After trying to get this resolved through customer service to no avail Maya the manager at this store greeted me and check their availability for appointments. I was a little discouraged that I would be helped in time however she was able to get me helped in about 10 minutes and I was in and out . I have been to this Verizon store location for iPhone upgrades, troubleshooting, you name it and I'm always blown away by how accommodating the employees are, particularly Drigo Deleon. He's been very thorough in explaining what is going on and how I can fix various issues on my own, if it ever were to happen again. He's honestly gone above and beyond what I would expect from a sales rep but it goes hand in hand with what Verizon is all about. My partner and I have been dealing with a situation with our account for the last 2 weeks at this location. The most frustrating thing is having to explain the situation over and over to so many different people. Then being promised something with no follow through. And on top of that having the Solution Manager Dave, or David, be not empathic to the situation. He gave such bad customer service, how are you a leader and not know basic customer service skills. To say the least WOW! The customer service here is horrible I experienced the supervisor at the store I believe her name was Jennifer or Genesis argue with a woman who was visiting the store with her patient she was a caregiver and would not allow the caregiver to go in with her patient. The caregiver stated that her patient was epileptic and has episodes of seizures from time to time and that she needed to be in the store to assist him. The supervisor laughed and did not allow this woman to go in and decided to argue with her and said if something happens to him, we will call you but you will have to wait outside regardless due to COVID-19. I then saw another representative allow two people in the store and their excuse was because a young girl was under 18. They did not care about the well-being of this gentleman who had a serious health condition they were not sympathetic at all to the situation she went into a yelling match with the caregiver and pretty much said OH WELL. The supervisor then refused to provide any information to this woman for her boss or corporate and said Goodluck trying to reach anyone that she won't get in trouble. I'm shocked! This manager should be fired I have NEVER seen such horrible service and I left I didn't want to deal with this store and I took my business elsewhere. This girl laughed at someone's health condition as if it were a joke. Something needs to be done it broke my heart how someone was so careless about another persons health. I went to Verizon to upgrade my phone and as I entered everyone was looking down at their phones. There was one other associate helping customers but other than that I had to walk up to the desk where three guys and a woman were behind and asked for assistance. Anna assisted me and asked what I wanted so then she asked me what color and she said they can't show colors so I chose the "gold" iPhone. She took about 20 min to bring it out. Before I signed the contract I asked if I can see the phone before purchasing g and she said no. She also tried selling me accessories and seemed to be upset when I said I was not interested. Lastly she asked if I wanted a bag for the phone and I said yes. I signed the contract and she said have a nice day. I thought she would set it up for me as I had a meeting right after and had no directions or contacts to call. She said they don't take care of set ups anymore. A few days later I went to Sherman oaks to get another phone and they gladly assisted me and set everything up with no problem. I was t expecting them to set up because I thought it was a new policy but they said that Anna should have helped me. read more

This store is absolutely terrible. If I could give them zero stars I would. I went in there because I was having an issue with my phone GPS and the girl put my name down and said someone would be right with me. About an hour and a half later I finally asked how much longer it would be until someone could look at my phone and it seems as if they had forgotten about me that my name was never really put into the system because within two minutes someone was magically able to help me. After all of that I was told that it would be better to take my iPhone to the Apple Store where they could be able to help me more efficiently than the Verizon store. Really?? I want an iPhone so bad. This Verizon location is the busiest location I have been to, however the people who work here, work their asses off. The customer service that Jaime provided me was excellent. He was interrupted three times by some irritating customer with no manners and was still able to provide me with top notch customer service. Yeah I would agree that this is the busiest location i have been to, and I have to tell you the way the store was being managed on my last two visits was not impressive. I went to the customer service side of the store, I was number 5 on the list. There was only one "representative" working the counters. It took me 45min to get my name called, and when I looked over to the sales side, not only were they being helped faster; I saw some representatives lingering around talking to each other. Aside from that, my experiences at this store have been pretty bad. My first time that I've gone, I was sold a phone that had a jacked up price. When I looked at the prices online, I felt so taken advantage of. I tried going back, but I was pretty turned down. My most recent experience was me going into the store to buy a wall charger for my phone. The rep was to focused on making his sale of 2 chargers and a memory card that he sold me the wrong charger. I went back, got it exchange spoke to him about the discounts I qualified through my work, and he said he would apply that. He did the exchange and didn't didnt apply the discount. I looked at my receipt and said, "is the discount included?" and he said, "no because the sale was done a time before the discount could take effect." So i told him, i wanted to return the item, and repurchase it with the discount. I know the job is so sales driven, but when you mess up twice on the same person, there is no way a person will be satisfied with the store. I dont recommend you go to this store, i would much rather drive 15miles more to get to my second closest store. read more

