I am currently switching from AT&T to Verizon and this is the branch I ended up at. The one in Porter Ranch on Mason and Rinaldi basically did me did me no service since I was not in their system.. ummm duhhhh!!! I'm trying to switch over.. I even showed them a purchase order!! They were quick to turn me away and not even try to help me to find out what's going on...... This leads me to DAVID at the Granada Hills branch.. I walked in there in there at 8 and he was helping out another customer at the time. He was quick to acknowledge me and told me he'd be right with me. Once he was free for even a second, he asked me what my issue was. I explained what was going on and he did the same thing the Porter Ranch branch did and saw that I was not in their system. I showed him the purchase order and he was quick to know that something was wrong, so he got me on the phone with Verizon's customer service while ALSO attending the other customer who needed service from him as well. He attended us both GREAT at the same time for about an hr and a half! DAVID not only stayed after 9 PM, which is when the branch closes, he did it with charisma and enthusiasm. He was still providing great costumer service, getting things done for me and the other customer. His great attitude through the entire evening was amazing. I'll for sure be coming back if I ever need anything to this branch because of him. read more

My husband and I came here to upgrade his phone and ask questions about the Apple watch. The gentleman behind the counter that assisted us seemed to be very uninformed, was overwhelmed and constantly checking his own phone. He did not have any answers to the questions I asked and then gave incorrect information. He told us we would get the activation fees and a free case./ screen shield with the upgrade, come to find out that it's not free and was a bundle. He never said the word bundle or gave a price, the store did refund the money and that was helpful. As for the watch, he ordered it he said and it would arrive in 2 days. On day 3 we went in to ask what was happening and another salesman said it was not ordered, then after 10 minutes of searching he said it was ordered but was on back order, when were they going to let us know that?!! After going on line I easily found out that 1. It was only the rose gold that was back ordered, which would have been nice to know when i was IN THE store. and 2. The 3 month of no line fees the manager was giving us as an "i'm sorry for the inconvenience" was not that at all and already something they give you. This was just a total bummer because we have been with Verizon for a long time and unfortunately I've learned that online orders, updates and even chatting with online customer service agents is so much easier and they are much more helpful and informed. Neither of the in store men we worked with seemed to have much knowledge about the phones, the prices, etc. save your self some aggravation and go online! read more

Wow, BAD SERVICE. Stoped by today (5/15/19) around 4:40pm. There were several people working there, most of them were helping other customers. I walked up to the main service desk where one of the workers was just standing there not really doing anything at all. As I approached the desk he told me another worker would help me over on the other side of the store and pointed over to another worker. (Remember, the worker that told me this was just standing around and not actually doing anything, so why couldn't he help me?) So I walked across the entire store to the other worker, and as I approached him he picked up his phone and started talking to someone on it. He completely ignored me, he didn't say" i'm sorry hold on one moment" to the person on the phone and then tell me "I'm sorry but I'll be right with you as soon as I finish this call", instead he let me just stand there and stare at him for a while. So I looked over at the other worker that it sent me over there, and he was still just standing there doing nothing except watch me standing over by the other worker like an idiot while he was busy talking on the phone. So eventually I just turned around and started walking out of the store. The worker who was doing nothing who sent me across the room just stood there quietly and watched me as I walked past him and left the store. He didn't say one word to me, such as "I'm sorry sir were you not helped?" or "i'm sorry for the confusion, can I help you?"... he just stood there silently doing nothing and watched me as I walked out the door. What is wrong with this place? These private-owned "authorized retailers" are just awful. Second one in a row that I've had a horrible experience in. I've learned my lesson, only going to Verizon corporate stores from now on. read more

By far the worst Verizon store ever. I just bought my iPhone 6 Plus one month ago. First off no customers in the store at all. Red flag. So my phone for some reason is black screened and did everything to try and get it working. Nothing. I go into this location. The attendant was Joshua. He spends 20 minutes trying to look me up even though I have been with the same phone number for 5 years. Joshua then tells me, sorry Verizon can do nothing for you. Except if you want to buy a new phone. I leave and drive to the Rinaldi store which is a corporate store not a retailer like this crap location. I speak with the manager James. In 5 minutes he orders me a new phone and it's on my door step the next day. Do not make any purchases here or you will regret it if your phone is defective. read more

