Verizon corporate lies to keep customers in long term contracts and has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. After being with them for over 25 years, I switched to consumer cellular, pay under $50 a month and have better connections all over the state, including around the country. Don't get suckered by Verizon they tell their customer service reps in the store, to push upgrades and keep them paying through the nose for bad service and Keep the contracts going forever. They should have a zero star rating than one star? They don't even deserve one star. read more

BEWARE!!! I went to this store today 8/12/23 at around 12:30PM in the Chandler AZ Fashion Mall. I spoke to a guy (who was not wearing a name tag) named "Chad." Mind you I have a $700 loyalty credit to use on a new phone. I picked out the phone I wanted with Chad and he continues to ring me up. This guy states "you need to purchase accessories which are a phone cube, phone case, and a phone screen protector with the promotion."I then said I don't need the accessories. He then stated, "well then you can't get the promotion." I then told him I had already spoken to a Verizon representative on the phone yesterday 8/11/23 and the representative never stated I needed accessories with the promotion. I then pulled up the promotional guidelines on my phone and I implied there are no written guidelines that state what you are wanting me to do. There was another man there at the time but he was in the back room with the door shut when this guy Chad was giving me false information. As I continued to tell Chad I'm not going to pay for accessories the other guy walked out. I then asked what will I need to pay today, if anything to have my new phone today.He then was taking awhile to figure out what to say, It was like he was maybe putting items in my cart on his side of the screen for me to purchase. Plus I already knew from speaking to the female Verizon representative on the phone the day before that there was no substantial amount due at the time . He then continued to say there would be a balance of $300 due today. I said what for? He then stated, "oh for connection/activation fee and also other taxes and fees." I then said we'll show me. He then sent me a text message where he said if I sign it, it should show me. He then stated "I can see it on my end." I stated it's not on this text message which goes to a document he wanted me to sign. He then said oh well also you need the Apple bundle as well. I started I already have all that. He then asked the guy next to him if I needed it and even his coworker agreed! I said no I don't need to pay an extra $300 and I'm not doing that. I left. I then Immediately called. Verizon and told them about this horrible experience.The representative investigated the situation of my promotion and confirmed with me that that was not true what Chat was stating and she apologized profusely. My total I paid today over the phone was $36.00. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. IN SIDE THE MALL! I am a mom with two boys who were with me. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau as well. I feel sorry for the other customers who have been scammed by these people!!!! read more

It's unfortunate there isn't an option for 0 stars. I was in this store for over 6hrs in a matter of 3 days and came away empty handed due to the staff not having a proper understanding of how to properly to do their job. Each associate, including the store manager, does NOT have the authority to make any decisions. They had to call a district manager to determine how to process things the right way, and furthermore they would go in the back store room to talk to the DM on the phone, leading me to believe they were hiding something. This is NOT a corporate Verizon Store and should be avoided at all costs. After refusing to work with this store any longer I went to a Verizon corporate store and all of my issues were resolved in less than 30 minutes. I came from Sprint and was extremely excited to begin my contract with Verizon. While my cell service with Verizon has been excellent to date, this Digitell store left a sour taste in my mouth about switching over. On 5/28, which is the 14th day, I attempted to return a phone case. The lady there advised that she may not be able to because it's outside of the 14 days. I reviewed the receipt with her that specifically states "Lifeproof iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus Fre Case Black can be returned within 14 days". She began to tell me that the first day is the first day of purchase. I told her that I wanted to speak to manager because the receipt did not specify this. She said that she was the only one there. She then said that she would call, headed to the back room, and within 30 seconds said that the Mesa manager said that nothing can be done. I made an attempt to contact the manager and received no response from the anyone. I will never buy from this company again. Bad customer service and no attempt to make it right. read more

Unprofessional, wasted my time. Go to the corporate store outside the mall. I spent over a hour sitting at this store while the associate, Dean, tried to apply my company discount. The next week I went to the corporate store, they scanned my pay-stub, and BAM, five minutes later my discount was applied. These associates don't get proper training and unless your just browsing for phones, go to a corporate store. They aren't professional and seem as if they don't care about their jobs. Especially the manager, I didn't catch her name. I've heard her say to at least 3 customers, "sorry, we can't do that, we aren't a corporate store". Don't waste your precious time. read more

So today my father and I went into this location and upgraded my phone for the Note 9, and it went smoothly. I have been to the location in the Target shopping center across the street when I got my Note 5, and it was a horrible experience. Today was totally different. Trystan, the lady who helped us was great. She was not like any of those sales people who keep hounding you to buy something. She asked us if we wanted to get insurance, and different deals and stuff that they usually ask, but only asked once. She did not ask over and over again, and there was no pressure at all. Since she was a cool person, my father ended up getting a new phone as well. This young lady is the type of person you want helping you with whatever you need when purchasing anything from any store. My mother's phone was stolen and she went here for a new one. I was out of town and unable to accompany her to take care of it like I normally would. She called me while there and let me speak to the gentleman that was helping her, Jesus. I asked him to please make sure my mother was taken care of and help her set up her new phone as she does not what to do and she was feeling anxious and scared. I have never had a major retailer's sales people lie to me and the store manager lie to Verizon corporate. I purchased a new phone and was promised a $300.00 credit back. The sales person said I would receive and email in 5 days to return my phone for credit and received $300.00 credit. Needless to say, I never received the email and called Verizon the following week and I was told they would send me the authorization by the next day. I had to call them again several days later and was told the same thing. I called for the third time and worked with a representative for over an hour and a half setting up the account, which was never set up by the sales person. The sales rep had to call a supervisor because the account was never set up and couldn't authorize the return. The supervisor said because I paid cash for the phone and didn't purchase it on a monthly contract, they couldn't do anything. The sales person who sold me the phone never mentioned signing a contract in order to receive the $300.00 rebate. The manager lied and said he heard her ask me to sign a contract.
