Store manager is AWFULLLLL worst experience she was rude and disrespectful the other employees weren't any better

I went in to upgrade my phone. I am sure the spelling is incorrect but Alesia assisted me. She helped remove an old tablet from my account and assisted me with my purchase. Because I had to order the phone, I returned to have the information transferred and turn in my old phone, and she assisted me with that also. She listened to my needs and was very gracious. They were very busy, but all the associates were very courteous and helpful. read more

Came in at 4, no one greeted me for the first 10 mins that I wandered like a chicken. It was pretty busy, but the lack of customer service and greeting customers once they came in was unreal. I sat next to a guy who had already been there for an hour and he said they didn't greet him either. We sat there for an additional hour watched ppl come and go with no urgency for the staff to greet or move along with the customers they had for an hour already. We sat there and watched as the black haired, older white lady, allowed her customer to make multiple personal phone calls walk back and forth trying to figure out what she wanted all within an hour and half.... Again, no urgency to the 5-6 ppl after me waiting. Who's the manager??? Where is the customer service??? Where is the urgency when you have 10 ppl at the door waiting??? This is unacceptable. And as I sit here writing this review, the same lady and her customers are still at it and we going into 2 hours, at least that is what the guy next to me has recorded) with her child saying how he ready to go... hell so am I at this point!! read more

They wanted 30 dollars to transfer photos from my old phone to my new iPhone which I'm paying for yet they still wanted 30 really just to transfer photos.. bite me the guy really needs to learn how to help !!! The following has been my experience with Verizon: I currently have FIOS, 4 cell phone lines, 2 watch lines, and 2 iPad lines with Verizon. Needless to say, I spend a lot of money with Verizon. . . I called customer service on 6.6.2025 to find out why my monthly bill had increased an additional $180. The invoice only said one time charge. It did not say what it was for. The very kind reperesentative I spoke to did some research and explained to me that it was a reconnection fee because I had not paid my bill on time the month prior. There is apparently 1 reconnection fee per device. Like I said, I have many devices with Verizon... All bought directly from Verizon btw. He offered to take care of the reconnection fee this time due to how loyal I have been with Verizon. I thought that was very generous and accepted, of course. He assured me that his supervisor would handle it. He told me it would be handled by the following Wednesday. I asked if I could pay the difference to assure my bill was paid on time. He said yes, no problem. I did. Fast forward, Thursday comes around and I get a $40 fee from my bank because Verizon attempted to auto-draft that $180 that I was told would be credited. So, now I'm out $180 from Verizon and $40 from my bank. I called Verizon today to find out why the credit was not applied, as promised. The new agent says that he can only give me a $20 credit as a gift, but really shouldn't even do that. I explain what I've detailed above to him. He puts me on hold again and says his supervisor will only give an additional $20, which will give me a $40 credit. I told him I didn't understand because I had already been promised a full credit. I asked to speak with this supervisor. She's clearly upset to have to talk to me and says to me that whatever happened on my last call is not her concern. Her concern is dealing with me now. She says she will only give me a $20 credit, that I lost out on the $40 option when I asked to speak to her. She was so rude and when I asked for her manager she told me I could not talk to anyone else. This is noone else. I explained that there is always someone else, possibly someone here in America, I could speak to. She said it is not relevant where she lives and that I would get no one else. So, I thanked her for being so very candid and told her I should look to take my business elsewhere because of her attitude. I am so over being bullied by customer service agents. I spend over $500 a month with Verizon. This is not the way to keep loyal customers. read more

I responded to a Verizon ad about the Fios internet services. It sounded great. My equipment was installed in late May. I kept the service for only two months. During that time with Fios, I learned the multiple numbers they provide for different things. Verizon Mobile and Verizon Fios are separate and apparently do not communicate together well. LSS: I had 13 days of outages/no service over less than two months. I had to launch 12 service tickets. I spoke with over 20 Verizon employees, each one promising to fix the problems but not one fixed anything. I finally gave up, went back to Xfinity, and turned in my Verizon equipment. That was three weeks ago. Imagine my surprise when my checking account this morning (mid-August) showed a draft going to Verizon for services going into September! I don't even have an account but they took advance payment anyway. I called and asked "Didn't the stop services people tell the billing people the account was closed?" The Verizon employee got defensive! I was informed I would get a refund of today's bill but not by draft, I have to wait almost a month to get a paper check in snail mail from them. I fell for their line about quality/fiber et al, and literally paid for it in aggravation, excessive wait times on the phone, and some employees overseas whose English I could barely understand. I have never had as bad a business experience as I have had with Verizon Fios. I have wasted hours and hours, then days and days, just waiting or asking them to fix what they started. This was my experience and my opinion which is: I will not use Verizon again. Their business model is horrilbe and frustrating for those who need services. read more

