    Sometimes you can't get the information that you need solely from online and that's where brick and mortar places like these come into play. Having a Verizon store is helpful and welcome in this regard. I came in interested in a new phone and wanted to view my options in person and walked out with a brand new device that same day. Personally, I wish the process wasn't so long (I'm sure the employees agree too) but I think my case was a little different since I was trying to consolidate lines and in truth it took a few hours for the whole thing to be completed. We had a challenge with another of our phone lines but the associates helping us were extremely transparent and explained all of the different methods that they were trying to get our phones set up. This consistent level of updates and assistance was highly appreciated. The associates who helped us made sure to notate in our account progressions so when we came in multiple times other folks helping us were aware of the situation which was nice. The system of when you'll be helped is a tad bit vague because it appears that each associate in the store has a different role. So it's best to come in with your specific ask and let the people in the immediate vicinity of the front door guide you if you need a question answered. Once you get paired up with an associate it's usually smooth sailing. The rating of the review is not for the store and its' associates who did their best to be helpful, this is in regards to Verizon set up. The way that Verizon as a company markets its process is like it should take 20 minutes maximum but in my personal experience that's hardly the case where we've had multiple visits and hours of waiting to handle set up issues. If you're coming in for any major changes to your phone plan or phone account for a few hours in your schedule just in case anything odd or complex comes up. If you are settling in for a wait this location has free WiFi available so you can stream, listen to music, check your social media accounts all without using up your data. Additionally they've got stations for phone charging and the outlets if you've got your own chargers to power up your devices. There are also six areas in the store where you can sit to relax. I'm definitely going to echo other customers that this location is open, bright, and clean which makes the in store experience better.

As your typical cell phone photographer I tend to take pictures of anything & everything. Except I'll usually forget to delete those random photos & about twelve thousand pictures later I've officially ran out of storage. So not being able to use apps when I want to or take even more pictures. This was officially my breaking point & has been well, quite irritating. So here I am at the mall looking for a solution to my problems. Visit number one was on my birthday. I finally made that executive decision to upgrade my phone plus my watch. Cause why not. They had a watch I liked in stock so I got to take that home on my very first visit. Except I already knew I'd need extra storage for my little iPhone photography hobby. So that needed to be special ordered. The following week my phone arrived so I'm back at the store working on my transfer. Except it started at fifteen minutes & worked itself all the way up to nine hours. Figured I should just go home & come back the next day to finish my trade in. Luckily on all three visits I had the opportunity to work with Bronson. His customer service was pleasantly refreshing. He would greet customers, find out what they were in for, either help them on the spot, inform them of a small wait time or get someone to help them out. When you're working solo or with a team time management skills are very valuable to any business. Bronson definitely knew how to problem solve to effectively get their customers in & out in a timely manner. Even the small talk like in my case happy birthday or welcome back. Can really leave a positive impression by making a customer feel valued or remembered from the last visit. Plus before I left today he helped me with some other questions I had with my account. We were on a trip from Honolulu to Maui and came straight from the airport to the Verizon in the mall. It's sad our Verizon in Kalihi doesn't have employees like Aukai. The service at this Verizon is impeccable being a walk in customer last minute! He's outstanding & remarkable:)

    I've been meaning to write this review for some time now, and the fact that I am writing it almost…read moreone month after my experience speaks volumes in terms of the positive effect of my 50-minute, in-store visit, to Spectrum Maui's new store at the Pu'unene Shopping Center. And without question, the primary reason I experienced overwhelming positivity on Thursday, Feb. 4, was Customer Service Representative Melissa, who went above and beyond in taking care of my many issues. She assured this 59-year-old male who had been stuck with Verizon for nearly 25 years. It was another Spectrum agent, back in September of 2020, who convinced me over the phone to switch from Verizon to Spectrum. I bought two sim cards at the time, and they arrived in less than a week. I was unable to make the switch official, despite making as many as five different scenarios. So when I finally pulled the trigger to make the transition from Verizon mobile to Spectrum mobile I had Melissa coaching me through every situation with kit gloves. She activated my iPhone XR to my new Spectrum mobile sim card. Connected my iPhone and my iPad Mini to all of Spectrum's available cell towers. I choose not to install the other sim card into the iPad Mini since I use it at home 95 percent of the time. Meanwhile, Verizon had me paying for that second card for more than two years. Melissa later contacted a colleague, who handles the sim cards and explained my situation: "About a guy who had been paying for two sim cards since last September and only decided to activate one card six months later. The colleague could tell that I only activated one of two cards and, although I bought them in September I was only activating it now." Because of Melissa's actions, and her colleague's passion to do what is Pono, he reimbursed my credit card for the months I paid holding the inactive sim cards. Also, I brought in my DVR and its remote control and canceled my TV subscription. My Verizon monthly cell phone bill was $155. Now I pay $15 per month on Spectrum. Moreover, my Spectrum TV service went from $175 a month to $75. In these difficult times, and with so much uncertainty in place, I managed to save more than $240 a month. Thank you, Melissa, you're the bomb, and Spectrum thanks for putting customer's core values first, not just the company's bottom line $$$!

    Do not trust what the reps tell you over the phone. I was with Spectrum for over 10 years. The…read moremoment I decided to leave them all of a sudden amazing pricing was available...that is the general practice of big businesses these days. My gripe is the rep I spoke to assured me they would cancel my service before the next billing cycle, well they didn't by 2 days. After speaking with someone on their "leadership" team about not billing me in full $75 for 2 days (when I had already stopped using 4 days prior), it was clear this person had no interest in keeping a positive view of the company and was just waiting for the phone call to end. Spectrum is does not reward loyalty. You guys will get your $75 and I will never get another service from you and will warn as many people as I can to stay away from you guys. But hey, you got paid so its all good.
