Great customer service! I was there at around 530pm on a Tuesday. Four employees, and I was the only customer. I drive a CX-50, and this car has a phone charger pad in it's center console. But it doesn't work too good if your phone is inside a protective case. I forgot my charger, so I wanted to see if O'Reilly's had any. I walked in and asked a young man at the counter. He walked me over to the section and pointed at the rack. He told me about the charger that worked well for him. Very nice customer service. I got a charger for $26. About the same as Amazon. I didn't think I had enough problems in life so I decided to buy a 1988 Chevy Beretta GT yesterday to celebrate Presidents day in style. So these days I typically daily drive a Civic and so life has been very uneventful. No tows no problems - just fuel up and step on the gas. Yesterday I found myself ooogling CL classified ads to quench my quirky automotive interests and I found a nice modern classic with very low mileage and lots of deferred maintenance. Today I simply did some cleaning in and around the engine and changed the oil and filter. The oil that came out looked like it came from a diesel - black as tar. I got the house brand O Reilly type - as I don't want synthetic in such and old car and figure changing oil often is more important than having the highest quality oil. I was impressed to find the parts I needed - except the air filter - which I just got on eBay and will happily be on my way. I'm enjoying the unique exhaust note and when I fire it up I feel as if I could leave anybody in the dust. This is the GT version after all. Yes its great, its running better than ever. I cleaned the mass air flow sensor and I noticed higher MPGs immediately on the instant fuel economy reading in the all digital dash. This 37 year old car somehow still feels like a futuristic space ship. It was all done so fast - quicker than the dealer I suppose since I've got a good set up with everything I need within quick reach. read more

I needed to buy a replacement car battery. I called them and had a good chat with one of the workers. They didn't have the exact same battery but something very close. I drove in, they found it quickly enough, I bought it and left. Sure, it's not a very exciting shopping experience, but they had what I needed and the process was easy and straightforward. One of the big pros of this location for me is how close it is to where I live and work. As another review said, if you need something fast or not sure if a part you're buying will fit, brick and mortar can be far more convenient for just a few extra $$. Harbor Freight across the street also has all the basic hand tools on the cheap, so this store mostly has the more specialized tools. Like AutoZone, they also offer free battery testing, code reading. Their code readers are a good bit better than the cheapo ones that only pick up codes that cause the check engine light to turn on. They also have a loan-a-tool program like other parts store chains. Put down a deposit and get it back when you return the the tool. I just really wish their return deadline was a bit more chill than 48:00:00. I trust their employees when they say you can get an extension just by calling, but still. I made enough goof ups working on my car only due to working under pressure. If you need something for a quick job in the parking lot, no problem. Need a tool for a weekend project, better set an alarm a few hours before the clock runs on ya. Ugh! read more

A cars guys last resort is sometimes O'Reilly this location is fine the customer support is whatever. If you go in here thinking they know it all you will be disappointed. At the end of the day; these store front are for people who need a part, tool, or fluid ASAP. This is why you go to this parts store. I needed to get a socket and wrench larger size to do my diff for my car. 23 and 24 mm are hard to come by. Habor freight only sells them in kit I don't need so i went here. I was lucky enough that they had my sockets in stock. I also always buy whatever fluids they have on sale; mostly brake cleaner, or injector cleaning. I know it really doesn't do much but sometime this store has the stuff you need. I wouldn't make it my one stop shop for all my car needs. There are better places and prices outside. But this does have it's value so I'll give it 3 stars when you are in a rush and need a part fast go here. Otherwise order OEM or quality parts online. read more

The regular manager{who is also excellent} is out due to injury,and I listened to Devin answering the phone and dealing with customers all afternoon while I had my tires switched over.He is very patient,calm and knowledgeable with the customers..I was very impressed.I listened to customers coming in,wanting long lists of prices,so they could "price shop" and Devin was just as polite and helpful as tho they were buying thousands of dollars worth of tires...Its really hard to find good customer service these days,and its so cool to see it when you do! read more

Bought the wrong wiper blades for my car yesterday and trashed the reciept! Decided to go back to see if they would exchange with no receipt! I didn't hold up much hope. The young guy serving us really went above and beyond though. He took the time to go through all the invoices from the previous day and he found me!!! Yay!!! I exchanged the wipers with no problem at all and bought the right ones! During the transaction he even recommended to get an oil cooler for my car since he knew a lot about my model and some problems it sometimes encounters! I'm starting to miss Kragen! Been here quite a few times in the past. Just bought spray wax and stuff to detail the car with. On one occasion, I was given the wrong information on which bulb to get and another time was I got rung up for the wrong price... which wasn't really a biggie then. However, yesterday I had to special order something because they didn't have it. I paid in advance and the cashier (don't want to mention any names) told me to come back after a certain time to pick it up. Well, low and behold...later on that evening...by the way he reacted he must've forgotten to place the order! Anyway, he told me it didn't arrive (but I know he just forgot). Well, I was asked to come again the next day so I did. Again, it wasn't there so the new guy I spoke to (nameless) said he would put another order in and to come back after 3:30. I didnt want to waste anymore gas so I told him to just ring me up when it gets here. I actually got it! Yee hee! On my way home now...*smh* #wasteoftime read more