If I can give this place a zero, I would give it a zero! To all you people out there stay away from this store!!! Nothing but thieves!!! Me and my family went to upgrade our iphones to 6 & 7. My sons were able to but my wife and I wasn't able to because they didn't have the phones we like. Joshua assisted us. He was pleasant to talk to, the funny thing is my son knows him so i was confident that he will not swindle us. He told me that i would have to pay $200 for the iphone 7 and $180 for the iphone 6s. I asked him why so expensive? he said its for ACTIVATION FEES & TAXES! Then he started bringing out the tablet ellipsis, said that it is included in the bundle that it is for free which is somewhat true but then i would have to pay for the $10 line charge every month. Then he started putting screen protectors and telling my sons to choose any case they want. He even included a car charger. Giving me the impression it is free. So I paid and he gave me a receipt. To my mistake i didn't check the receipt until we got home. I was furious!!! I actually paid for those so called freebies!!! Activation fee is only $20 after checking the breakdown of the receipt and that i actually paid for those "free stuff"! I called customer service and did some research in the verizon website, and it is actually $20 to activate a device. I went back the following day which is this afternoon, a lady, i don't know her name, assisted me. I told her what happened. I said i wanted to return those cases and the car charger for a refund but she said those stuff replaces the activation fee. I said but activation fee is only $20, she said its not activation fee but a set up fee! I asked her what's the activation fee for the iphone 7 & 6s, she said $150 for the 7 & $120 for the 6s. I also wanted to return the tablet but she said it is in the bundle with the iphone 7, to return it, i will also have to return the iphone. So I just kept it just to stay away from the hassles in life. I don't know how can they stomach what they are doing to their customers! AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! I dealt with an employee named Daniel Jaime recently and had a terrible experience with him. I was trying to return a previously purchased Verizon Jetpack device, which shouldn't have even been pushed on my Uncle who didn't know any better and bought it at his persistence, and instead of trying to help me return it, he kept on telling me how great a deal it was for me and my Uncle to have it but I kept telling him it is NOT a great deal when we will never be using it. But over and over he kept trying to convince me of how good a device it was when I kept telling him I didn't want it and it was like talking to a wall. I got so fed up with him I told him to leave me alone and talked to his manager, Kaitlyn, who has been cool the both times I dealt with her. A terrible customer service experience with Daniel will drive me and everyone I know to never come back to this store. All he had to do was try and help me accomplish my goal of returning the device and instead, all he did was try to convince me how great a deal it was and how useful it might be to us. No, Daniel, it's worthless to me when we don't need it in the first place and I'm really upset that you would even try to package it in a deal to someone who doesn't even need it. It just goes to show how much you are trying to sell items for the benefit of your paycheck rather than trying to take care of the customers you deal with in an honest way. read more

This place is a total sham, scam take your pick. Went to upgrade my sons iPhone the other day and for the most part their sales associate was cool. I told him that I wanted the phone only. No case, charger, wireless charger or screen protector, although I changed my mind on the screen protector and got that put on. So we are getting all setup when the sales associate asked if I wanted the case because they can just throw it in with the bundle for free. I said ok go ahead but I was charged for it on my cc. I asked him I " I thought this was free?" He said yeah we just need to ring it up on our side but that you will see a credit for it on your next bill or ... get this he said " If your bill from Verizon is cheaper that's because the deducted the case" BS VERIZON DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ACCESSORIES ON YOUR BILL!!! Anyways after seeing this we went back to the store to settle this confusing situation once and for all. So the conclusion is that they credited back my cc for the case that they said was free and then took the case back. Hahahaha WTF???!!! This kind of manipulative practices are wrong and Illegal because it is deceiving to the customer without disclosing what is actually going on. IAM DEFINITELY COMPLAINING TO VERIZON AND THE BBB, Maybe even the local news. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. My parents went in to fix their phone but the representative there informed us that there was a BOGO promotion going on. So we purchased a phone since it was basically a free phone. For the first three months we weren't charged anything, however from then on out, they began to charge us for that phone. But they didn't charge us directly onto that device but rather there is a completely different section on the bill statement that charged us for the device. Thinking it was a mistake we went directly into the store and talked to a different representative but all he could say was that we weren't paying for that phone..uhh excuse me we have the bill statement right here???? He took one look at it was looked us straight into my eyes was said "don't worry about that"...?!?!?! We tried to explain again but he refused to listen to our side of the story and completely ignored the EVIDENCE we brought in and kept saying " you're not paying for it". That really says something about their service. *We contacted Verizon directly but since it is a third party store they will not be able to do anything about it but they did confirm we were paying for that supposedly "free" device* I don't know if this contract was initially a scam or a mistake but if there is something wrong because of the store's representative, the store should be doing anything they can to accommodate to our financial loss. But the representative couldn't even bother to say I'm sorry and rather treated us as we were idiots and didn't know what we were talking about. The only reason I give this location 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is only since I had to leave and come back the next day (there was a consumer in front of me with a thousand questions and one Guest service rep there at that time). Anyway... I went to this Verizon store to start a new contract after being sick of T-mobile's service. I was helped by Michael, the process was a breeze and pain free! Michael was very knowledgeable about the IPhone 5c and 5s, I was very satisfied after a terrible experience with Radio shack. Be Careful with these guys! They are not Verizon. They are a 3rd party retailer (ya, just like the guys in the malls). Not much of an issue w the purchase. But.. Unfortunately during the next few days I noticed that the phone was dropping a LOT of calls in places where my previous one worked fine. So I decided to return it 4 days later. I was well within my 14 day trial, so I figured that it'll be no hustle. I even called Verizon to varify that since the phone had an issue and since no one said anything about a restocking fee at the time of sale, no restocking fee will be charged. I was even thinking of upgrading to the 128Gb in case memory was the issue. So when I went back I talked to the main guy there, Nick, explained the situation but he didn't care about what Verizon had said or assured me. He was going to charge me that restocking $35 fee no matter what, and if I had an issue w it I could take it up w his manager, who, oh by the way had gone home already and it would have to happen tomorrow. Seeing that there was nothing I can do, I asked him to proceed w the return. I gave him my credit card and he refunded the initially paid amount MINUS $55! When I asked him why is he keeping an extra $20 he said that it was because they had applied a $14.99 Coupon at the time of purchase and now they were taking that back. I pointed out that that still didn't account for the fact that he is adding an extra $20 to the restocking fee and that, coupon or not, he is still keeping $55 of my money and not just the $35 due for the restocking fee. He explained that it is what it is and that again I can talk to his manager tomorrow. Petty!...but $20 here, $20 there.. may be it adds up...and may be it is worth a dissatisfied customer and a bad review. I don't know... Be careful with these guys... read more
