The Worst! I was completely coerced and lied to about my plan. I was told I could transfer my number to a plan that would not cost me more than what I was currently paying. I reiterated that I needed to keep my number and only after the fact was I told that he couldn't transfer my number and he added it as a second line. I could go on and on about what a scam rip-off the salesman is there. I'm now paying over $40 a month more and locked into 36 months. I'm reporting to the BBB. Revolting scammers . read more

If I could rate lower I would. I came in a few weeks ago to upgrade a phone on my plan. Thought we were taken care of...until the new bill was sent to us this morning. An entirely new phone line was added charging almost $200 more a month which was not agreed upon. I was just also informed that the phone plan we were sold in store doesn't even exist and we are now being charged for one of the highest plan levels and because of this our "trade in value was decreased". I've been online with Verizon customer service now for over an hour trying to correct my bill and the more they go through things with me the more I realize most of what we were told by the I store representative was false. Don't waste your time coming here I got more done through a customer service web chat which I think says a lot. read more

DON'T SHOP HERE! Bad customer service and many lies. I went in and was given a price for new phones in writing. I came back to buy the phones, showed the paper to the person, and he agreed to it. When I got the bill from Verizon, the price was more. I came back to the store to complain and, although the people there agreed with me, they said they couldn't do anything about it, and that the original person didn't work there. They said they'd have the manager call me, but he never did. In addition, I was told how long it would take in the store to transfer my data and get the phones all set up. It took many hours longer. Upon coming home, the data still had not transferred, I called the store for help, I was told that they couldn't help me over the phone, and that I'd have to come back in the next day. When I came back in, they were able to make it work, in a simple way that they could've told me over the phone. Later on the night that I was at the store, I looked at my online Verizon bill. The price of the phones was many times higher than it was supposed to be. I was angry, and had to wait until the next day to go to the store, for them to explain why it just looked like more (which they should have explained when I was first buying the phones.) I answered a short survey with my complaint, a regional manager called and left me a message to address it, I called him back, he didn't have time to talk and said he'd call back and never did. Upon getting the original quote, nothing was said about an activation fee. When I was there to buy the phones, the person waiting on me murmured that he won't charge me the activation fee. I said, "Did you say I won't get charged an activation fee?" He said that's correct, it's usually $80. Then I did get charged after all, and when I complained the next day they said there was nothing they could do. There are no prices on the accessories or on the wall by the accessories, and I was charged much higher than what they normally sell for based on looking online. Ultimately, I am still paying a higher price for the phones than what I was originally quoted. read more

Awful customer service, charged me $43. for a charge cord for an iPhone, JUST the cord, when it fell apart I called to see if I could change it for another one, they said no, no warranty at ALL on Apple accessories, when I asked to speak to the manager guy said "I'll see if he has time to call you back" of course no call, & when I called back & spoke to 'Ans' he said he'd sell me another one for 25% off. Went to this store because I was having trouble with my iphone which I bought from them last year. He confirmed that there was a problem and told me the bad news was I was beyond my one year warrantee but the good news is, I was eligible for an upgrade and it would cost me the same monthly payment that I am paying now. Of course he failed to mention that I would then be starting over with a new contract. I said, "I have insurance on this phone." He THEN did a network upgrade (took 3 seconds) and said my phone is now working!!! Why did he not do that in the first place BEFORE he tried to sell me an upgrade?? In addition, when I bought the phone last year he added insurance without ever asking me if I wanted this! They also sold me a SIM card for a brand new iPhone and then proceeded to tell me that I didn't need a SIM card because the new iPhone has an E SIM card !! Then why did u sell me a SIM card!! These guys are the worst. I went in to make a payment on my Verizon bill. I thought it would save me time from going the bank. I was charged a $3 surcharge on top of my payment and was told it would take 1/2 hour to post. Two hours later it still never posted. I called and got no help. As I was in the area I went to the actual Verizon store in Smith Haven (I later found out Rocky Point is not associated with actual Verizon). They had no record of the payment being made. In consultation with actual Verizon customer service I made another payment and was told by the people in the Rocky Point store that I could get a refund. When I went for my refund they refused and the "manager" left the store. Now I'm out $90 +$3 surcharge. Don't be duped like I was they are criminals who refuse to refund for services not rendered. read more

