Horrible basic customer service/social skills from the only employee in store, while just sitting at his desk. Seemed irritated I was there and very terse and with responses. We came into the store to transfer a phone and get a new phone. The rep we had, Cameron, was very helpful and was very patient with us as we decided what we wanted. Also when one of us had to call their former phone company to get the account information. All and all a good experience. read more

Walked in two days before Christmas. Gal checked us in. The store was NOT crowded (we thought it would be). I'd say maybe six customers...not a lot given the day. Waited twenty minutes and asked. We were told we were next. Twenty more minutes and I asked the manager (who was taping on his pad for a few minutes before I approached) if he could help us. He snapped, "I'm helping the whole store!" Then told we were next again. A few minutes later two employees (with no customers) carried in a jovial conversation and fist bumped right in front of us before going to do something else. We left at that point. read more

I've been here twice this year and had great customer service experiences. I believe the employees were named Adam and Ricky. Both guys were very enjoyable to work with and in no hurry to move along to the next customer until every question of ours was answered. I needed to add a phone number for my 12 year old son to my phone plan on my old iPhone 6. There was some difficulty with the plan I was on, which got straightened out, then we were unable to sync my son's iCloud email because he was nominally using it for his school ipad. Fahad Bershed was helping me with trying to figure out the family sharing and why it was not syncing. I was in tears, because I really expected this to be easy, had run over from work and needed to get back, plus there was a queue of people behind me. He was so calm and said no problem, we will get it fixed and went the extra mile to get a new iCloud account set-up and synced with my phone. I am not one to get frustrated or upset easily as I know these things take time, but I had just gotten the news the day before that my father was given 6 months left to live due to cancer and I wanted my son to have this time left to text with my Dad (who at 78 is a great texter!). Fahad than gave me his card and told me to call if I had any other problems. He really made my day, when so many others would have just left me to struggle and tell me to call Apple. My phone had decided it didn't make calls anymore. I spent a grand total of 15 minutes in the store. On a Saturday no less. Immediately greeted, maybe a minute or two of waiting, and then it was my turn. Keith was an absolute Godsend, a consummate professional and very well versed in the tech they offer. The service was HORRIBLE. I came in to upgrade to a new phone (because my screen cracked nothing was accessible). The worker that spoke to me was extremely condescending and acted annoyed the entire time. Do not go to this Verizon store as they are unhelpful and do not care to help you or your phone. I was also told that NOTHING on my previous phone could be backed up. Thankfully, I went to the Apple Store and they backed up the entire phone for me. I saw Scott B.'s comment about "worse than a used car dealership" and I actually used essentially the same phrase in regards to this store. In February, 2018, my 93 year old father hobbled into this store, alone, looking very old and frail (because he IS old and frail). He is also extremely hard of hearing and can get confused easily. He asked an employee (wish I knew who it was) to replace his old cell phone and told him he wanted to pay the same amount as he was presently paying. That's it. He didn't ask for anything else and didn't want anything else. My father ended up buying (without realizing it, for the above reasons) a HUM which is installed in a car to supposedly help out in an accident, I guess. My father knew the employee was messing with his car that day, but believed the employee was doing something to improve the connection on his cell phone. I used to shop in this very store myself, and quit this store because the salespeople were so pushy, trying to sell me stuff I didn't want. In addition, Verizon is too expensive, and I'm satisfied with Sprint. Back to the story....I am paying my father's bills now since he broke his hip in March, and noticed another cell phone number on the Verizon bill and an extra 60-some dollar charge. I called customer service and that's when I found out about the HUM. My father had NO IDEA he had purchased this unwanted piece of equipment. I called the store and spoke to the GM, Vienna, (spelling??), and now I understand better why there are so many issues with this store. She was so snotty, letting me know that her employees are so stellar and fantastic, and never, ever apologized for leading an old man astray. At least she told me that I could bring the thing back for a return. Yesterday, I entered the store (for the last time, I hope) with the HUM, and an employee (Dennis) initially told me he would be unable to return it! That wasn't going to fly, so he tried to reach Vienna, who was having a nice day off. I waited many minutes while he tried to reach her, to no avail. I understand people need a day off, but is the process in this store to call a GM who is unavailable, wasting my time? Eventually, after conferring with other employees, he processed the return. It took way longer than appropriate to handle the return. However, my main issue is....it's unethical for an employee to push a debilitated person like my father to spend more money just because you can. I work in retail, and we would consider that to be extremely disrespectful. And, Vienna...read these reviews...your employees aren't as perfect as you believe, and you weren't helpful or understanding either. Maybe you all deserve each other. read more

