Update: So my employees went back in the next day after Verizon corporate agreed that it was indeed a 30 day return, not a 14 day return because it was a business policy. The person at the shop pulled in the store manager who started to try to argue that the DEVICE had a 14 day return policy even if the account did not. My staff finally argued past that when they told them that they had an extra $100 dollar per iPhone "restocking fee". They returned the phones and called me. I called Verizon right away who said that Verizon's policy is a $35 dollar restocking fee no matter what the phone was. I proceeded to drive to the store myself and ask for the phones back and to undo the $135 per phone they charged - Verizon told me to just take them to another Verizon store and they would deal with it. They then told us they would not do it, and there was nothing we could do. I have to admit - at this point I pretty much lost my cool. They charged my credit card without me being there and authorizing it, they added a $100 "restocking fee onto something that should have been 35 and they were total douches about the whole experience. Well, I am not one to sit down and take being treated this poorly... and as someone who owns a PR agency my job is to have contacts with the press... press that will be hearing about this story of how the fake Verizon stores treat their customers and add all these extra fees. I'm not even sure what the purpose of this store is anymore. Years ago, I remember them being really convenient and helpful, but not anymore. Each time we've come in over the last few years, the employees always seem to have no clue what they're doing and constantly have to ask the one guy who knows what he's doing. This turns into everyone standing around waiting for the one guy to have time to help. They do sell phones, but have been out of the phone I wanted each time I've tried to purchase from here and I ended up buying it online. We came in a few weeks ago to try and remove service from a tablet and combine accounts, and the guy helping us, though he was nice, had to consult the one guy who instructed him to call Verizon for us. Literally, we were just standing there watching him call the same number we could just call from home. After a few minutes of waiting, we asked if we could just do this from home (yes, we can) and left. The one guy even said, "yeah if you're making account changes you NEVER want to be liable for that, just give the customer the phone once customer service picks up". Seriously? Your job is to sit on hold and stare at me? If you want to get manipulated into buying extra stuff for your phone that you could get for one third their price on Amazon, this is your place. Each time we have come in here there is always some old person being baffled into buying a bunch of crap they don't really need. As far as I can tell, this store is pointless. The guys at this location are extremely helpful and patient. I am very pleased with the service they provided. I went to the west sac location and was extremely disappointed with everything there and coming here they reminded me why I am a Verizon customer. I am very appreciative and thankful that they were willing to help me transfer everything from my old phone to my new phone, get all my contacts, change my phone number, and lead me in the right direction to cancel my other phone line. Super pain in the ass. Skip these middle men and go straight to corporate store. I bought a couple self charging units here after being promised that they kept their charge well. I charged in wall first as directed and they still only worked for 2 min each! So disappointing. I went back to return and they don't take returns! I guess I should have asked first huh? Im out $45 for crap. I asked to talk to a manager but they said he had stepped out and would call me back. Never did. Every time I walked in, there were new employees and the old ones were gone. Watch our for Pierre, lied twice to me. First he said no Verizons carry the iPhone 4 anymore and that only the iPhone 4s was available. I called Verizon on Howe and they had several ready to go. Second, he tried to get me to upgrade my data plan "you're at about 1.5gb+ each month." BS, I know how much I use, checked, and I'm sitting on about 700mb data use a month. Went to Verizon on Howe and had a great experience and new phone. read more

Pierre is a knowledgeable and friendly service rep, but pretty much everyone else -- including the district manager James Hillman -- is incompetent. They lost our contacts, took hours to return two phones, and had to call their own customer service to have their own policies explained to them. The district manager liked to throw his weight around but clearly didn't know as much as his employees. He pressured us to stay with Verizon despite his staff and himself proving how worthless Verizon's service is. The problem here is that this isn't actually a Verizon store: It's a "licensed retailer" called 4G Wireless. Their policies are completely different from Verizon's corporate policies, including charging $135 for a return instead of Verizon's $35 fee. But they won't tell you this; they say they're a Verizon store, even though they don't follow Verizon's rules. My recommendation? Go to the Verizon corporate store, go with another service provider, or at least bring your contracts in with you and get everything in writing. They're not trying to trick you -- they just don't know any better. read more

