Went in here to get my parents new phones. The staff were amazing. Italo, Darren and JT made a process that I usually dread so seamless and easy. While they were transferring everything over we were able to run to Walmart to grab a few things we needed and when we came back we were good to go. I signed up for Verizon service through this third-party retail location after being clearly told my monthly bill would be $99. Since September 11, 2024, I have been charged an average of $399 per month instead. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this through Verizon customer service, I have received no meaningful help and have even had calls disconnected. At this point, the issue appears to be either gross misrepresentation or deceptive sales practices by this retail location. I was never informed of any plan terms that would justify charges this high, nor did I consent to them. This has caused significant financial stress and wasted countless hours trying to fix something that never should have happened. I am now pursuing formal escalation and filing complaints with Verizon corporate, the FCC, and consumer protection agencies. I would strongly caution others to get everything in writing and verify all plan details directly with Verizon corporate before signing up at this location. read more

Beware!! This is a Verizon Authorized Dealer not a Verizon store! The sign only said Verizon from what I recall. I went in with my mother-in-law on Jan 3 for a new basic smart phone since she is on my account. We were told the phone was $240 but Thomas G "Tommy" got it marked down to $227.83 "deal" for us. My MIL thought it was a great deal so I bought it for her. They didn't provide us with the receipt and I had to leave before her phone was finished setting up. He said he would email me the receipt. Since I never received the receipt I later logged into my Verizon account and saw her new phone listed as "unpaid". So I called and got them to email me the receipt. To my surprise we never paid for the phone. The $227.83 fees I was charged for included a 39.99 Set up and Go fee, a random $10 fee, an additional wall adapter, screen protector, and a new phone case. This is deceptive marketing as we asked multiple times for a hard copy of receipt for my mother in law. The receipt or explanation of fees was not provided at the time of transaction. I cannot believe they are so deceptive while smiling to your face. I signed no consents agreeing to "finance" the phone as it was our intention to pay it up front and avoid any contracts or plan changes. In addition, Tommy used my electronic signature for the credit card payment and placed it into multiple other "agreements" without my consent. The agreements were not presented to me nor sent to me. I had to log into Verizon to find them when I was verifying my plan info I came across them incidentally. This is wrong on so many levels. We confronted the store after the fact and Tommy flat out lied. Said he explained it all but that is not true. They should be shut down. The corporate Verizon stores have never treated me this way. read more

My fiancé and I came in with the plan to upgrade my phone and give my fiance my phone (which was paid off). The guy told us it would be cheaper to just trade my phone in and both get new phones. Great. We agreed it would be silly not to do that. He told us it would be $40 to ADD my fiance to the new line. And then an additional 50 for the phone. So basically my bill would go up $90 to add my fiance. That's perfect. We then had to call his mom to get his number transferred from her line to mine. That took about 30 minutes. After that was finished we were ready to check out. And SURPRISE to us he said it would be $298 PER phone so $596 total. Not including the $35 transfer fee. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!! They should've told us this UPFRONT. We already went through the hassle of getting the lines switched and he tells us then? They are a joke and lie to your face until it's time to check out. I have been a customer of Verizon since the mid 90's when they were named US West. I visited this store in Queen Creek, AZ on Tuesday January 13, 2026. I needed a new quick charging cable. The sales associate who helped me told me I was eligible for an upgrade. He told me that I could get a Samsung S25FE at no cost, or his words, "on us". Good deal, however, he lied about something. I was told the upgrade fee would be $5.00. I purchased a new fast charger and case for the new phone. He told me my monthly bill would only go up about $2.00. I paid the sales tax on the phone, the charger and the case. I currently pay $61.17 monthly. When I checked my Verizon account today, the next bill estimate was $173.00. The sales associate lied about the upgrade fee, it was $40.00. He also added additional features that he did not disclose to me, such as mobile hotspot and some other things I did not have on my current phone (S22), nor did I want these features. I hate when sales reps tell you bold face lies and add stuff to a purchase without disclosing them. I contacted Verizon and they took care of getting everything back to where it should have been, what I was expecting it to be, around $63.00. Beware of this store. They lie, do not disclose accurate costs and add additional features without asking if you want them and do not disclose that they are adding these features to your account. I would give this store a ZERO rating. They are dishonest and liars. read more

