Like most folks these days, I do most of my shopping online, but there is something about touching a laptop and the keyboard before purchasing. I knew what I was after, so I headed to the discount laptop wall, after a quick test drive, I chose the HP I wanted and headed to the register. Service was ok. They were well staffed, but the associates were all chatting with each other, not too focused on the customers, especially in the computer area. Store is clean and in good condition. So far, happy with my laptop purchase. Solid $199 that does exactly what I need it to do, without issue.

The washer needed service and I contacted Best Buy customer service and they sent a tech to repair the washer. The tech accidentally put a small dent in the dryer during the washer repair and was honest and told me about it. The selector dial on the dryer had been getting intermittent and I asked about repairing it. He stated when he came back for the dial issue he would replace the top on the dryer. When I called Best Buy for another appointment, I found out they were not sending the same people out to do the repair on the dryer. I told them that the tech that was originally sent was from LG. They told me that they do not use LG and only use the geek squad. They keep telling me that I have to go to LG to repair the dryer top and I have tried to explain to them several times that they sent this tech to my home and the tech told me I have to go through Best Buy. Best Buy sent this company to my home and now they are not only avoiding responsibility for that, they are telling me that I have to contact LG to get the dent in the dryer top repaired. The company is deceptive and evasive. I contacted the BBB and they were as useless as the Best Buy Customer service.

Of course you wouldn't know that as they know for a fact if they posted that specific info at their registers then they would quickly become the one business in america that people would refuse to spend cash at. They work on commissions and at their Gallatin location the store manager trains them on being worse than any car salesman you've ever met. It must be that way because once you meet the guy he does the same exact things and acts the same as his employee's. They will say ANYTHING to get you to buy something sometimes not even saying anything as one of their employees added a product at the register when I was in the process of making a very, very large purchase of a new computer over 2000 dollars. He explained it by showing me the product and saying "if you install this you will get 40% off the price of it". What he didn't tell me was that he charged me 100$ for the product and did not tell me so I had thought by his statement IF I installed the product AND bought it (online like you literally do with 90% of this type of item) I would get a huge discount). The manager had no clue as to why after I found out the employee "slipped in" the other product I didn't know that I was buying why I would bring everything back........... Where I grew up once you know for a fact someone lied to your face (really committed fraud) you don't do any business with them at all period because you can't trust them! I literally, literally had to explain that to the store manager 3 times because (here comes the teaching his staff to be lying salesmen part) acted as if he totally did not understand what I meant the three times I had said your employee flat out lied to me just to get me to buy the product. He kept trying to jump past that specific action that led us to the return and he kept asking things instead like "so it didn't perform as you wanted or it didn't this or that" (he was trying to go down that specific road to put everything on the product that I purchased if it was faulty or not and NOT that it was his teaching his employee's to say anything and do anything just to make a profit and allowing them to use the tactics that they do to sell products as they do. Imagine literally telling someone that their employee "sold" you something without your knowledge and that he flat out lied to your face repeatedly about the actual main purchase you were buying and after three times each time he looks you in the face and says "I don't understand was there something wrong with the product"? That is exactly what happened no somewhat or sort of but EXACTLY how it happened. To make it worse the employee in the parking lot got my phone number directly after buying the computer whe he brought it out he wanted to buy MY old computer (which is totally against their company policy and I know that because he told me to my face "I'm not supposed to do this but I been looking for a bigger tower case" and you tell the store manager that including that this employee has my personal number in his phone right now and he can go look just to prove he's a liar only for the manager to blow me off insinuating I was just saying things at that point due to being mad. So calling me a liar. That's why I know the manager is telling them to do these things, he won't even go check a phone for proof of deception. Everything was a deflection then they had to "check" to make sure it still worked (totally get that) but after like 45 minutes in a totally empty store it became the manager trying to make me stand there as long as possible just to get me the maddest. He had literally 1 page to fill out all of which equated out to be less than a half a paragraph which (while at this point he was finally back at the counter) I stood there for an additional 20 minutes waiting on that one page to be completed. Oh you have no idea I could go on for a minute and then if that wasn't enough the district manager refuses to call anyone back (read the other reviews) because again these people have knowledge that their employees do slimy things and they let them and it's all good to them. No accountability, as long as they keep selling they don't care how they do it. All I can say is thankfully I can hold my temper but I guarantee just by the way the manager doesn't know any better when to stop pushing and as crazy as people are today I'm glad that I don't work there because it's only a matter of time when he will pull that with someone who doesn't deal with things like normal people. I've was in the military for over 10 years and have been in active zones. I was so upset I was literally shaking not from anger but just from stress you have no idea. Do yourself a favor even if you have to pay more it's worth it to go somewhere else!

Service is awful, if you receive any at all. Rarely staff on the floor to assist, and when they do assist, you are a clear bother. Register staff are no better, and are actively on their phones will ringing you out. It is shocking, especially for Target, that they allow this level of service. This location is notorious for having stock issues, whether it be disastrously stocked shelves with items in wrong places or completely empty shelves. Additionally, and one of the biggest pain points of this location is the amount of goods that are now behind plexiglass, requiring an associate to come unlock for you. This is a stock and service issue, as there have been many times the wait has caused us to simply leave. No one should have to wait 10+ minutes to get an item from the shelf. If you are going to have items that require staff assistance, then you need to staff appropriately. Cleanliness and condition are not much better. Bathrooms are rarely clean, empty containers and trash strewn throughout the store...Conditionally, this Target needs more than a refresh, a good demolish and rebuild would be best. They had a good selection of indoor and outdoor furniture, along with a wide variety of household appliances, home decor, cabinets, storage bins, dining sets, mattresses, mowers, power tools and a mix of a few other random items. The store is in an old plaza and shows its age. The exterior isn't the most welcoming, but I will say that our experience inside was not what was expected from the outside. It was a bit better than expected. Service was friendly. The cashier/associate was helpful and available as needed. We laid eyes on a few things, and ultimately bought a smokeless wood fire pit that was around $100 after discount...which is a great price! Overall, this was our first time at this Overstock Outlet and while it may not be our last, we do enjoy their sister locations a bit better.
