Big location with overall good service. Since there are not too many of these locations in the valley it can get really busy. If I am not mistaken I think the nearest store to this one would be in Burbank. Just plan to stay a while if you stop by on a Saturday. Like I said service is good not amazing but good enough to not complain. Parking sucks big time. They share the lot with other shops in a busy are so keep that in mind. read more

If I could give this store a negative rating believe me I would if I could! In the 10+ years I've been a LOYAL customer to Verizon, I have NEVER had such a negative experience like the one I did when I went to this specific store on 9/28/2016. At this point I can't even remember the so-called "specialist" name I believe it was Ana, but I sure would be able to point her out in a heart beat! Just that weekend before the 28th I was in Mexico when my bag along with my fiance's passport, my passport, my ID cards (including work ID), iPad, prescription glasses, wallet ... literally everything was stolen. I had explained my situation to Ana and from the beginning she completely disregarded my situation and proceeded to ask me for some sort of identification ... mind you I literally have NOTHING. She steps off to see her manager and she the. proceeds to ask me what was the purpose of my visit. I had just explained everything that happened when I guess I didn't make sense or what have you and I re-explained my situation. I wanted to see what they would be able to do regarding me possibly getting another ipad main because I use my ipad for my ipad-driven classes at school and my database/email usage for work. The ONLY option Ana gave me was to open another line and at this point it seemed like she was more bothered to actually try to help me and trying to have me pay for additional services I didn't need. She began to tell me an additional $15 dollars for access and taxes weren't that expensive and I can just pay $10 for the line that is not in use (my ipad was a data ipad) and i refused. She was more concerned with having me pay EXTRA which was money I didn't have while adding a monthly payment for an ipad so we're talking about an additional $15 plus $20 something for the ipad itself. I kept explaining to her my financial situation and it was beyond embarrassing to be in a store almost begging for help considering I'm at PT worker and FT student. I felt beyond humiliated that I was trying to find support in a company I've been with for so long to have someone pretty much discredit my situation, humiliate me with not having "valid identification" and to add insult to injury she ends her conversation by saying this is specifically why you should have added insurance to avoid this from happening. While I completely understand yes absolutely insurance would have been able to help in this particular situation, I never intended to have my belongings stolen ESPECIALLY in a foreign country. I ended up wasting my time just to literally almost leave the store in tears on how stupid I felt and how inconsiderate Ana was. For future shoppers, please don't become just another person to be tricked into paying additional fees or made to feel that there are no options... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS VERIZON STORE IN PANORAMA CITY OFF OF VAN NUYS AND ROSCOE! I am whole-heartedly disappointed and baffled with how people like this are even considered for a job like that especially working with people. I visited this store last July 19 to purchase simple earbuds. Daniel the guy that approached me to supposedly help me, talked me into upgrading my plan, getting bluetooth earbuds and purchasing an ellipsis jetpack because it was supposed to be faster than using my iPhone hotspot. The jetpack instead slowed down everything to practically a standstill because the programs I was trying to run would freeze up and just stop working. A problem I never had when using my phone as a hotspot. So I walked back in again earlier today to try to return it. Another employee approached me at first and when I explained the situation he told me that the reason for the slow performance of the jetpack was that "you were given the wrong model for your plan". I asked what that meant and he said "I don't know why don't you ask the guy that gave it to you he's right behind you." I turned around and sure enough he was at the counter behind me and so I approached him. I again repeated my problem and he asked me for the phone number and the account and I told him twice but for some reason he couldn't get it right and kept asks me to repeat the number so I asked for a piece of paper so I could write down my number and he condescendingly told me that wasn't necessary so that started to really irritate me. Then he kept trying to convince me to just let him give me the correct model for my plan instead of returning the device I had. No apology whatsoever from him for the inconvenience he caused me. Instead he gave me an attitude that further incensed me and hence my irritation was increasing and it reflected in my voice. The manager then stepped in and instead of diffusing the situation he approached with an adversarial attitude and warned me to lower my voice or else...!!! Long story short, I was forced to leave without returning the device. This is the worst Verizon store I have ever been to and needless to say will never return here. read more

