Depending on the day, your experience here can vary wildly. One sales associate printed out quotes and assured us they wouldn't expire for over a week. When we returned (2 days later), that employee was on vacation, and a new salesperson initially refused to honor the same deal. After some back-and-forth, they eventually matched it, only to then try to upsell us by adding another line. We were initially told there would be a minimal increase and when the quote came out it was triple the cost! In the end, we were told the original offer was no longer available and that we'd have to pay full price, with a pitch about why it was still a "good deal." After the manager came out to say the manager on the other deal was wrong as was the associate but that we should be thankful they caught it now...we had enough. Overall, the process felt disorganized and unprofessional, with employees seemingly not aligned and customers caught in the middle. We ended up wasting hours here. So I just received my bill and was in fact charged for the "free new line." My brother previously worked for a Verizon Authorized Retailer store and said this is called "getting slammed" - a term in the cellular phone business that refers to a representative saying one thing so they can make the sale and the store can meet their monthly goals. Then when the customer is in fact charged for whatever they were told is free, and they contact Verizon Customer Service to cancel the extra line, the rep and store still get credit for the extra line sale. I guess that is what happened to me, I'm extremely disappointed to say the least. Buyer beware. read more

David was absolutely fantastic! I had the most frustrating and unique situation dealing with my Verizon account and David went above and beyond to help rectify the situation. He spent probably over two hours calling multiple Verizon departments to help me. He was incredibly patient and understanding especially dealing with such a frustrating situation. I reported on the phone to fraud 7 seperate times and 9 times in store two of which were at this awful location filled with incompetent liabilities. now that lines of credit have been opened in our names our SSN have all been stolen, Sim swaps, ESIM deletion, and navigation spoofing which was so extreme we have an elder abuse case and an FBI case. Still the geniuses at the "corporate location" say they are just lowly salesmen and have no control over anything just like the foreign call centers for their fraud department. After spending 6+ hours on the phone with Verizon service over two days, I was told that I needed to go into the actual store to activate my son's Apple Watch. I'm not sure what happened, but it became a very complicated situation to activate his watch. I am so incredibly grateful that I got Tage as my sales associate when I went into the store. He was calm, patient and more than anything, he was smart & knowledgeable. After an hour and a half of several attempts, we kept coming back to the same place with no success. Most associates would've given up by now, but he was willing to try a little bit harder because he saw how much I needed to get this done and I was also calm and patient. He thought outside the box and his hard work paid off. His final I'll try was a total success and I couldn't be more happy. He's a rockstar and this location is so lucky to have him. DISHONEST LIARS! Sales rep Stephon and manager Gabe repeatedly lie until you give up. I upgraded a phone on an existing line in the store. They encouraged me to add a new line I didn't need to get a discount on the phone. They promised that the new line would be free for three years because they will apply a promotional discount. When I checked the bill a month later, there was no discount. I went back to the store, and they said the discount would appear on the next bill. I waited another month; still no discount. I went to the store again and they told me to wait until the next bill while they submit a promotion correction application. I waited another month and still no discount. They wouldn't confirm that they submitted the promotion correction application. Then, they claimed such a promotion never existed, essentially calling me a liar. They promised again to submit the promotion correction application, then they stopped communicating entirely. They upsell for their commission and then lie and delay. These people are crooks. It's a very special trip and I must've asked 100 questions irritating questions they get daily yet who served me was confident, , delicate and compassionate. The first person I met was astonishing. The man looks like a Greek God, yet displays the communication skills of a seasoned orator with the tone that a loving father would have when his kid begins asking idiot questions like me right now. I took a glance and noticed that he is also athletic, but I wouldn't describe him as a movie star look, I would say more of a rockstar look. God help us. When you walk into this Verizon store, I feel I have lost years off of my life dealing with the incompetence of their workers. Even when you make an appointment, you are waiting at least 10-15 mins before someone helps you. They also don't allow you to come sooner than 15 mins of your scheduled time because "our workers are busy helping other customers". Yet, when I walked in earlier, there were at least 2 reps just standing around not helping anyone. In fact, they were chatting about their weekend. So, why couldn't I be seen earlier? Clearly they are inefficient and do not care about customer service. Everything move so slow here, even when you know exactly which phone you want. The rep, Michael, who helped me was frustratingly slow and rude. He kept going to the back room "to check on something" and would be gone for 10-15 mins at a time. WTF? When he went to go get the phone I requested, again, he was gone for 10-15 mins. When he went to go print the bill, it was another 10 mins. There's no way it should take him that long to locate a product or print something off of the computer. Even though I told him right from the start what I wanted, I ended up staying at the store for over an hour. Then when you ask him questions, he deflects, doesn't answer, or just stares at you in a creepy way. Also beware, they add a "protection plan" without telling you and only when you point out you don't want that, they say it's optional and you can remove it anytime. They also don't help assist with starting your new phone or transferring your data. You have to do it all by yourself and call the ridiculous Verizon customer service line if you run into any problems. And when I asked about the kit to return my current phone for the trade in, they ran out of boxes and the rep Michael had the audacity to tell me to go buy one when they are supposed to supply the box and the return label. When I asked if I could come back another day for the box, he said "No." This is a warning for all Verizon customers. Enter this store at your own risk. read more