Luis, Solutions Specialist, was extremely helpful to my daughter and I. I needed a new charger and she was in the market for a new phone. We didn't know until the end of the process, however, that she was really not up for a trade in until the next day. A bit disappointing due to Verizon policies, but other than that, perfect customer service. Luis explained the Edge program so that we could easily understand it, quite different than at other Verizon locations we had visited. read more

Bought an iPhone 7 in October of 2017. Also bought the insurance replacement plan. Unfortunately the sales person attached the insurance plan to a 4 year old phone on the account. This created enormous problems when the phone was lost and needed to be replaced. Verizon said they would correct the problem but I would have to wait 30 days to file a claim and advised placing the phone on suspension which I did. Not sure why I would have to wait 30 days since it was their error initially. Regardless, I did what they suggested but after waiting the 30 days, the claim was denied 5 different times because either the 1) phone was not in use at time of claim (it was on suspension as advised) 2) Did not have coverage at time of claim (that's because Verizon had it on wrong phone) 3) needed more information (had to resend photo ID 3 separate times) 4) needed to resend the affidavit. End result: No phone replacement. Was able to talk to Verizon manager who refunded the $13 per month insurance premium but had to go through 12 different customer service reps between Verizon and Assurion and repeat the timeline every single time. This was an awful experience. Next phone will not be purchased from Verizon. My preference would be to give Verizon ZERO stars. read more

Had a problem with my phone and took it into this store to get it fixed. I very knowledgable sales representative helped me fixed my phone and told me about all the new phones coming out this spring. I asked him if I should upgrade my phone and he said I should wait. A sign of a good sale person is when they talk you out of a sale you dont need. I wish I could remember his name, so I can promote his honesty on Yelp, but I will definately go back to this store and seek this sales person out when I upgrade my phone in the spring. read more

I've been pretty positive about Verizon service -- until I bought a Jet Pack from them in August of 2011 to provide wireless internet for college daughter -- what a disaster. I was not educated by the salesmen -- Nick --about data usage or a contract (see below). We figured out in the first month that this device uses up data in far larger quantities than a phone. I got hit with a $500 extra data charge in first month. She was watching movies so that was our problem to fix. But after that, even streaming Pandora racked up big data usage. I went from 4 GB to 8GB to try to keep up -- still going over. Finally, this month, I switched daughter to cable and shut it down. Called to cancel the line -- $150 cancellation fee! Verizon won't budge on this. I am a $5000 a year customer - 6 phones in our family -- they wouldn't waive the fee. Big mistake, Verizon, I will be shopping you at my earliest opportunity. read more

Stay away from this store. I had a salesperson who sold me a screen protector and case for the new Samsung S8 I just purchased. His name was Peter all he wants to do is sell and move along. He installed my screen protector at the time I purchase the phone and 3 weeks later it feel off. I took the phone and the screen protector back to the store and was told there was no warranty on it. 3 weeks and it falls off and you are going to say sorry to bad you should have bought the one with a warranty, which I was never offered and was never told there was no warranty. I walked out furious and feeling screwed. I called Verizon customer service and was told there was a 30 days warranty and the store should have replaced it, the woman was nice enough to send me a new one. I called the store again to tell them that there is a 30 day warranty on the protector. They argued with me that the store doesn't give the warranty, instead good customer service he argued that I was wrong and customer service gave me the protector as a courtesy. I got so made at his push back I hung up the phone. A bunch ignorant idiots. They do not serve Verizon well. read more