My sibling and I visited this location in 2/2014 to upgrade my Iphone 4s to the 5s and to add a line. The staff was very affable, knowledgeable, and provided great customer service. This was my first bad experience with anything Verizon. I went in with my wife and my mom (we are all on the same account). We wanted to look into the new plans that Verizon offers (mainly the Edge plan). The staff were not rude, but they were definitely not helpful in any way. They informed us that they did not carry the Edge plan we were looking to get, and that it would be another 10 days before they did. That's fine. However, they started to tell us that we wouldn't save money and that it wasn't a good plan for us. They hadn't even looked up our account. They also told us that we had to go to a Corporate store for help. However, they didn't even bother to tell us where one was. They could've called one or given us an address. This was the worst customer service I've ever dealt with at Verizon. Avoid this store! read more

He had given us more than expected with the best service plan that suits my budget and unlimited minutes needed for myself and my partner. My TMobile Android phone was replaced with an updated Android. Chris supplied me with the proper cover to protect it. I recommend going to Chris at Verizon. I am a very satisfied customer. read more

I came in anxious because my phone stopped working and I need a replacement ASAP - how many customers do you think come in here every day with exactly the same story? Gary answered all my questions and really went the extra mile helping me secure a replacement phone ASAP. After, He helped me go over my business' plans and made recommendations on how we might save money - that's service. While he was helping me, I couldn't help but observe as his female coworker skillfully handled a "customer" who would of given me a migraine. The person wasn't just a tech noob, he was borderline-nutty. She patiently listened to his theories about how the glow from phones adjusts sleep cycles and then later about how he didn't believe in recycling phones because that was how "they" got your private information. it would of been hard for me to not start cracking wise in her situation, but she remained professional while working with him. I recently switched from Sprint to Verizon and they made the entire process super easy. I selected a phone that I didn't like and when I returned it a week later they were super cool about it. Keren was knowledgeable about my Samsung Galaxy S5 and any time I had questions about my service or bill Chet was really helpful. Rounding up from 3 1/2 stars because I'm in a good mood. These guys were really great when I went in with my mother to help her upgrade and renew her contract (and get on as an extra family line, thanks mom! prepaid phones suck.) They helped her with all of her questions and took the time to really sit down and explain the different parts of her service. Having worked at a wireless store before, I know how tedious that can be, so the fact that the manager (Ty? Tre? Really nice guy.) took the time to do it said a lot. The sales pitches came on a bit strong at some points, but hey, it's their job. Setting up all the phones took forever, but it was 1) a lot of lines 2) slightly more complicated than a usual contract renewal 3) I think the guy who was doing the paperwork was new; he didn't seem sure of the system. Whatever, it happens, we got out the door with all of our phones. My mom went back in the next day to get the information ported off her old phone onto her new one and said they were just as nice then. I'm currently in the store. They are short staffed, both the gentleman are new to the point this is there first time opening a store. The computers keep erring when completing transactions and after sitting here for an hour I just paid cash for a stranger to get out the door. Judging by phone calls and texts there is a manager named Chet who knows they are in dire straits but he won't come in. They keep having to turn people away and tell people to call back. I finally convinced my husband to come to Verizon and it has taken 3 days to activate a phone. Three days of painful phone calls, epic holds and incorrect information. Two hours. To start, lets just say that I hate cell phone stores, especially Verizon. I've had nothing but bad experiences for years, mostly with the one in Roseville where the creep manager wouldn't take my girlfriends no for an answer about a case. That being said... This store turned it ALL around. My girlfriend and I were blown away at not just the level of service we received, but the warmth and friendliness of the staff. All three people on shift when we first came in were super friendly, and not at all pushy when we went home to think about upgrading for a couple of hours, and when we came back Chet was so helpful, funny, and friendly to work with, he made a process I normally despise actually quite fun. I didn't catch the name of the short haired girl who was also working, but she was also pretty great. My girlfriend was very impressed with her openness and honesty about particular phones features and quality. Honesty isn't something you tend to get from salespeople, especially in cell phone stores, so it's to be commended. Chet made everything so painless, affordable, and convenient that we left in a really great mood after a really crappy day. I'm even writing a YELP review which I normally hate to do. I cannot recommend this store more, especially when those two are working. Very happy with my new phone, very happy with my service, and very happy with Verizon Wireless on 19th. 10/10 will be back (hopefully not too soon though.) read more