Went in at 11:00am. Told them the problem. They played around with my iphone for 10 minutes to see if it would react. When it didn't they put in an order for a new one to be shipped next day to my house and then they set up my back up iphone. I was out on my merry way in 15 minutes. The reason for the low 1 star review is because this location is not following procedure. As a business client it is difficult to be available with my employees phone to get a sim card replacement. I never had a problem with the location on Ventura Blvd, I did not approve of these employees smirking at me. I did not approve of Edwin treating me as if I were asking for the impossible. I should have been issued a new sim card for my existing business line on the spot. This is not a retailer for Verizon, this is an honest to goodness Verizon store. The employees must maintain the brand image of being the best and most common sense carrier available. Not the cheapest, the best! Let me go straight to the point. The employees here are so mean! The sales representatives are definitely not properly trained. You walk into the store and you are ignored! They treat their Spanish speaking clients worse! It really hurts me to see such poor customer service. This is the reason I ended my relationship with Verizon (due to poor customer service. Felt like high school students are running this place. I literally got my brand new IPHONE 5 c broken by an employee named Jose, got yelled at, laughed at, and eventually I asked for the store manager. WORSE. He doesn't care about how the store runs or how his employees treat its customers. I brought in my friend who is an expert in wireless communication and she was surprised to see on how the place run. Later, Jose came in and yelled at us. I had to yell back to stop him from yelling and I said , "You need to stop yelling at customers. You are an employee and I am a customer and I deserve respect and help here. I am paying for an employee to yell at me? I don't think so. So stop this!" This guy Fernando A. is a total jerk-off. I broke my phone and went in there to purchase a new phone out right. At first he said that I would have to order online. After explaining to him that my wife is pregnant and that I had to buy a phone he says he is going to speak with a manager and come back. Then he goes to see what he can do for me. comes back after "speaking" with a manager he comes out and says.... "I am willing to help you out, but only if you help us out a little bit, you know what I mean???" This guy provably geys paid minimum wage, which if he worked for my company he would be my own personal ass-wiper. He thinks he knows "sales" and thinks he is sleek and good and thinks people are morons. He is a total idiot. Anyway, he takea me and tries to sell me this home bundle service for internet, phone, etc.... And I told him that I cant just get all of this for my house in a split second decision. The representative here gave her a new one, my mom had repeatedly asked him NOT to change her plan (because we were grandfathered in for unlimited data) and the worker said that he will not. One month later we receive a bill where the guy in FACT without any permission or authorization or signature from my mom had changed our plan, and now our bill was over $200 it's normal! He changed the plan ILLEGALLY! It took us 3 weeks and the run around for us to come close to our old plan and apparently we still owe the 200$! Sunday, September 13th at the Panorama City Verizon store located on 8300 Van Nuys Blvd, Panorama City, CA 91402 Phone:(818) 920-4848. Sunday Hours of Operation 11:00am-7:00pm. My fiancé and I walked into the store at about 6:45pm to seek help in switching our Iphones. We were greeted by Victor, store manager. We told him we needed help in switching phones, my fiancé would get my Iphone 6 and I would get his Iphone 6 plus. Victor told us it was a simple process and all we needed was to switch our SIM card. We thought cool but we still needed help getting the SIM Card switched. Victor, proceeded to tell me the best way to get the SIM card out was to use a needle type object, telling me I could use my earing stud to get the card out. He indeed tried using my earing to get the card out with no success. He then makes a gesture as to be bothered and proceeded to the counter to obtain the proper tool used at the store to open the SIM card slot. We asked him to sign us in on the queue to be helped. He said he had five customers ahead of us. He didn't sign us in but proceeded to continue to open the SIM card slot - tells us that all we needed to do was to type in our icloud information into the phone. Leo and I thanked him for helping us so far. At this point, however, after trying what Victor suggested we were not successful in making the changes. My fiancé then approaches Victor at the counter to ask for further help and wanting to see an associate at the store. Victor, then seems bothered at him for his request and continues to mention he still had about five clients in the queue and that at this point the store is now closed. My fiancé politely asks him to consider seeing us to help us. Victor reluctantly, insinuated placing our names on the queue while giving a bothered look to us. We walk away and wait to be seen. We see the last customer leave and we are excited at getting our phones switched. Needless, to say, when we were approached by Marvin, store associate we told him we were his last customer and expressed we needed our phones switched. By this time it was about 7:40pm, he told us the store was now closed. We obviously, tell Marvin we were placed on the queue by Victor to be seen. He checked the system and there was no record of my fiancé name being on Victors' queue. We walked out of the store irate and we felt horrible at being denied a service from a company we have been loyal customers. I would not want any customer to experience this horrible false sense on customer service. VERIZON CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!! read more

