I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I never preordered before and decided to preorder the iPhone X for my bf birthday. First they called me asking if I'd like to preorder ( lie #1) they don't actually preorder they just put in a request for a phone. He showed up the pick up the phone and of course they didn't have the one I had thought I preordered,so they offer him the 64g.He said that's fine BUT the ONLY way he can get the iPhone was if he purchased the PACKAGE DEAL(lie #2) 150$ for a case, screen protector and tablet plus you have to pay the taxes (they ignored) he said no thanks I don't need the package we have an iPad, and already purchased the case. This place had the worst service ever! Me and my husbend went in on a Friday to add a line to his excisting account and we wanted to get the iphone 4s in black. They told us they didnt have any iphone at all so we said never mind we would go shop around closer to our house, and the store manager MUSTAFA MOALIKYAR said he would check and see if another store in or area had it, he said only one store had 2 and "pretened" to call them and said it was a return and the other was a display and of course they insisted we get it from them and they can have it there in 24hrs. which was a complete lie! We agreed to order the phone through there store and we would just come back on Sunday because Saterday we had plans, which gave them a whole extra day, and he said he would call us pluse they would send us an email when it came in, which he did not call and the email they gave us a fedex tracking number that could not be found every time we tried to locate it. We called Sunday when they opened to find out the guy who sold it to us was not in that day and neither was my phone, so we said never mind we wanted our money back and the guy on the phone said we could pick up our money but he said if he could just track it to find out where it is and he would call us back, so we agreed. He called back and said yes it was in Oakland and should be there tomorrow but let me call and check to see if there going to deliever on Columbas Day which was the following day, and he called back and said they did. But of course when we called the next day the store manager was there and said no it didnt come in and they do not ship on Columbas day, so we called the verizon store next to our house to find out they had more then 1 they had multiples of each color and they had them on that Friday he "supposavly called them", so wecalled back and said we were picking up our money and he said he couldnt give us our money but he could send us a check which I didnt understand why when we paid cash for one and two the other guys we talked to the day before told us something completely different, so we hung up and I was calling to make a complant and the manager was calling on the other line to say pretty much he change his mind and we could pick our money! When I came in to pick up my money I was surprise to see a Fedex box on the table open and another customer getting his iphone but I thought fedex didnt come that day, Fucking Liers, oh well I got my money back and Im making a complant, and getting my phone! I typically go to the Verizon store in Pleasonton, but today I had stop by this Hayward location. I was helped in a matter of seconds. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I was helped by a young lady named Cindy, and she helped me with the issue I was having with my phone. I will be stopping by this store in the future and will bring my business here from now on. read more

This place sucks/ is not a REAL verizon wireless, they are an authorized retailer, meaning they can't do all the functionalities as the corporate stores. If you want great customer service and real answers visit either the San Leandro or Union city location they are the best! read more

First when I went and the guy help me out with what I needed an answered my questions. He gave me a quote on what I was going to pay monthly but now seeing my phone bill they are charging me for a protection plan that I specifically said I didn't want. Not only that he said I wasn't going to be charged for my upgrade fee but they charged me. I really don't mind paying the fees or whatever but just the fact that he told me one thing but did another is completely false advertisement and they shouldn't be lying to their customers just to make a sale. read more

Corporate seems to be going through a myriad of problems including staffing, inventory shortages, and computer failure. I spent about ten hours purchasing an I Phone and subsequently trying to upgrade, Ended up having to cancel the deal and going to a "real" Verizon store in Union City. Total frustration. read more

