I just got my second smartphone, which means I just transferred from one smartphone to another for the first time. I'm pretty tech stupid, so I was a stressed-out mess. Taylor was an absolute gem. He was completely patient and extremely knowledgeable and juggled multiple customers at once without ever making us feel neglected. He truly is an exceptional young man. This is only an authorized Verizon retailer, not an actual Verizon store. As such they aren't as helpful as they could be/would be if they were actually stewards of Verizon Wireless, who pride themselves on their customer service and helping whenever possible. I've been in here probably 5x in the last decade for various things ranging from buying new phones to changing plans. One of my family members was ill last year and even though Verizon stopped allowing her to use her old flip phone on the updated Verizon 4G network, they continued to charge her for a line access she wasn't able to use. When she recovered from her physical disability and went into this store location to ask them about it they told her there wasn't anything they could do and blamed her for the issue. This is not the customer service we used to get at this store and my family member just gave up on the issue. After spending 3 hours on the phone with Verizon today I helped resolve the issue that could have easily been resolved a year ago in this store had they just spent the time and care. We can't get back the $24/month that was charged for an entire year of non-use of a line without a phone attached but maybe this will save someone from the same type of experience. Sadly, you're better off going to Silverdale to the closest actual Verizon store to get the care you deserve. read more

When I went to Verizon for one of their special promotions, I was promised my bill would only increase by $80. Now it is 4 months later. All the start up charges have been paid and my bill has increased by $140. I would have never done this if I had known. They are liars only interested in making a sale read more

"Sorry man, systems done. Come back in an hour." I come back in an hour "Hi, I've got a pre-paid plan with a dead phone and need a new unlocked phone." "Oh sorry, we don't sell unlocked phones here. Try the walmart down the street." Go to walmart, they don't have unlocked phones. Order unlocked phone online. Head back in Saturday. "Hi, I've got a prepaid plan and this phone is dead. I just bought a new unlocked phone and need to transfer that over." "Oh sorry, we are a 3rd party Verizon store, we don't do pre-paid plan transferssssssss..." I go "Well that's frustrating. This is the 3rd time I have been in this store, asked for service, and the story keeps changing." "Well maybe you weren't understood by the previous employees." Seriously, this place sucks. Everyone has cotton in their ears and as soon as they hear a reason to send you away they do. read more

This is the particular Verizon store I choose when I have ANY problems. I dropped my cell and for the first time it smashed to smithereens. Aubrey helped me with the contact to Asurion and two days later Tim helped me actually retrieve everything, even though the old cell was totally blank. This seems easy to you who are young, but to older people it can be overwhelming. They didn't make me feel dumb, and got the job done. It was actually an enjoyable experience??? I usually dread going to the local Verizon store. In years past, I did not find them to be particularly friendly or helpful. I am happy too report that this fear has RADICALLY disappeared due to the outstanding service I received from manager Tyler. He's friendly, PATIENT, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and is 100% about the customer. His level of service is something that is sadly missing in most retail stores. He did whatever it took to resolve my problem, and even called to check that there were no more issues I am giving him a virtual standing ovation for his management skills, and can say that more business should look at him as a standard for hiring employees. The limits with this store don't have to do with the employees, they have to do with the resources they are given. I worked with two employees that helped me resolve my issues so that I didn't have to go all the way (3.5 hours one way) to a place where I would still have to wait in line. They also helped my mom the day before to adjust her iPhone. They get very busy from time to time, but I do think they do everything they can to greet and help people. This store sold unneeded router and home line to my mother in-law when she wanted a Jetpack for Internet service. Once this came to light, they performed very badly. On Sept 7th Mark Black (mngr) explained they would work with corporate to get the line removed and then we'd work on the credit of pre-mature disconnect fees and refund. Long story, he never followed up what he said he was going to do and then ignored repeated (4) messages. I had to call another person at the store and then got Mark on the phone. After him calling me "my friend" over and over, he finally gave me the corporate number as this is a franchise store. read more

I went to this store to get some help with my phone. I walked in the door and there were 2 people running the counter and both were helping customers. I was the only other person in the store. I waited 30 minutes. Not once did either of the employees say hello, or we'll be with you shortly. I finally just left. Neither of the employees said good bye or anything. I'll go elsewhere from now on for my phone needs. read more