If it weren't for the fact that I was dying for an iPhone 4S 32 in black and they just happened to have them in stock, I would not have gone here. The area isn't the nicest, but they do have their own lot which is nice. However, their customer service is absolutely terrible. I went in at 1 o'clock on a Thursday and there were many employees on hand...talking to each other ignoring me. I had called ahead to check their stock and made sure they would be able to help me but the associate I talked to was too busy with someone else and so the other employees let me just stand there until I finally had to ask someone else for help. No actually, I asked someone where the bathroom was and they pointed me to the freaking El Pollo Loco down the street and THEN I demanded someone actually help me if they wouldn't even let me use a restroom. The security guards were nice to me but the employees treated me like I was so far beneath them yet there I was switching from 10 years with T-Mobile to Verizon. Had I not already been added to a family plan, I probably wouldn't have made the switch simply due to the customer service at this store. When an employee did finally help me, of course he had to up-charge me for a case, etc, etc but at that point I had a bladder on the edge and needed to get out of there and couldn't think clearly. So of course, he took his sweet time transferring my contacts and having someone else put the protective screen on my phone (he couldn't do so, he wasn't qualified to stick a clear sticker on the phone?). But on top of all that, he took the iPhone cord to charge the phone and never gave it back! I didn't realize that until I got home but frankly, it's not worth it to go back there again! I ended up just calling Apple and they took care of the cord and apologized for my Verizon experience but I will never step foot in that store again. read more

Do I have to even give them a star? Do not go there unless you are desperate! Verizon Wireless online will send you a phone overnight, and if they charge you, you're still getting out cheaper than you would have by visiting the Panorama City store. I ordered new service for 2 phones online. An HTC Rhyme (featured on the front page of the Verizon Wireless website) and a Droid Pro. I had them next-day shipped because one of the phones was for my brother, a truck driver. He is only home a few days at a time, then gone for months. The free phone I selected for him (Droid Pro) didn't work. But we didn't have time to ship the phone back. So we needed to do an in-store exchange. On the first visit, the sales associate mockingly informed us that they haven't sold "that" phone for almost a year. No way to help us. We couldn't understand why they didn't just offer us whatever other phone they have that comes free with a new service plan. After speaking with Verizon customer support, we were assured that he doesn't have to get the same exact phone, we are entitled to whatever free phone is available, or welcome to pay a discounted rate on a non-promotional phone. So we went back, and asked to just get another HTC Rhyme. The floor manager acted like he had never even heard of an HTC Rhyme (the same phone currently featured online). When directed to a sales associate, we were told that they haven't sold that phone for a long time.... then he said that they've been selling a lot of them lately, but, oh, look, there's just one left. But we'll have to pay $50 for it. This store has no promotional free phone with new service activation. But don't worry, just pay now, and you'll be credited on your bill. I step away to call customer service and confirm that this was a lie. When I got back to the counter, another sales associate brings out another one of the same phone for another customer, again, telling them it was the last one. I was so outraged, I took a photo of the two phones & boxes sitting side by side on the counter, that I took a photo of it (with the same exact phone I got for free online). read more

What a horrible wireless service provider Verizon Wireless is. If you are on a contract and cancel early, in addition to outrageous cancellation fees they can continue billing you even without providing you service as they see fit, then report you to a collection agency and ruin your credit as they so please. Once in a contract you are locked in for years & new customers get way better deals than you. Play it safe and choose prepaid wireless with T-Mobile. They're the best out there. read more
