I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews, but this place has genuinely the worst costumer service I have ever experienced in my life. The women working (I think her name was Darling or something like that) was incredibly dismissive and rude. Rather than helping or explaining anything to me she simply gave me the phone number to costumer service. Keep in mind I had already called customer service the day before and they weren't able to help me. If I wanted to talk to costumer service on the phone I wouldn't have gone out of my way to go to the store in person. At certain points she was straight up ignoring me and had an AirPod in while talking to me. Instead of trying to help me she said I should go to another store. I've worked in customer service for many years, and I've honestly never seen someone who seemed less equipped to work with people. I understand everyone has difficult days, but part of working in customer service is treating people with basic courtesy and making an effort to help even if you can't solve the problem yourself. At no point did I feel like she cared or even wanted to try. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Horrendous experience. Ordered a phone on Saturday bc they did not carry the color I requested. Was told to pick up Tuesday night. Came on Wed afternoon . Could not find me in the system for a good hour. Barely put effort into looking Automatically made excuses. Finally found me in the system and said it would come later that day. Both times I purchased the "lifetime" screen protection" today I was told I had to pay for the screen protector for the iPhone 15 (I have the 14) because they didn't carry the 14 protectors anymore. I stopped by to replace my $65 lifetime screen protector that I purchased in February 2023 and was shockling told I would need to pay $65 again because their policy changed. Please, learn from my difficult life lesson, do NOT buy anything from this store, sadly you will waste your money and time. Kendal sold me the screen protector and never told me to mail in anything. He said, come back to the store and he will replace the screen protector. Also, when they gift you a FREE watch, it's NOT free. You will be billed $10 a month for a new cell service for your watch. Many headaches from the representatives, because they're definitely working on commission $$$ I've lost $400 from their greedy sales. read more

So, yeah, this store is bad. The average rating for this business page on Yelp is 2 stars right now, so I guess I will keep it the same. But tbh, rating it 1 to 1.5 stars would probably be justifiable still. Perhaps the problem is that this store isn't officially a Verizon store? It's an authorized retailer, and it's actually a GoWireless store? Whatever that means. Because I don't think Verizon, being such a big name, would tolerate the service here, or train their workers to quite the minimal standard. The main culprit: worker's attitude and/or rudeness. I have done retail myself. And I know I do NOT like it. And even though my current profession still involves a certain level of customer service, I am glad I got out of it. Retail is a tough gig. It isn't for everyone. If you don't like helping and serving folks, don't bother. And here lies the problem. The gentleman that helped us on the day of visit clearly didn't like retail, I think. Simple as that. He didn't seem to want to provide any help. Any sort of question we had that day, he was quick to deflect us to using Verizon's online website dashboard/portal. Hey, man, if it is something that we could handle ourselves online, we would've done so. (But we are brand new Verizon customers. It's ok that we have questions early on.) We wanted a knowledgeable personnel to answer our questions, and that really wasn't too much to ask. This gentleman actually reminded me of some of my past coworkers. They are otherwise decent folks. But they don't like retail, or helping customers. So I know the type. They would get antsy easily. As such, I know how to carry a conversation with this kind of personality without provoking an argument, or just carry on the discussion forward civilly. So that's what I did. When I was at the store, it wasn't my favorite, but it was... ok. I did want to get in, do what I wanna do, ask what I wanna ask, and get out ASAP. It wasn't fun or pleasant. It was... ok. At best. But his lack of care, and the obvious display of not wanting to do more than he's required to, really was a turn off. At the end of the day, he wasn't 100% helpful, he was able to shed light on some questions, but not others. I wasn't impressed per se, and my friend was less than pleased. He actually left quite upset. I held it together, but I am pretty sure I won't return to this location either. And neither should you. I cannot recommend this business, sadly, based on my own experience. I hope yours can be better, if you happen to use this branch one day. The location itself, otherwise, is great. Prime location, convenient, next to a pizza shop, with lots of car/food traffic. It's a win-win if it's a business done right--but nope, not the case here. Not today. read more

