Horrible customer service. When an associate wasn't aware of what to do with a situation the manager did little to nothing to help.

We also were looking at a tv and he helped us with that, and brought it out and loaded it up. He was great!

I bought a Nintendo Switch at Store 177 for $456.10 over a year ago. It sat unopened in the box the…read morewhole time because of a move. When I finally took it out, one controller wouldn't actuate at all. Everything else was brand new and untouched. First I took just the controllers in. They asked if I had an extended warranty, I said no, but they told me it would still be okay if I brought the whole unit. So I went back a second time with the entire Switch. Then the guys acted like they'd never seen me or the stuff before. I asked for a manager and the duty supervisor showed up. He said the exchange looked good but refused anyway because of their 15-day policy. I showed my bank statement with the store number on it. Still no help. I asked for the regional manager's contact information and he handed me a Best Buy customer service card -- the same one I had already looked up while waiting for them to fumble around. Then I asked him to take my info and escalate it to his GM. He said he didn't have a number, told me to hold on, went to another desk, came back with a GM business card and said just email him because he gets customer emails all the time. I told him I asked for contact information, not just a number. He said "no you asked for his number." I said no, I asked for contact info, but thanks anyway and left. On top of everything, when I looked at the bad controller I noticed dry glue under the kickstand. Pretty sure it was refurbished and sold to me as new. I just bought a TV and extra controllers that are still in the return window. Those are going back Saturday. Too bad the scooter is just outside the date or it would be gone too. For a $25 controller this store just lost a loyal customer for good. I will never be back. Stay away from Store 177 if you don't want the headache and the runaround. 1 star.

They could've cut corners but didn't. John , the installer, deserve a shout out. - he is a pro Excellent example of a small business doing it right.

After the install: I lost power to my 12V lighter socket, so I couldn't charge my phone. He mostly likely tapped into the same circuit as the lighter socket, causing power loss (Yeah. He didn't warn me about that before the install!) The audio was also making intermittent Bluetooth pairing failures. I would be driving and then music would stop and start again. Bluetooth phone calls stopped working--only music streamed. The install skipped key components I provided, including the fuse tap, LOC, and amp integration What I learned--and what others should know: The 3.5mm aux jack on the BTC-Five is audio-only and doesn't support calls To restore full functionality, the fuse tap must be moved to a different ACC slot so the lighter circuit isn't interrupted. For Bluetooth calls, you need to use the BTC-Five's RCA outputs and route them through a head unit or amp that supports hands-free calling. If I had known all this upfront, I probably would've skipped the install entirely and just kept using my regular USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Aux Cable Adapter. It was simpler, reliable, and didn't disable anything in my car. No wonder the guy had a weird vibe! I would have given them 5 stars if they had wired correctly, but the job was rushed and sloppy. He didn't create a solution. He created a problem! Now I'm going to have to get my brother to help me fix this. He said the tech most likely installed the tap with only one fuse (for the BTC-Five). Or inserted it backwards, cutting off power to the original circuit. Or used a single-slot tap, which reroutes power entirely to the new device. This experience taught me how to reclaim my install and turn shortcuts into teachable upgrades. If you're integrating amps or planning full audio control, skip the aux hack and wire it properly. I wasn't impressed with this install. What a total waste of money!!!!!!