I've been to this Verizon store a few times over the past few months for different issues, questions, and also to trade in old phones. The service has always been courteous, honest, and professional. I specifically had encounters with two employees by the names of Ali and Christian, two very nice gentleman. I was always made aware of all of the different options available and they were attentive to my needs. They did everything in their power to help me and I never felt pushed or pressured to make purchases I didn't want to make. After one instance where activating a new phone took longer than expected, I was comped a free screen protector ($40 value) for the inconvenience. I will certainly return whenever I need services in the future. read more

I should have read the reviews before I went to this store. Make sure you read the fine print - I was told I had 14 days to return my iPhone 8!phone and get an upgrade to an 8 plus. When I tried to do this I was told there would be a 75 dollar restocking fee. The one star is because the store had air conditioning! read more

Went to this store simply because it is closest to my residence. Unfortunately didn't read its reviews beforehand. Simply wanted to switch back a multi-line account to Verizon from T-Mobile. Produced an email from Verizon showing an incentive for coming back to Verizon, with no expiration date. Talked to Mr. Ali, store manager as he introduced himself, on a Sunday. Mr. Ali acknowledged the validity of the email and laid out the process I need to go through. Given that two of the phones/lines in the family plan where active in different states, he suggested that I ask my family members to go to a Verizon store in their respective locales, buy a SIM card, and email me the pics with the SIM card numbers. Which we did. Showed up the next day to the store to seal the deal. Mr. Ali though, changed his story. He wasn't sure anymore he wants to give me the refund. Claimed that he dad to call his "account manager", whose name refused to disclose. The "account manager", as per Mr. Ali, agreed to honoring the deal. I asked for positive confirmation through email, which Mr. Ali said that he wouldn't produce. Asked him for the "account manager's" confirmation. He went again in the back of the store, and returned claiming that the "account manager" isn't willing to hold the deal anymore, let alone confirming it by email. Sleazy, used car salesman ethics and practice. Consumer fraud, in all likelihood. Verizon, close this store, it is hopeless. Potential fraud victims, take your business elsewhere, you deserve better. read more

This is by far the WORST Verizon retail store. Extremely dissatisfying and disappointing experiences. Not only is staff pushy, impatient and rude but they are unprofessional. How the one guy that's there today (name starts with an A) still has a job is beyond me. He is extremely condescending, unapproachable and hostile and has ZERO customer service skills. Not only that he LIES and tries to get one over on customers, sneaky and snotty. My family and I have been there on multiple occasions where he made our experience so unpleasant and ALWAYS appears and interacts with customers as if he's irritated and we're bothering him. He literally will argue, talk over you and contradict prior statements and proceeded to try and make my parents feel as though they were beneath him! Not to mention his rude and unprofessional attitude and tone he constantly takes with customers. Luckily we're not the only ones who've had terrible interactions here, we've all had friends or co workers with similar experiences. It's sad when you literally avoid a place of business because of their staff! Seriously, save yourself the hassle and go to the Verizon in Miller Place. I purchased a car charger for my Galaxy 6 there from the young man i believe owns the store. When I headed towards work I realized that the car charger was not good and since I need one for the day i purchased on at CVS which worked perfect the next day i went to return the defective item. There was only one customer in front of me and yet i waited 30 minutes. When he finally attempted to help me he refused to give me a full refund for a broken product he would give me only 75 percent. Offered me a exchange but i explained that i already had to buy a replacement but he didn't care so aggravated i gave in and took the replacement. funny part replacement was broke but never went back I dont want to deal with him or that store again. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS IN THIS STORE! I went in to buy cell phone cases for 2 phones which i purchased from Christian. I was charged $39.99 and $59.99 for an iphone 5 case and iphone 7 plus. They claim to see verizon wireless products and accessories however REAL verizon stores and verizon online do not sell these cases. One of the cases isnt even meant for an iphone 7 plus because of where the spot for the cellphone jack is!!! After looking at these cases online, these exact cases were retailed at $4.99 and $14.99! I went in for a refund and was told that they could not refund me the full amount due to the glass screen protector not being able to be sold after put on my phone (which was never explained when i purchases the cases) I was told that they would charge me $39.99 for that and refund the rest of my money. I ended up getting refunded $48.89 and kept the cases after going back and forth with the manager Ali. I still ended up paying $43.43 for 2 cases that were only worth $20 in total. I asked to speak to the owner and was told that I could not speak to him. I asked for his information and Ali refused to even give me a name! (Even though i heard someone talking in the back room which is where he kept going to discuss the refund with him). These people are shady scam artists that are unprofessional and are looking to take advantage of people. Do not give them any business unless you want to be ripped off and taken advantage of.