Visited the store to purchase a new phone. When the sales associate was told it was a business account he needed proof I was an owner, understandable. Then he had to call someone on the phone for over five minutes keeping me there, asking me why I wanted that particular phone and what kind of business it was wanted to talk about different plans. I stopped him saying I want to buy this phone and only For this plan and then he wanted to talk about payment plans finally I said if you will not sell me this phone now I'm leaving. He just move the phone closer to him looking like he didn't know what to do. I don't think it was his fault. I think it's company policy if an owner of a company comes in. You need to upsell. It was a big waste of time and I'll never go back to this location. Horrible customer service. Upgraded phone and bought a camera lens protector at this location. Was told at the time of purchase that the camera lens protector would be under warranty at this location for a year. Went in to have camera phone lens replaced today only to be told, it's not under warranty. I asked The Assistant Manager, Anthony to check our contract to which he responded, he didn't need to because he already knew that those were not under warranty. I stated exactly what happened. here is it in short 1. I went to Verizon Glendora to turn in my IPhone trade in (when I started the trade in process I selected this specific store to trade in my iPhone) 2. the Verizon employee sitting on the far right chair of the desk did not know how to do this and asked for help. 3. the Verizon employee's help told him to click this which would make me go to ups to mail my trade in phone to Verizon 4. the Verizon employee had me take a photo of the QR code on his screen to use when I went to UPS to trade in my phone 5. I thanked the Verizon employee and went home 6. I went home and received an email that "I had cancelled my phone trade in" (this is incorrect. I did not cancel my trade in. your employee's did) 7. I called Verizon and was on the phone with a competent and helpful Verizon employee for over 2 hours sorting out this mess as re-initiating the trade in of my phone would not give me the promotion price I had agreed upon with Verizon. 8. the Verizon employee on the phone sorted this out. 9. I made a yelp review to warn others. 10. Additionally, when I was in the store an older gentlemen walked into the store and was upset his product still was not working. a store Verizon Employee apologized because they had let him leave when he first bought the product without actually turning the product on and now he is having another issue. I initially thought it must be user error, but after this experience it's probably the inept ness of the employees. This is what I would have emailed you. Three of us in my family went to Verizon on Grand Avenue, in Glendora 5 different times within 7 days, with appointments, to upgrade our phones since we were qualified and had $800 promotion. However, each time that we went, a different agent was present and non of them helped us or honor our appointments. Each time we went, they gave us different reasons as to why they could not help and said that we needed to make another schedule. I cannot make this up!!! Each time I asked for a manager, they denied my request. I contacted Verizon costumer service, and had the costumer service representative talk to the store agent, but they ignored the Verizon costumer service representative also. During one of our appointment visits, another couple came in to the store to get help, but they storm out of the store because of the lack of service provided to them. The fifth time that we went for our appointment, the store agent said that he was going to go to lunch and had to close the store for an hour, and that we needed to make another appointment. This is crazy and not heard of. Who is the manager or the owner of this store? How do you run a business like that? read more

I can see why this place has such low ratings. I came in just to get a new SIM card for my new phone. Sounds simple right? Well the guy didn't want to do it and told me I have to unlock the phone online first. Tried that, and it didn't work so I went online and had a chat with a representative and she did something very simple and effective: ordered and mailed over my SIM card for me. This location is a scam, just read the reviews. I went in for a phone upgrade and they "gave"me a 5G home wifi cube but when it didn't work they wouldn't take it back. Allegedly they can't accept the return since they "didn't charge me for the equipment" just the service. The guy in the store wouldn't even call customer service for me, he made me call from my phone while in the store. Then while I was on the phone with customer service I tried asking him a question and he started giving me attitude. If I could give 0 stars I would. My fiancée and I went to this store to see if the local store had better prices than Samsung was offering on their website. I am currently an ATT customer who is paying 54 dollars a month for unlimited everything including hotspot. My fiancée is a Verizon customer paying 75 dollars a month for unlimited everything excluding hotspot. We went to the store to try to save money by consolidating the two lines onto one carrier account. Samsung was promoting a deal through their website where you could buy an S10 and receive a free S10 up to a 750 dollar value. We were planning on trading in both of our iPhones to get two brand new Samsung's so we went to this store to find out if they could help us out. We were greeted by a man by the name of Mike who seemed to be pretty well informed on the difference between the several different new galaxy phones. I told him what I was currently paying and that we wanted to maybe combine our accounts. It turned out by switching from my current line to Verizon I would have to pay an additional 30 dollars a month. We went back and forth talking about the discounts etc. At one point he mentioned we would receive the discount but it would be applied to accessories to any items purchased and we would have to pay for the phone in full which was contradictory to what Samsung stated on their website. When questioned, Mike seemed irritated with the notion that he may be incorrect and abruptly said "Do either of you have any of questions because there are other customers who I need to help". Upon saying this I told my fiancée "let's go" and said to Mike as we were turning to walk away "we'll get going since you don't want our business." I was about ready to pay the difference in price until you decided to be rude to us! I used to have Verizon wireless over 10 years ago and this is the exact reason why I switched over. Make sure that you understand all charges before you leave the store. I asked for a screen protector and was told that it would be discounted to $10 and that a phone case would be discounted too. I was surprised to be charged $145 but I was upgrading to a more expensive phone and understood that the sales tax was higher. After leaving the store I found a small unopened package in my bag labeled "GOADVANTAGE Smartphone Glass" with a charge of $80 on my receipt. When I called the store to inquire I was told that if I returned the unopened package, I would owe them $80 - the amount of the supposed discount on the screen protector and phone case. This make no sense to me and I feel ripped off! BTW under normal circumstances I would have asked more questions before leaving the store, but this occurred during the pandemic and I was reluctant to stand close to the salesperson and I wanted to get out of the store. read more
