Let me start by saying that I upgraded a phone recently at a Parker, CO location and had a great experience! The sales person took the time to walk me through options that fit me/ my budget, went out of his way to find deals to bring down the price, and made sure that I left the store with a new phone that was fully set up and ready to use. This experience in Lone Tree was the opposite... First the sales person told us that we could not buy the phone through the store because we did not want to purchase the additional warranty. He said that we would have to login to the app/ website instead. I asked why we couldn't just buy through the store (that we drove to/ walked into). He said to purchase a phone without a warranty that we would have to talk to the manager and get an additional sales pitch. I told him that I was fine with that and would also tell the manager no thank you regarding the warranty. He insisted on the order through the website so we went ahead and jumped through the extra hoops to do this. I'n a low voice the sales person apologized for the inconvenience and told me that the manager puts a lot of pressure on them to only make sales through the store if the customer purchases the additional warranty. After we purchased the phone we were told that we would have to wait an additional amount of time for the sale to process. I'm assuming this is because the sale was done through the website instead of the store... We said ok... and asked about purchasing a case and screen protector. The sales person told us that we shouldn't purchase these in store because they are overpriced. We were told that we would spend between $50-$60 for a case in the store and could spend half of that elsewhere. Since we had the additional time to wait I asked for a recommendation on where to go. We were told to go to Zagg inside of the Park Meadows Mall. The sales person told us that both the case and screen protector would be cheaper there. We drove over to Zagg, stood in the long line, purchased the least expensive case for $50..., and were told that they did not have/ sell kits to apply screen protectors. They only had screen protectors that they applied within their kiosk. Finally we went back to the store to pick up the phone. I told them that we made the extra trip for the case and screen protector and there was really no difference in price (plus we still needed to buy the screen protector in the Verizon store). This sales person told me that most of their cases actually range between $80 and $100 so I still got a better deal by making the extra trip... I told him that we were very disappointed with our experience at this point and asked if they could make it right. He said "no, the manager just left the store". He then finished our interaction by not talking to me and whistled an upbeat little tune. Overall my wife and I (and two antsy kids) just wanted to upgrade a phone and buy a couple accessories. This should have been a simple process and it has been before (at a different location). Making your customers do extra work so that a warranty rejection does not reflect upon your store is a bad look. Also pushing your customers to purchase accessories outside of your store can't be great for businesses. With my last upgrade (in Parker, CO) I left the store feeling that I was taken care of and was able to use my new phone right away. Your store definitely took a different approach. read more

My husband and I signed up as new customers with Verizon a couple of weeks ago. The salesperson that signed us up impressed us at first, but we later discovered that she failed to do several things that had to be done in order for our texting and voicemail to work properly. She also filled out our rebate paperwork incorrectly resulting in an email from Verizon rebate center that the rebates could not be processed. We then received our first bill and it was completely incorrect. We were not happy. We went to the store yesterday and by chance were assigned to salesperson Heather Olson. What followed was the ABSOLUTE BEST customer service experience that we have had in a very long time. While we were in the store, we also discovered that my husband's camera lens had a manufacturing defect as well. Heather spent approximately 3.5 hours with us--fixing our billing issues, resolving the rebate problem by calling the rebate center and faxing the correct information, and switching out my husband's phone for a new one. Even though she would not see a penny of commission for any of her efforts, she did not rush through any of it. She apologized several times for our disappointment in our original experience. She also spent alot of time showing us tips on how to use our phones. If you want a great Verizon experience, make sure that you go to see Heather at the Verizon store at 8461 S. Now I see there's a reason why this store has a poor rating. Their dec 20th pm manager is one of the most racist, sexist men I have ever met. My daughter went to the store to get the screen protector installed (it had been previously purchased at that location earlier in the week) and the manager said it would take 3 minutes to install so there was no reason to put her name down on the list. That translated to 35 minutes because every man that kept walking into the store had priority over her (even though they didn't buy much). She left the store after 35 minutes. When I came back 10 minutes later to confront him he called me a liar and that now he would have to put me on the list if I wanted to get the screen protector installed. He did acknowledge that my daughter was there but that we were making up stories. I have never been so humiliated and insulted by anyone before. I asked for a refund for the protector and he refused unless I waited and he proceeded to walk away while I was still talking to him. I haven't used the woman/Latino card before but it was too obvious that he just didn't want to deal with a female Latino customer. Verizon corporate needs to pay better attention to the people they hire ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE MANAGERS!!!! read more

This was the WORST most frustrating customer service I have ever experienced. They tried to port my number from Xfinity and I wasted 3.5 HOURS in the store and was charged twice for a prepay plan (which is what I wanted) and then the day after was billed $141 for a post pay plan. I spent hours on the phone with Verizon the next day and canceled service altogether. I returned my iphone 11 pro to the apple store as well and was told by them the sim card was still active with a temporary number. I have disputes in to my VISA company because Verizon was useless. After being completely frustrated with Verizon customer service for weeks I went into this store. Susan Torres took well over an hour with me calling the service center and straightening things out. She got me my new phone, adjusted my plan so it made more sense and was awesome throughout the whole experience. I was going to switch to another cell provider but Susan restored my faith in Verizon. She was professional, very competent and efficient. She took a great deal of time with us. We did have to return to the store a couple of days after the initial purchase due to an issue with a phone that was shipped out of state . And the screen wasn't even attached properly as when the screen was facing down towards the ground, the screen was barely hanging on to the frame and it was pretty much detached from the frame. And so the amount that I paid for the screen repair sucks, it wasn't even done properly the screen was barely attached. I had to tape it myself. And the Face ID doesn't even work. So the work ethic on this iPad suck. Do not come to this phone plug. They will charge you a lot, and barely make it your money's worth.
