Just went in to upgrade our phones and the two people working there were awful. I had gone through online to price and figure every detail out, we were then told there is a $40 fee for them to switch out our phones and they couldn't waive it since we were in store. Then they showed us what the monthly bill would be and it was way over what it stated online. Then when I said never mind we will just do it ourselves, the lady got mad and slammed the back door open and was talking under her breath. It was a very odd experience and this is why doing everything online is the better way anymore, yes it would have been nice to leave with the phones but not with having to deal with all of that. read more

If it wasn't for Tyler, I would not be a Verizon customer. I was so frustrated with not being able to talk to a real person over the phone, I was ready to change carriers. Worst customer service we have ever had. We where there for 3 hours and our problem was not fixed. In that time we witnessed 3 other customers leave unhappy as well. He made it feel like it was our fault and our problem. Not an exaggeration to describe him as verbally assaulting (did not have a name tag and never introduced himself so we do not have confirmation of his name - on the receipt it said Josh but unsure if that was actually his name). Definitely won't be returning here and would recommend you all steer clear of this place as well. Still trembling from the experience. We are new to this area and have had only had great experiences with literally EVERYONE else in Port Townsend as well as in Sequim. This store is unfortunate on so many levels. read more

I can't believe that I, too, had my worst customer service experience at this Verizon store, and this man still is employed with Verizon! The manager did not wear a name tag (but had identifiable hand tattoos) and had no patience for customers. The elderly woman that was being helped before me was interrupted multiple times by the manager to tell her to call Verizon's helpline for her problem and that he could not help her. (I can imagine her needing the help line's assistance, but I was shocked by his lack of assistance in that process.) When I brought him my iPhone for an upgrade, he pushed the purchases of a phone case, upgraded storage, and an upgraded plan. When met with any sort of questioning, he said he'd stop whatever thing he was doing to help us. (When my mom asked more questions about the upgraded plan price change, he threw up his hands and said, "Do you want me to plug in the data or what?" When I pressed him about not clearly communicating how long the upgrade would take, he told me "OK, let's return the new phone." He then blamed me for not immediately protesting the length of time the upgrade would take. [I was so stunned at the length that I was speechless, trying to figure out if he was joking since the store closed soon.] It was a miscommunication, and he accused me of being solely to blame.) He then tried to bully me into accepting the lengthy upgrade anyways because reversing the purchase would take just as long (a lie). I ended up agreeing with his suggestion and did not make any upgrades nor purchases. read more

Very sketchy and pushy manager. I called to see if they had new iPhones in stock. I knew what I wanted and just wanted to know if they had any. He refused to give me a straight answer and said we had to come in person. So, my husband goes in person and they still refuse to tell him until we started the trade in/purchase process. They'd only tell him that we'd be happy with what they have. What kind of answer is that??? I didn't want to have to wait to preorder a new phone and they were the only place within an hour drive of me that *seemed* to have one in stock. So we risked it and I drove there to find that they had what I wanted...sort of. We had to pay for upgraded storage. It almost felt like a waste of my time (why couldn't he just tell us!?), but Tristan stepped in and took care of the sale and transfer of our phones so we didn't have to deal with Mike (manager) anymore. We still had to pay $100 more than we planned, but I'm glad we got it done so I don't have to go back into that store again. The Go Wireless Verizon store in Sequim is much more honest and helpful. We only didn't go with them because they were sold out of phones. read more

the customer service here is terrible. I went to buy a charging cord for my phone and the man told me a lie! he told me that my phone was going to stop working in 2 weeks. I Googled Verizon and their company has indefinitely delayed stopping service for certain phones. Then he wanted my name email address and telephone number for a simple charging cord. I said no I just wanted to buy the cord. He could not sell me the cord without getting my information. Because of the negative reviews that I see now and my experience I don't see myself using anything from Verizon in the future. read more

Staff seemed bothered that I was there and basically told me I was on my own (as a verizon customer) to figure out getting a new phone after my screen broke in my previous phone. The sales "dude" wearing a Wu Tang Clan mask and all tatted up (mentioning this for potential customers to be able to identify him, not because those identifiers are specifically significant for his lack of care for his job) talked down to me, told me to look online for a phone and was generally dismissive around my whole presence in front of him. I had gotten my previous phone at this shop but will likely not return there for any service in the future which probably suits this guy well enough cause that'll be less he has to do. read more

I'd only seen poor service reviews for this location so I wasn't optimistic. But Charles was patient and considerate when helping my elderly friend replace his cell phone. Charles got us the most basic model, because my friend has low to no tech savvy. Charles got my friends phone number transferred over and verified the setup was good to go, and accepted the old phone for their recycling program. My husband and I went in with my almost 80 year old mother to purchase her first cell phone. Christa Mergel the salesperson could not have been more patient or helpful to us. She went above and beyond with helping find the right case for my Mom's new phone even opened the boxes so she could feel it in her hands. Her patience with us was spectacular.
