HORRIBLE! I turned in my 5g home internet of 10/10/2025 and have a return receipt as proof! Now, I keep getting emails reminding me to turn it in. Then MJ Manager Dave attempted to access my account 3 times a week later with out telling me! I thought it was a scammer Turns out he was only trying to "return" my product. This was on 10/17. It is now 10/20 and he hasn't called or texted me back as he assurmed me he would. Now I am stuck on hold for the past 1 hour ad 26 min with Verizon corp. Verizon Store in Mt Juliet Providence was once an excellent source for all things cell phone. Alas...it is not anymore. As a long time Verizon Wireless customer, our family has needed a little tech support for simple questions from time to time. We really liked the back counter once reserved for these matters. But slowly, Verizon has moved away from this and has now morphed into a shopping mall kiosk experience. Hocking new cell phone packages and give current customers the bums rush. We stopped in tonight with an iPhone operating system update question. We were told to increase storage and/or remove photos from the phone. "Could you offer some advice?" we asked. We were offered this terse response and (of course) with a wry smile; "Connect the phone to a computer." My wife walked out asking, "What part of the computer do I jam my phone?" Time to look for another cell phone plan? Perhaps. There's an AT&T store next to Kroger. Bet they'll pay to switch. read more

I came in Thursday 9/29/22 around 5:30pm. I had preordered the iPhone 14 and received it that day. I called the 1-800 number and asked if I could go to a Verizon store to have the phone set up and she said I absolutely could. I have terrible WiFi at home and I knew it would take forever and thought going to the store would be much quicker. Anyways, I go into the store and explain I would like to get the new phone activated and have all the data transferred and she said that their WiFi goes out every 30 minutes and that if the phone isn't done transferring then the process has to be restarted and it'll most likely take hours. I felt like it was an excuse and I said "okay that's fine let's go it." I explained the WiFi at home is terrible and it should be faster in town. Right then a man comes up and says they no longer transfer data and activate the new phones and that they're going to start charging $30 dollars to active/transfer data. I said "so someone comes and buys a $1200 phone and you can't activate it or transfer data? You just let them walk out with a phone that isn't activated/has their data on it??" And he said "yes" and I said "okay thanks for nothing!" I had one employee tell me they could, but it'll take awhile and another one says they cannot do it. It was all excuses because they did not want to do it. Verizon is a crappy overpriced phone company. The only reason I'm still with them is because I keep upgrading my phone and I can't switch without paying off a phone. This was my last straw. I will be paying this phone off and switching. My boyfriend has T-Mobile and they just gladly transferred data and activated his phone. I also want to add that the store was not busy at all. There was 2 other employees, that I could see, that were with customers, but that's it. These two employees that I had encountered weren't helping anyone so it wasn't like they were completely slammed - they were just being unhelpful and so rude. read more

Worst customer service experience ever - VERY long story, but sad to say after having this service for 2 years I am canceling immediately. I am never one to take a complaint to social media - but this is a true exception. After 4 weeks of trying to resolve an insurance claim (not with Asurion, Verizon fulfills post manuf defects) and being told every 3-5 days that the are sorry, there was a mistake, dont worry we are taking care of this right away..... I was just told today by "Josh" who is supposedly a supervisor and refused to transfer me to his manager that is literally "cheaper for them to cancel my account at this point than to fix my problem with a $100 device" - He literally said that it is not worth it to Verizon to fix it. It may have only been one device, but that should not have mattered - the fact that I have paid for the "next day replacement" insurance coverage for over a year and followed all of the instructions provided should be all that mattered. Not to mention that for 3+ weeks, 15 different representative agreed and kept telling me this would be resolved. I was completely astonished! There is NO value to customer service when you are literally told that you are not "worth enough as a customer." The silver lining is that this happened now, and not after June when my contract expired with my other carrier and I was planning to bring all 7 of our devices to Verizon. read more

My boyfriend and I both had to get new phones over the last couple weeks and it wouldn't have gone as smoothly if it weren't for Darius. Darius was AMAZING!! I was blown away at how he focused more on CUSTOMER Service vs sales. I am used to pushy salesman, but I wasn't pressured by any means. I was even close to purchasing an extra charger I didn't need, because I thought I had to. He could of let me, but instead he suggested I pass on it. I was actually shocked lol. Verizon Wireless in Mt. Juliet has the best customer services team hands down! (in my opinion). I have purchased 5 iPhones from the team there and have worked with Shane, Nelson and Alex. These guys actually take the initiative to listen to your needs and talk through a solution that works for you. I highly recommend visiting this store. read more

I had the misfortune of having to deal with these "people" at the Verizon Store in Mount Juliet today. A so called "Customer Service" agent named "Sam" (Not sure if he gave his real name - middle aged, goatee and glasses - STAY AWAY FROM HIM!) greeted my wife. As it turned out, he is not only rude, he is incompetent. We had ordered a Samsung S4 online with the $0 special that was being offered on an upgrade and unfortunately I opted for my daughter to pick it up at this store, because we live so close. Had I known what we were about to deal with I would have gladly opted for the free shipping that was offered and not have to deal with this moron. "Sam" at first told my daughter she was not eligible for an upgrade. After my daughter explained to him that it was already ordered and she was just there to pick it up, he went back and brought out a Samsung Note, the wrong phone, and told her that it would be $249, less a $50 rebate. Now, my wife explains to him that, no that wasn't the phone, and that we had already ordered an S4 which was free with a $30 upgrade fee. FREE, what did he not understand???? He brought out the phone but said we would have to pay $99 with a $50 rebate to come within 8 weeks. My wife insisted that this was not what we were told online. He continued to argue about it then he proceeded to sarcastically show my wife the $99 price tag and told her that was the price. My wife, at this point got a bit frustrated and raised her voice, saying, no, it was already set up and it was free! He turned to my daughter and said "I don't know what she does not understand, can you please explain it to her?" At this point, my wife called me and I tried to speak with him, but when I asked him name, he asked me mine, and when I gave it to him, he said I was being belligerent and put the phone down, and walked away to the manager, who, incidentally watched this all from afar but never got involved, except to call the police. I am in the Customer Service business and if I treated my customers the way this Sam treated my family, I would be looking for work. He was rude, the most rude and sarcastic agent we have ever encountered and with the intervention of two other young men (Both named Zach), we were able to get the phone under the agreed upon terms. After a lengthy conversation with Verizon, they called the store and the manager feigned ignorance. I will pursue this with the Executives at Verizon. We have been loyal customers for a great number of years and have NEVER been so poorly treated. Take your business elsewhere, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! Sam needs to work in either a Circus or at the Zoo, but nowhere near human beings! read more