This a GREAT Verizon store. I lost my phone, the phone was off and I had problems with the Asurian claim. Verizon customer service suggested I go to the store. Pedro and John were SUPERB. They both went more than an extra mile to help me get the problem resolved and the claim filed. NO I didn't find anyone "cold" towards customers. Just people who were trying to help me. I have to drive from Santee all the way to Carmel Monte Road to pick up my phones the manager is white lady about 6 feet tall heavyweight. She is so rude she wouldn't help me to get my phones and she said come back tomorrow. Also, I explained to her very clearly that I drove all the way from Santee to get here to pick up the phone. She insist come back tomorrow we closing soon. I told her I'm gonna call 611 and make a complaint she told me "I don't care. There are not my bosses. They cannot tell me what to do. You just wasting time by staying here talking to me. I told you to come back tomorrow. Not recommend this location for anybody and you can tell from their reviews. They are sucks. read more

From an iPhone 6S to an iPhone 11 Pro yeah baby !!! Major upgrade right hurrr. This review is long overdue! Verizon offered an amazing deal for the iPhone 11 so I had to take advantage of it ! This was definitely the time to do it. Needed to keep up with the times. Located in the Carmel Mountain plaza near other restaurants and department stores. They have plenty of parking available. This location was quite busy post-holiday, which was understandable. I recommend scheduling an appointment ahead of time, but we decided to walk-in and was informed it would be a 30-45 minute wait. No rush so we decided to hangout and browse the store. The Verizon Specialist was able to get to us within the promised time and we were able to purchase our iPhones through online order/delivery since they literally sold out in store ! Cray ! Fortunately, we were able to sign-off on our iPhones to ensure secure delivery. I forgot the name of the employee, but he was very proactive, professional, and friendly. He answered all our questions and concerns and made the process effortless and stress-free. No shady business here. We received our new iPhones within a week and she's a beauty ! Had to come back to transfer apps from my Android to the new iPhone 16 pro because of issues with apple iCloud came back hoping John was in to complete the transfer wasn't in of course and had 3 employees in front doing nothing so I explained my situation and was told they had to charge me to do the transfer I explained to them that I purchased the phone at this store and John was gonna do it for me when I bought the phone but had issues and had to come back! Worse. Experience! Don't go here. The customer rep lied to us through his teeth. He had to offer the phones online because they were on back order, fine. He ordered the phone that was in stock online as well so we did not get charged right away, lie number 1. The first phone shipped immediately and they activated it and started charging us. The the other four phones were supposedly flagged for fraud and not sent. So I called customer care. I spent FOUR HOURS on customer care call only to be hung up on, lied to (wouldn't send us to their supervisor) and told we could only handle this is the store where we bought it. Annoying. Fraud tells us there is no hold so we were left with absolutely no answers. Make an appointment, go to the store and low and behold we are told they cannot help us because we made the order "online". We explain that the sales guy ordered online because it was on back order, but again we were told we would have to call customer care. They did not care at all that we had already spent four hours on the phone only to be told they couldn't help us. We ordered 10/25, it was October 7th when we went in. We were also give a $200 bill on the iPhone 14 that arrived and was still in its packaging, so we decided since the customer care in store and online was horrendous as new clients, we might as well cancel as they clearly did not care. Cancelling the phone was an ordeal that took another hour or so, even with an appointment. The store has the nerve to tell us the $200 bill for an untouched phone that we did not think was active was still due. We told them no. They finally took that charge off. And so we thought we were done. Nope! A week later we get a bill for $1,005. For what you ask? No clue. It was just a bill for that amount with no line item. So I call customer service once again. Spend another hour on the phone only to be told they "handled" it. NOPE! Today, 11/11, I get a call that we need to pay $1,005 still for cancelling our service that we returned within the grace period, unopened, unused!!! I have been on the phone for over 30 minutes as I type this. Still no resulution because Verizon clearly cares about nothing other than taking your money! They woke me up calling me on my phone with an automated call to pay. I had to find a customer service number, first person hung up on me, apparently normal practice. Second guy is trying to help but clearly had no idea what is going on! This store is horrible. I would not use! read more

So we got his temporary the following day and came back. We were met with another employee, I didn't catch his name. Tall, slim, combover. Not pleasant at all. Condescending tone the entire time. Worst store ever. Came here twice to upgrade my wife's phone. Both times we came over 1:39 minutes before they close and they told us they are too busy to help us. Mind you there's 3 customers in the whole store with 2-3 workers... we have a newborn and took us a lot to make time to come here.