Dalia not only fixed my phone issues that took "time" to reload apps, factory reset and researching the issues.As she held down the store by her self she was fantastic at multi tasking to assist several other customers and sent them on thier way with smiles on thier faces , just as she did me. I'm surprised Verizon allows their name to be disgraced with the 4G Wireless Retailer association. The sales clerks (is that what ya call em?) are very courteous and do the best with the poor management that was obvious on the day I went in to return a device. James Hillman (I took your business card so I couldn't forget him) who is the district manager of this location was there the day of my last visit. I was told if I returned within the first 30 days and returned my device I wouldn't be stuck with an early termination fee. I had the MiFi service and it was getting hacked by a neighbor, since it wasn't secure I had the service cut within 15 days of the signing then I tried to return the device within the 30 days. I was told to bring it to the store no later than Sept 3rd. I followed this direction and was told that I was a day late and they would not accept the device. They also CHARGE A SEPARATE EARLY TERMINATION FEE that isn't waved if you return the device within the first 30 days. When I signed the contract, I didn't see this even though I read it, unfortunately I can't go back and verify because I don't have it any more. If it was there, bad on me for not seeing it. Either way, while I was trying to return the device, Mr. Hillman cowered in the back room and let an associate deal with me. I thought this was incredibly unprofessional since this is why we have Managers. There were no other managers in the store, 4G Wireless pays him to be a manager, not to be a cowered and play tidily winks in the back room. So I have been working with 4G Wireless to drop the separate $200 fee since I was following Verizon's directions and was able to get them to knock it down to $75. I reluctantly paid it. At this point, it isn't the fee I'm angry about but the fact that the employees who answer the phone have hung up on me on a few different occasions when I have asked to speak with a manager. The last person I talked to was courteous though and did the best he could by lowering the fee. I will never again buy from this company and would advise anyone who does to proceed with caution since they don't seem trustworthy. read more

Useless! I bought a "brand new" phone and within a month it started acting funky. I transfered all apps, music, photos and docs from my previous phone. I somehow got a virus on my phone. The first time I went for help, the idiot told me that I needed to delete all my apps, I'm like wtf? Why? When that didn't work, I was told by another idiot that I needed to block all notifications. When that didn't work, the managing idiot told me that I should go to Best buy. I'm like I didn't buy the phone from best buy, but when I'm ready to buy another, I'll definitely go there instead because you're an ass! read more

I've gone into this location several times. The first time back in January 2011 because my phone was acting up. They tried all the things I'd tried and ended up calling the Customer Care line for me, taking care of having a replacement phone sent to me. Thanks, I could've done all that for myself! I've gone in recently to check out the new Droid phones, in particular the 4G models. Each time I've gone into the store, I'm talked out of the phones I'm interested in giving a chance. The new head salesperson who is there each and every time, seems to be on a mission to 'sell down to me', offering inferior phones. I'm not sure if he thinks I'm naive, uninformed or not aware of technology;or he's trying to make an easy buck selling me something easy? After using the Droid x2 for about a week and realizing the size is just way too big for my hand, I go in wanting to touch and sample all the other droid phones for a better fit. When I mention the size being a problem, I'm shown the Samsung Gem as an alternative. Really? I've stayed away since that day. I'm not sure what the point or purpose of this location is...But I'd rather someone try to be slick and over sell me on the phones than sell down to me like I don't have a clue or they're trying to make a quick buck. Overall, the people that work there seem courteous and like they're trying, but it's not a store where I feel like I'm really being taken care of or where I learn anything about the new phones that is of any value. Looks like I didn't turn in my phone in time for the "trade in special" and my bill is permanently 15$ higher per month. I was paying $100 with AT&T and switched over to Verizon for a cheaper bill and better customer service. I'm glad Verizon mailed me the package slips or reminded me to turn in my phone. Guess I'm switching back to AT&T. I am now paying more for Verizon. Awesome. read more

Walked into my local Verizon after misplacing my phone yesterday and had a great experience. I was in full on no-phone-panic mode and literally about to purchase a new iPhone 6 Plus out of contract, when the sales rep told me to slow down and made sure I checked the find my iPhone app. Went home, checked the app and saw that the phone was with a friend...Then got confirmation that someone did have my phone. The sales reps here are good ppl - they easily coulda gone straight for the sale but took the time to sort it out with me. Saved me the headache of having to return a new phone or even worse I coulda bought a phone and erased my old one.