We just had the worst customer service experience ever at a Verizon store. This is the fourth iPhone I have purchased through Verizon in the past 6 months - I am not unaware of how these transactions are supposed to proceed. 1. Do not sell customers a screen protector that is designed to be applied using a specific machine (Belkin) and which contains zero instructions in the package regarding application, and then tell customers that it'll be $30 to apply said screen protector. After my husband objected, the rep brought the machine over - again, with zero assistance. My husband used the QR code on the bottom of the machine to pull up an EMPLOYEE TRAINING VIDEO, and after watching the video, was able to apply the screen protector using the machine. 2. Do not lie to customers. We asked to speak to the store manager, and the rep pointed her out and said she would send her over. After furtive, glancing conversation, the manager disappeared and the rep returned to say she was "in an employee meeting." The same manager returned to the floor less than 5 minutes later, refusing to look our way. She never followed up with us. 3. We waited an extra 30 minutes to get back with our original rep, who had told us that she would take our trade in at the store. When I finally intercepted her after she waited on 3 sets of customer without returning to check on us, she told me I had to mail the phone in. If we had known that, we would have finished the set up ourselves at home. 4. This experience was over 2 hours of being treated like we were unreasonable for asking for assistance with things that were not possible for us to accomplish without customer service help. We do have choices - I could have made the same transaction online, or change my buying strategy entirely and start purchasing phones through the Apple Store. This review is one star because I could not leave 0 stars. Never have I been treated so poorly while simultaneously spending almost 2K. read more

I wish i could give zero stars. Someone i know just bought a phone and it wasn't working they tried to go back in RIGHT AFTER THEY BOUGHT IT and they closed and won't even come to the door to acknowledge the customer. Absolutely ridiculous and no walk ins might i add. read more

Called customer service waited for a supervisor bit hung up. I spoke to the representative about my bill, according to the representative since I'm in a grandfather plan my price increases but if I switch to a now grandfather plan my bill is lowered and don't have to pay increase. It just doesn't make sense. read more

I went to this store recently and really appreciated the safety procedures they have in place. It might mean waiting an extra few minutes, but it's definitely worth it. Also Kim was incredibly helpful and I would definitely go to this location again just for her assistance. read more

Without a doubt the WORST and the RUDEST people I have EVER come across in my entire life!!!! They could care less about what you are there for and on top of that they are flat out rude to you!! The manager had the nerve to tell us he was going to ask us to leave the store!! You have got to be joking me!!! Was in there for 2.5 hours to ask why they did not disconnect service to old phone when purchasing a new phone AND wanted to STOP data service to an IPAD. Long story but the person I was with could not remember their password due to being so long ago and the Manager would NOT assist in ANY way with helping them get to account. I went to this store on 8/22/22 for replacement of a 800 series Jetpack. After waiting about 2 hours, I showed the employee my device, which was paid for, and explained it was not charging to capacity so I needed to replace it. He brought me a new one that was only $79.99. I commented that that was much cheaper and smaller than the one I was replacing that I paid $200 for. It was the only option presented. I paid the 80 bucks and left. The Jetpack barely picked up a signal. Shortly thereafter I went to another store and bought a 2100 series Jetpack which works fine. They said I had to return the other one to the store I bought it at and mentioned that I had insurance. I forgot that fact and the Mech. store guy didn't mention it. Today on 9/14/22 I went back to the Mech. store to return the 80$ device and was told it would cost me $50 to return it as a restocking fee. The employee there at 10am, (I did not get a name) was totally unconcerned. I just left keeping the device. I will never go back to this store and will stop Verizon completely first chance my home can pick up another signal. BTW, I've been a VZW customer for 18 yrs. read more

Verizon knows I'm in recovery from open heart surgery, they also know I'm paid ahead. But because the store manager didn't like the tone of my voice, shoved me in the back as I was walking away to leave the store! He knew I'd just had open heart surgery. Verizon has farther endangered my life by suspending my cell phone service. I have engaged a new cellphone service provider, new sim card and all, but Verzion has blocked the service! My only way to reach my health care providers or Emergency Services in the event of an emergency during my recovery! read more

iphone i had got locked into a reboot cycle and was not working, needed new phone immediately because of business is run through it. So went to this Verizon store and the Sales women was confusing trying to sell me the most expensive phone understanding that I would have to trade in a working phone for that particular deal. So I guess she didnt hear my problem of a non working phone but said I had 30 days to try to fix the non working phone to get that new Iphone 13 at the promo price. Just beyond m ewhy she would recommend that route on the hope the broken phone would work but offered no help in fixing it. Then it got worse from there, I just needed a phone so i got a deal for a monthly payment without Trade-in of broken phone with the explicit instructions to here to not change plans or add any kind of insurance which i repeated a dozen times. I purchased an Iphone 11 and was a lil more suspicous of this lady sales rep when she came out with screen protectors which I never asked for and started ringing me up until i had to push them away to make it clear they were unwanted. I got home from store and was curious about what she actually did to my account and was shocked when I logged into Verizon Account online and she had changed my service plan to a more expensive plan and Insurance that cost $17.95 a month again explicitly asked not to sign up for. This is straight Fraud in my book. I wish i could give negative stars...The absolute WORST Verizon store I've ever visited. I was advised by the Short Pump & Midlothian store associates NOT to visit this location. (Its never good when your colleagues have nothing complimentary to say about you.) However, because I was in the area & against my better judgement I did. HUGE mistake. I went in to obtain info on how I could get me Note 8 screen protector (purchased less than 30 days ago w/ a limited warranty) replaced b/c it cracked. Roger, the rude & incompetent associate without even looking at my phone replies 'that's what happens when you drop your phone.' I was fuming to have this minimum wage making buffoon accuse me of dropping my 1000.00 phone. I approached the store manager who claimed he didn't have the corporate phone number, but GOD made Google for the persistent like me...and I will be filing a formal complaint. Resolve: I called customer service & they will be sending me a new screen protector. read more

If you are going to have wait times between .5 of an hour to 1.5 hours then you should hire more people or provide additional seating