This is place is trash!!!! Dylan started our "preorder" for the iPhone x and he totally forgot good thing I called day before preorder to confirm yet no email was received as a confirmation. Spoke with MANAGER joe and he promised they had let go of employee and was deeply sorry for the mess up yet he promised 2 iPhone x to be picked up at 7. We show up at the store to pick up the phone's and there was no iPhone ready much less a manager to speak with since he had promised to help us out after all the mess! This place is horrible! We went in to pay our bill and Cameron Talevi assisted us. We discussed switching the employee discount to my husband's company and he then informed us we would have to switch the account name to make him primary. However, he did not inform us that it would be a whole new account and that our online passwords would be disabled. Come to find out about an hour after being in the store our whole account was switched including the plan that he never discussed with us or even mentioned and I still had to pay on my old account and upfront for the new account. All in all this place is horrible and what he did was completely unethical and unacceptable. You go in thinking you are going to be helped only to find that they scammed you into switching something just to get some kind of credit out of it. When I finally called him to ask him why he switched our account he says he never switched anything and that the other department should of disclosed everything. NOT OKAY!!!! I had to be on the phone with Verizon for over an hour to get this issue fixed. I will never come here again. You are better off going to the actual Verizon in Union City!!! read more

I have been into this store on sooo many occasions and the customer service just isn't there. As a recent grad from Life Chiropractic College West I understand that the environment that this location is in might contribute to the level of care they provide to their customers but specifically I've been misinformed about their closing time from one of their staff, didn't see hours posted on door and light was still on past closing (like 4 min but w/e).....had been given disrespectful attitudes when coming into the store (like the staff didn't see me, or everyone was too tired to make the effort to say "welcome" and just overall lack of attentiveness). I would NOT by any means recommend this store to anyone as I have dealt with many of their staff- 5 diff. ppl over the period of 2 years- and will need to drive to another location in a better area to receive the customer support I know that Verizon offers. Would rec more training hours and more thorough interviews when hiring. read more

Had a great experience at this Verizon store. Mary Lou's customer service skills are top notch. Mary Lou spent at least two hours trying to straighten up a problem caused by other out-of-town Verizon store. She was very understanding, caring and patient with me, which I truly appreciated. Mary Lou went out of her way to solve my problem. I also noticed that workers at this location do care for their customers. If they are busy, they keep reminding customers who are waiting that they'll be with you as soon as they can - they don't just ignore you. Thank you for solving my problem Mary Lou! read more

I was not planning on writing a review, but after I sat there and thought about how the DISTRICT MANAGER spoke to me.. I decided to go ahead and write about my experience. I went in on 8/27/18 to help get an understanding of why my bill was so expensive. A customer representative did let me know that my first bill will be high, but that is only because it would include the one time charges as well as the payment for the phone, the line, and the warranty. Which I understood and was okay with paying that. I then added another line because it was going to make my bill a little less expensive. Well, I was not aware nor told that if I added that third line about a week later that it would actually not benefit me. That I should just wait until my next cycle, that way I wont pay for extra charges all over again like I did in my first bill. Keep in mind that I went in to get an understanding of this whole situation. Well as I am speaking to the DISTRICT MANAGER about all of this he explains to me about how their system works. Keep in mind I don't work for a phone company nor do I have any experience in that department. Well, I get a little confused and try to repeat what he has told me so that I could understand the $433.75 phone bill for 3 lines. So I tell him to wait a minute so that I can follow what he is telling me. The DISTRICT MANAGER then decided to be sarcastic and say something along the lines of "well if you don't want me to repeat myself for you to understand, then i'll just stay quiet". So here is my problem with this.. 1. you are a DISTRICT MANAGER you should know better than to EVER speak to a customer that way.. 2. If I needed him to repeat something to me 3 times so that I could understand than that is what will need to happen. I did not choose his career for him, he did!!!!! At that I managed to keep my cool and ignore his comment. Also when I told the DISTRICT MANAGER about that someone should at least informed me that if I added the third line when I did, that it would not benefit me he responded with "well you were not going to get a free line for month". Yes, that's true but what does that have to do with just informing me. When my boyfriend asked will there be any charges? That is when he should of been informed! There was really no need for the sarcasm and disrespect. My boyfriend wanted to cancel the lines after I told him what happen, but I had already paid for the first bill and now the second bill. After this month our monthly bill should be less. We will see. read more

This not a Verizon store! This is a third party corporate. If you are looking to upgrade your phone, DO NOT go there. It is easier to either go the a "real" Verizon store or order online. I cannot believe how I ended up going several times just to get my phone. I have no idea what they did to the phone which showed "arrived" on my online account. Customer service kept giving different reasons. I ended up canceling my order there. read more
