories that I didn't need, when I stated that I wanted an option that would go towards the price of the phone. She didn't outline the options like other store employees did when my boyfriend upgraded his phone. It is clear that she is manipulative and intentionally excludes customer options that don't benefit her directly. I have called once and been to the store twice to give her opportunities to fix her mistakes and negligence, and she has not done so, nor has she admitted her wrong-doing. She claims she has communicated my concerns to the district manager, but I have yet to hear from him. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

During a recent weekend the old blackberry screen had turned to mush-we had a continuous stream of error messages and turned to our local Verizon dealer in Glendale. Justin, our techno expert salesman, tried everything he knew to fix our phone from new cords to re-programming. All of this failed, and he suggested to bring in our laptop to download new communication software. (we live closeby) So, we are trying to download recovery software to our laptop and transmit to the phone-nothing was compatible, yet Justin worked with us for over an hour on a very busy Sunday. He suggested we take our laptop home and hope for a better connection than the store's, so off we go-but first, he insisted we take a phone home for emergencies, and he loaded us up with a temporary phone with our actual number, amazing service. Unfortunately, we could not download the software to our phone in the end, so a new phone had to be purchased later in the day. Justin insured we understood all the functions, and downloaded several email connections for us old people. This location of Verizon has great service, knowledgeable salespeople whom insure you are buying the right product, and are glad to help you with any phone issues. Sooooo slow...... What kind of store makes you wait forever to get your money.... Doesn't seem well managed.

This is not a Verizon Corporate store. What does this mean? It means that if anything goes wrong, they have less flexibility to work with you. It means they charge a $50 restocking fee for phone returns instead $35. It also means that if you change your mind about a phone and want a different phone that they don't have in stock, you will have to return here and then go to a different store. They are supposed to disclose this information to customers. The employees that I talked to there and overheard talking to other customers are polite and knowledgable. They are typical fandroids, however. This is not necessarily a bad thing - just keep it in mind if you plan to shop there. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY REASON. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They were double charging us for insurance, so we called to explain. The manager told us that it was our fault that we were double paying, and basically rubbed it in our face that we had paid extra. Verizon should drop them as a distributor as far as we are concerned. read more

I recently went to this store to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 5S. I had to wait for a minute as all the reps were helping somebody else - which was fine. Everything went really smoothly from beginning to end. The rep that was available first, Wesley, was great. He explained all of my options and got everything set up very quickly. He was very knowledgeable in answering all of my questions and did so with a smile, even with a bustling store. I will go back to this store every time! read more

This store is the example of excellent service and products. I really don't know much about my iPhone 6 but it was giving me problems and I went into this store to try to fix them. After talking with Andrew for about 15 minutes we found out that my iPhone wasn't doing what I needed it for (easy access to news, music, my calendar), Andrew then showed me his android device and how he is able to do these things smoothly and without inputting a million apple id's. After seeing this he showed me my new phone the LG g5. I was able to get my phone, a case and glass guard for under 200! His coworkers Eric, Wes, and Taera helped him with tidbits of their experience with androids and I'm very happy I came to this store! Don't let any other verizon have your service! Went in and had to wait quite a while because there was only one person on the floor. Then when my turn came, I said I just bought a phone on ebay and needed to have my old phone switched to the new. He said that it would be $35. I have never had that charge at any of the other stores I have been to, and told him. He said, "you can try somewhere else, go for it". So I did. The location does not disclose the inability to provide the new edge program , while bashing the program as not good for verizon customers. Sleazy. Never had an experience with a cell carrier store like this before. Sales guy was amazingly rude and tried to bully me into buying a phone so I ended up leaving. He managed to put my account in limbo and added a 2 year Ext to my contract without selling me anything! I left and went to apple where they repaired my phone and saved me $1000. Over the phone Verizon account guy took care of it over the phone for me but took 24 hrs. They were upset about it and promised to report it. read more

I came here to upgrade my phone about a week ago. There weren't any other customers in the store so I didn't have to wait to be helped. I already knew what phone I wanted so the process was pretty quick. The selection of accessories in this store is pretty limited, but they did have screen protectors for the phone I was purchasing so I opted to get one. The salesman offered to install it for me but when he handed it to me after it had two pretty large, noticeable bubbles in the film. The guy kept trying to convince me that you "could barely see" them when the phone was on (not true) and that it was only noticeable when the phone was off so it didn't matter. He could tell I wasn't sold, and offered to take it off and use the second screen protector in the package but I wasn't about to trust him to mess that one up too and make me buy another package of protectors. I don't know how someone who applies multiple screen protectors daily can screw that up worse than I would, and honestly I think he should have taken the price of the protectors off of my purchase since he ruined one of them, but I didn't feel like pushing the issue. Besides that annoying blip in the sale, I didn't have any problems at this store. read more

Horrible customer service, dishonest salespeople! I went in to upgrade my phone, and I was told that the only option was to put $160 down on the phone with an $11 monthly device payment moving forward. I was also told that with an upgrade, I would receive a free screen protector and 25% off a case, plus a $100 rebate. They sales guy wrote down all the numbers ($192 for the down payment plus phone case), I paid, all was said and done. He said my new bill would be $65/month. It wasn't until seeing my Verizon bill the following month, which was almost $100, that I called customer service. I was told that no money was ever put down on the phone, and instead I was charged several fees and an $80 premium. I called the store and was then told that the $80 premium was charged in order to give me a discount of $9.95 on the phone case! I requested a refund, but was told that I was past the 14 day refund period. I asked why I was never told that I was being charged the "premium" and fees, as I would have never agreed to that. I was told that "most people don't ask questions, they are just happy to have the new phone". I am now stuck having paid almost $200 for nothing, having a monthly bill that is almost $40 higher than I was told, and my $100 rebate doesn't exist. I am appalled by the scams and dishonesty at Go Wireless, and I will never do business with them again. read more
