Terrible!! Made a mistake and they penalized me by making me go into their store every month and pay balance

BUYER BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!!These people are a bunch of scam artists! The salesperson told us we were getting a free upgrade on the new iPhone 13 and ended up doing a "bait and switch" on us... gave us the iPhone 14 with extra fees and monthly charges. When we realized this and confronted the manager Basit and Tabitha from the resolution center, they both dismissed the fact that they changed our plan without us knowing and we were given the wrong phone. They told us that we can change the phone back to the iPhone 13 but would still have to pay extra and that the phone was NOT a free upgrade. I explained that I had a screenshot from their own computer showing the promotion but they would not honor the free upgrade. I had to call the "higher ups" at Verizon Corp. to settle the matter. This place needs to go out of business for their dishonesty and extremely poor customer service!!! read more

Renée was our salesperson. I was helping my neighbors who speak Spanish, and the wife was needing a new phone. They had Metro. We tried Cricket first and they wanted to give her an iPhone 11 for an exorbitant price, but our experience at Verizon was much different. René was open and upfront, patient and educative. We had a lot of questions and he took time to explain everything, and I was very repetitive with my questions. He was generous in his answers. He looked for every way to save us money, including a rebate. He read the papers with us. René was not just a salesperson, he was genuine and in service, loved to educate, loved to help. I may be spelling his name slightly wrong, but he has long-hair and a calm demeanor. read more

Wife bought a brand new iPhone, we bought tempered glass screen protectors for our phones. The sales rep told us I'f they crack just bring them back into the store and they would replace them free of charge. 1 month later We were at the mall and my wife's tempered glass had cracked. The owner of the authorized Verizon retailer was there. He told us that they don't replace the screens, essentially accused me of lieing. When I asked him to look up my sales rep on his system, he refused. He said they replaced all of their sales reps and he would do nothing for me. I was furious and about to leave when the sales rep that sold us originally walked through the door. The manager confronted him, the sales rep backed me up, and said it was true. The owner replaced the cracked tempered glass, but I believed only because I could prove it on the spot. What a coincidence that the sales rep would walk in just a the right time. The owner was too proud to apologize, but assured me that if either of our tempered glass cracked again he would take care of it. Fast forward to 2 months later both my wife's and mine are cracked. Went into the store to have them replaced, and they said they don't replace them. I told them the story, told them to call the owner and they refused. At the end of a day a company is only as good as their staff. And this place's staff, management and owner are ass hats. Don't deal with authorized retailer stores, you have 0 protection and they could care less about you. PS. to the owner you see my name, I'm not hiding. Stay AWAY from this store. For starters, it's not even a corporate Verizon. These people are thieves! I got 2 new phones and 2 new watches. They never asked me if I wanted insurance, they added it without my consent. They had my new phone and when the txt come through, they hit accept. It's about $18 per line time 4. Then when I went back to them the girl said (store manager) "oh they automatically add that. You have to Val to remove that. I did call and Verizon said that is not true. They would never add anything without approval from the customer. On top of the process for them to activate my devices took several hours and 2 times back to the store. Amazing service and personal attention. I purchased an Apple Watch and had to go to the Verizon store to connect the cellular feature. The employee, Lucas, who waited on me, was awesome. He greeted me and told me he will be with me once he finishes up with his current customer. Actually, he was able to take care of me while also taking care of his current customer. The setup went well and I was out in a matter of minutes. A great customer experience. Lucas was friendly, informative, and very knowledgeable. Just switched from sprint horrible service. Son c e we had Verizon I have had no dropped calls phones works all the time. Went into this store to give my military paperwork so I can get a 15% veteran discount. We (vetrans) also receive a 25% discount on acesscories. So I went into this store was 5 in the que. Oh how I hate the que. And for some reason I got seen right away the lady who was checking people in the help me with my paperwork and I bought some more items and I was out of the store in under 15 minutes which is amazing and wonderful. read more

My husband and I recently visited this location to purchase two new phones and all the necessary accessories. We found the staff helpful and attentive. Unfortunately, the screen protector that I purchased there for my new Samsung Galaxy S8 ruined the sensitivity and just didn't work out (a common problem with the curved screen), but when I returned to the store in search of a solution, the manager, Robert, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I ended up with another protector that actually allows me to USE the phone! Robert clearly understands the importance of good customer service, and he makes sure that his staff understands it too! I've hardly EVER had anything nice to say about a Verizon experience ANYWHERE, so this is really saying something! read more