My husband and I planned to upgrade our phones and cell phone plan after he spoke with Shayne. We went back the next day to proceed with the upgrade. Shayne never remembered my husband, which was odd considering the amount of time and crazy plan we were currently on, and it hadn't been 24 hours since they'd spoken. After rehashing everything they'd gone over the day before, we spent over an hour of him only selling us the phones and charging $40 per phone to transfer the information when I had to do it for my own phone, and failed to upgrade our plan or anything else that we'd talked about. We figured this out days later when I noticed our plan hadn't changed and my husband looked at the current bill, as is. I will be calling Verizon directly. I did the whole iPhone on us and my bill increased $200 monthly which is unacceptable after hearing them saying NOTHING was going to change on my billing. An amazing young lady named Jaz helped me today. My elderly father had to get a new phone and I was struggling helping him to get it set up. I went in and she was kind , caring and patient. She had the phone done for us in no time and I took it back to my dad. I can't say enough good things about her kindness today. It's emotionally stressful at times caring for a parent and managing all of their things. When someone offers help and kindness it makes all the difference in the day. As I traded in my old phone for an upgrade, additional unauthorized charges were added without my approval , such as upgrading plan, adding protection plan, adding a phone line (for IPad that came with promotion) adding a HotSpot monthly charge. I never received a receipt yet, after requesting twice. I returned to store same day to return IPad and reverse the unauthorized additional charges. Even though IPad was never used, a $50 restocking fee would be changed, which finally was waived after I expressed anger at being so deceived. Even after being assured that my account was returned to old plan and unauthorized added services were removed, they were not. Finally took care of fixing my account at the official Verizon company store on Ellsworth Loop in Queen Creek to straighten everything out. Shame on you, Itala...I trusted you twice and you still deceived me. Perhaps your commission is more important than taking care of your customers. Taking advantage is what you did. read more

Terrible service and they beat around the bush. Went in to switch back to Verizon after a couple years of t mobile and with football coming up and with Verizon's promotion of getting Sunday on them we figured we would check it out. Went in and picked out our plans with the rep and went over the process about getting numbers transferred over and that we would be eligible for Sunday ticket and all the above and the rep said we could switch over and keep the same phone numbers and all that. Then after we switched the rep said one of our phones sims were locked and we would have to go to t mobile to get it unlocked. I asked what happens if they don't? The rep told us don't worry they won't do that and I asked again so if I go to t mobile they will unlock the sim? The rep confirmed again with confidence. So drove 20 minutes out of our way to go to t mobile only to find out that they wouldn't unlock the sim and we would have to pay out of pocket $270 to unlock the sim. We then went back to Verizon and tried to talk to the rep about it and he didn't have anything to say other than we were screwed and had to pay that. At that point we would have just stayed with t mobile but we had no option other than to fork out the money and use Verizon. So not only did the rep lie and say he could switch everything over no problem, we also still don't have Sunday which we were told we would get. So we switched over for no good reason, got screwed over, and had a terrible experience and wasted a lot of time going back and forth with t mobile and Verizon but as long as the rep gets his money earned right? Rep was a joke and will never go back into this location and will be switching back to t mobile asap. read more

The first time I went here I thought I had a good experience, though it took them about 6 hours to create my new account and transfer my numbers over from the other carrier. Then it turns out that the type of account they set me up with was not eligible for the two $200 prepaid debit cards that I submitted for online. Didn't find that out until more than a month later when the processing department sent me a denial email about my rebate redemptions. Went in today to ask about that and when I went in there was one person working and three customers waiting and the phones they normally have on display were either gone or not setup. Both "open" signs were also turned off. It looked like they were going out of business. read more

I traded in my phone November 25 2022 the mannered was who I worked with they lost or stole my phone and have not corrected the issue I have gone to the store for the pasts months got the area Manger Adam involved yet no resolution. I am paying for two phones that I don't have. Services were also added to my bill that was not agreed on. I am 56 and outraged by the lack of service I received. Going to better business and other agencies on this beware the corporate business will not help you with this either. This is the San Tan location in the Walmart plaza next to Starbucks. Marc is seriously the best manger this company has and honestly deserves a raise! He gets what needs to be done and done quickly. I came and worked with him after a month of issues that Verizon Customer Service line kept getting "error messages" and couldn't figure out. Marc immediately figured out the issue and was able to get everything figured out in a matter of 15 mins and then helped me order my new phone to the store. I cannot recommend this place enough and highly highly highly recommend if you can work with Marc, you won't be disappointed. He's a nice guy and knows his stuff! read more

Ordered a phone and expected a call when it came in. We finally decided to head down to see if it had come in. I had called the store several times but nobody picks up. The guy there told us he tried several times to call us but our phone just went to voice mail. Yah right. Where is the message then. Anyway there was no other customers in there so the other guy decides to go in back for a break. The guy helping us tries to get the new phone switched over from the other and he has trouble but finally gets it to start. Then another customer comes in and instead of seeing if our phone is done he leaves to take care of the new people leaving us still waiting for the set up. He said it's ok for us to leave before everything is downloaded but on the way home it isn't working. Because we need to be on a wifi. This guy didn't check to see if we had any specials or rebates. Don't go to this store. They twist your bill around and add unnecessary "ghost lines" and hidden charges to benefit their commission. They are not a legit Verizon store. They are shady and just help themselves with commission. They add ghost lines to your account that they do not need to add to get more commission that YOU have to pay for. They work mainly off commission not salary or hourly so they do things to your account that they do not need to do to fill their pockets.. Janky, shady tactics to take advantage for you. Had my account information stolen by an employee there Christmas 2014 and iPhones were ordered from my account using my pin that I provided to them when ordering a phone. The phone cost was billed to me at full price. Thankfully, Verizon fixed the issue and credited the money back to me, but now my account is safeguarded and the only way I can upgrade my phone is through Verizon's website.