The service sucks... Well, the service itself is good, but every time I go in here it takes 30 mins or more to speak with a person and that sucks. Fortunately, they have payment kiosks so I can make payments quickly. I have had the occasional unhelpful employee, but that just leads to them getting someone else to help. I suggest going to a nicer area if you have questions about products, they always seem to enjoy answering questions unlike these lower class locations... I've been with Verizon Wireless for years. I would dare say for the amount of time that Verizon Wireless has been providing wireless services. So I have no real qualms about the carrier itself. This store, however... this store is something else. My brother went in to upgrade his line that's on our family plan and they told him "sorry, you're not eligible for an upgrade." Thing is, he had been eligible for four months already. So they give him a big run around, try to sell him up on lines we don't need, phones he doesn't want... all he wants is his new every two. "Nope" they tell him... "no upgrade." After much frustration my brother finally gives in... he just needs a new damn phone. Oh, they tell him, we can give you the sale price blah, blah, blah... yeah whatever. So my brother walks out with a new Droid X (cool phone), with a hefty price tag and I jump online and notice... these knuckle-heads used MY early upgrade on his phone, extended the contract on my line and left his with an unused new every two and an open contract. So I call in and they tell me a whole lot of nothing. After I tell them how they just jumbled up our lines and contracts, they casually say "oh, just use his upgrade, easy fix." Well you see... I was ever so patiently waiting for my NE2 to come around in the fall when I know there will be a nice new Droid released and not have to deal with early upgrade fees, which I will have to deal with now. I'd rather be dragged through shards of glass than deal with these guys again. read more

Shameful, irresponsible customer service. They neglected to cancel my service after I returned the phone within 5 days of purchase and paid the $35 restocking fee. It's been over 8 months and I still receive letters from collection agencies that I owe them early termination fees. Every time I call the store manager, Julio, he tells me that he'd take care of it. As predicted, he NEVER does anything so I have to try to fix this ongoing problem myself. My credit is now ruined because of them. DO NOT go to this store. It deserves 0 star. read more

A mutual friend recommended I see Edwin Can at Panorama City because she had had a wonderful experience and thought he was a sincere sales person. I took her advice, and thank goodness I did - Edwin turned my phone-purchasing experience into a treat. He was extremely patient and informative when I peppered him with questions about store promotions, and was obviously very tech savvy/aware when I asked him about the pros and cons of the top selling Android, IOS and Windows phones. Instead of pushing to make a sale as quickly as possible, Edwin stepped back and let me decide which phone would be the best fit. Even though he'd already exceeded my expectations as a sales person, he took it up yet another notch by staying past the end of his shift to explain how the billing cycle/online billing stuff worked, and to streamline the rebate process for me (he basically did everything but fill it out!). Amazing! I think actions speak louder than words, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to spell it out either - Edwin was all the things a great salesperson should be: courteous, helpful, and understanding of my needs as a customer. Once you are being helped the customer service reps are so scattered and all over the place. One of the times I went to this store the guy helping me was helping me and one other person at the same time and i was in the store like 2 hours. So I went to this location to get a new phone. The company I work for supplies our phones so I'm under a business plan. I've had problems with my phone for over a year and kept getting refurbished ones though insurance. So I was like enough is enough I'm going to upgrade and just buy a brand new phone. After waiting about 30 min even though the store was pretty much empty, I had some lady help me. I forgot her name but she was real cool and helped me pick out another Android with pretty much the same features of my old phone. It's a work phone so I don't need anything fancy or complicated. The phone I ended up getting was the Moto Force. You can purchase a separate battery pack for it too so I would always have battery. I'm on my phone all day so I always had battery issues. Everything was going nice and smooth. Then we get to the part of where we're getting ready to pay. She says that some other guy and I don't remember his name is a business specialist and wants to discuss how he can make our plan lower. So I nicely tell him that I'm not interested so basically please don't waste your breath explaining anything to me. It's a business account and I'm just an employee I have no authorization to change anything. So he replies back to me saying that I'm "being standoffish and he would like my bosses number so he can explain how he can make the bill lower." Wow.... I was so insulted and pissed. I'm just like not interested I only came here to get a new phone so calling my boss isn't necessary and I know him well and he's not interested. He keeps going and insulting me more and more and finally goes on his way. Talk about rude. The worst part is I was so mad at him saying I'm standoffish I didn't even get his name. How unprofessional and rude. I will never return to this store no matter what. Worst part is the new phone doesn't work either and I need to take it back. By looking at the reviews below i am not surprised. I went in thinking it would take about hour to get to a representative. Well it depends when you come in. Went on Sunday 7/20/14 2:30ish. Young man named Dennis helped my out the minute i walked in. He helped me select an Iphone5 and talked to me about the tablet Verizon was offering. At the beginning i was not interested because i was in a hurry to get out of there. He explained to me that the tablet is FREE but it would be 30 to activate and 10 a month, which i thought hey not bad everyone in my family has a tablet except me. I was happy with the service he gave me and a run down with my purchase. The nice thing about him he got my things together and walked me out. I have had to go here quite a few times as it seems like I always have issues with my first phone of each type I get. The lines can be very long and it can take quite awhile to get helped. However the staff has always been quite helpful once you get to them and they always manage to get my phone either working or replaced. Thus far Verizon has been the best service I have had.. and I have gone through the carriers over the years. So I will stick with them. And I really love my Droid. :-) read more