My Sunday morning was soon turned upside down once I saw my up coming Verizon bill. I called to try and fix what seemed like blatant robbery a true screw with no lube. When I added a second line my intention is to lower my bill. The con artist woman who sold me the phone added insurance. I told her I have apple care. I was given insurance on the phone I did not need had to cancel increasing my mental pain. Am I unreasonable to think I should be not lied to. Lastly what poisons my piss the most is they charged a $40 activation. When asked to remove was only given the option to credit 25%. Are you kidding, I would rather pay the 40 out of principle then take 10 back. In 2-3 months - I should receive $150 for changing providers. Why anger a new customer?! This store is horrible!! My husband got my Christmas present from here because they told him they would be sure to call him and not ruin the surprise. Then they called me and announced my new phone arrived ruining my surprise present instantly. When I informed Brandon he must have just ruined a surprise because I didnt know, he laughed and didn't bother to apologize. When we told the manager Christie what happened she didn't care at all. This place went above and beyond. My son broke off the headphone jack in my husband's iPad. I initially went to The Gardens Mall to talk to the Apple Store about it. Their solution was to just buy a new iPad. I don't have that type of disposable income. So I started to sulk and walk around the mall. I saw the Verizon Store and thought they might have some little tools to work on cell phones so maybe they could help me. Sure enough they friendly staff took on the challenge even though I wasn't a paying customer. One of the employees, Chris, was able to get the broken jack out of the iPad using some tiny tweezers. I was so grateful! These people showed that they cared about more than making a buck, unlike the Apple Store. I will seriously consider buying a phone plan from them when my current contract is up. read more

I have been a loyal Verizon customer for many many years and, for the most part, have been satisfied with their service -- until today. It is Black Friday. This morning, I went online with Verizon with a desire to trade up my i-phone 5s to an i-phone 6s. My 2 year contract expires in four months. I spent 30 minutes in an online chat and the Verizon representative explained everything and told me that it was entirely possible. I printed out the chat. I then visited my local Verizon store in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and wanted to proceed with the purchase. They refused, stating that I either had to wait the four months or buy out my contract at additional cost. When presented with the printout of the chat in which Verizon had approved the sale, they shrugged their shoulders and said it was not corporate policy to do so. They did have a record that I had had a chat -- but no substantive idea what the chat was about. Thus, I have been caught up in a corporate policy cobweb and they showed absolutely no flexibility towards a loyal customer. They did indicate that they were trying to phase out the two year contract idea and persuade all comers to go on a monthly payment plan -- which was what exactly what I wanted. I cannot fathom a company that could make money on both a sale and switch a customer to a new phone at a higher price -- and then refuse to do so because of corporate policy. It could have been a win-win for all. Instead, they have one angry, frustrated customer. In the future, all my purchases will be done through Apple, not Verizon. Too bad I can't get off Verizon's network as well. read more

Don't go for the "free" tablet, Ellipsis 7. It eats battery power. This thing even runs out of battery power while it is not in use. I used it once. Decided I didn't like it and would return it. I left it sitting with 100% power. I had to recharge it just to erase it. It won't run ibooks. It is a scam. Free turns into a $70 restocking fee after just one week and one days use. They didn't tell me about that. The personnel got belligerent and uncooperative immediately. They have a too bad attitude and take it or leave it. So, I got upset. I talked loudly so other people wouldn't get the "free" tablet either. Instead of resolving the issue the girl said she would call security and refused to even take the tablet back. I didn't swear. I just got loud and talked about Sprint and At&t. My salesman told me more than once I could return the tablet with no problem even into January without a problem due to Christmas. Not once did he mention restocking fee. Check the small print. No such thing as "free" it is just a scam. If Yelp had a rating less than 1 star I would select it. First of all, be aware that this store is not a Verizon corporate store. They are an authorized dealer and if you purchase a device from them they can charge what they want. My wife and I went to this store to purchase an Ipad to replace an ipad my wife dropped and broke. We were at this store for at least 3 hours. They said they were having computer problems.The ipad my wife broke was an Air 32gbs. This series of ipad was replaced by an ipad air 2 and then subsequently with an ipad pro. All of this information I learned from contacting verizon customer service after I made my purchase of an ipad air from this store they still had in stock. Not only did they sell me an outdated device, but they also charged me $730.00 for it. An ipad air 2 64 gbs could be purchased from verizon online and at a corporate store, for $429.00. I admit my stupidity for not doing my homework before making a purchase. In addition, one of the employees who i will call "M" looked up my existing verizon account and told me that i should update my data gbs. from the 10 gbs i had to 16 gbs. because one most recent month i exceeded 10 gbs. Once again I admit my stupidity in not being aware of my historic use of data gbs. Of course the greater amount of data gbs you have the greater amount of money you pay to verizon. I am assuming that this store gets a commission on upgrading an existing account for greater data gbs. Based on the advise of "M" I consented to the upgrade. When I contacted verizon customer service, two days later, I was advised that my historic gbs data usage never exceed 4 gbs and advised that I should reduce my existing 10 gbs plan to a 4gbs. plan. I verified this with a local corporate store. Bottom line is that "M" and the store's owners, who were also involved with this transaction were taking advantage of my stupidity and ignorance and were either intentionally not being above board (I am being polite) or incredibly stupid and/or incompetent. 3 days after I did my due diligence I returned to this store. The owners were very apologetic and explained to me that they sold me a device that was not supposed to be sold in that it was for in store use only, that the pricing of $730.00 was for another apple product with 128gbs...really? They couldn't see that the device I was sold was taken out of an unopened box which clearly read Apple Ipad Air? They refunded my account but after spending 2 hours in the store and them making multiple calls to verizon they were unsuccessful in changing my plan back to 10gbs, were unable to reduce my plan to the 4gbs it should be. I went to a corporate store 5 days later and had the plan reduced to 4gbs. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. The sales persons are very nice and polite but so was the used car salesman I recently had dealings with that tried to sell me a slightly used Pinto that only was involved in one accident but did not blow up at the time.
