This location is actually terrible. I've been a happy Verizon customer for 20 years. I came into the AT&T Carmel mountain location simply cause they had some cool deals going on, so I figured why not try something different? I had three goals this day: Switch to AT&T, transfer my data to a new AT&T phone and purchase an Apple Watch. They spent a lot of time going over the deals with me and setting me up and I left with my new phone, plan and watch happy. But during the two weeks that I had AT&T, I had the WORST DROPPED CALLS OF MY LIFE. I've never experienced anything like it. It happened every day, multiple times a day no matter where I was. So, naturally I wanted to switch right back to Verizon. I returned to AT&T to get my data switched back to my old phone and return the new iPhone and Apple Watch. A man named IVAN PEREZ was the one that assisted me. Long story short, I asked him to transfer my contacts, photos etc back to my old phone and return the products. IVAN was very rude once he realized I was there to switch back to Verizon. He kept trying to rush through the process stating "today is the last day you're able to return so let's hurry up". He handed me my phone to log into my iCloud so we could transfer my all my stuff over. But then he proceeded to DELETE MY ENTIRE PHONE. All my photos, videos, texts and calls were GONE. It's been a few weeks and I still can't believe my memories were snatched from me like that by a careless and clearly high associate (Ivan Perez) who couldn't do anything but say "well there's nothing I can do, it's already been deleted". Not only that, he wouldn't allow me to return my Apple Watch because I didn't have the box anymore. He gave me the number to customer service and said there's probably nothing they can do about it. Once I called their customer service that evening, the associate told me that Ivan lied. "I'm not sure why he would tell you that ma'am. You're definitely allowed to return the watch without the box, that's the whole purpose of the restock fee that you pay" - the customer service over the phone was helpful and emailed me a UPS slip and let me know I could return the watch with any box and drop it at UPS. So thank god for that associate. Long story short - Ivan Perez, you're clearly high on the job and don't care about your customers. And if I wasn't a changed woman, I would have really did you much worse with this review. Please get help. AT&T, your service is actually garbage and your associate Ivan Perez is a perfect fit. Really disappointed in the service here. We came over almost one month ago to upgrade our phones. We did that but they have all sorts of fees plus you must pay taxes so we ended up paying almost $300 in fees and taxes just for the phones. iPhone 15 does not come with wall plug in charger anymore so they told us if we bought 4 items total (very overpriced) we would get the wall chargers for free. Another $200. We were told of a promotion of BOGO Apple Watches so we decided to go with it but honestly it was all too good to be true. We paid taxes again but Ivan, the representative who helped us, told us we would get free activation fees for the watches and to just call him whenever our bill became available. We left the store paying about $700 in fees and taxes. Our bill arrives so we call the store to let them know about the credit situation and they "work" on it for about two weeks until I request to speak to a supervisor about it and said supervisor continued to say "we will work on it", "I will escalate this", and all sorts of lies without progress. Finally, they sent me the message attached here but no reply. I ended up paying an extra $380 for the first month bill and who knows what else we'll pay next month. They also told us to call customer service to have the phone fees waived which we did and they waived but again, what was promised in store did not deliver. Never again. We could've bought all of this on our own in full if we would've know the *actual* price and the lies we were going to endure. Please do better. read more

But, when I asked if he could break down pricing for me he audibly sighed and rewrote EXACTLY what he had just written down like I didn't see him write it the first time. I've had my business phone line with AT&T for many years and I hate to have to take the time to get my bill broken down for me and to be treated like I'm an idiot, as if $360/mo is completely normal. I was quoted $119 at Verizon and todays service didn't help me want to stay at all... April 2021 Customer service was excellent here. Had gone here countless times with the assistance from Luke. His energy as well as the other workers were friendly and helpful. I always recommend this AT&T and had been a customer for over 15 years. On 11/14 Nick was assisting my family. Customer service was poor, no smile or glimpse of friendliness. Did not seem like he even wanted to help assist us. I get some people can have off days, but leaving the store my mood immediately felt drained from his vibe. Very bad customer service. Luis messed up my business account via added another line. He ordered the pro 14 Max, but never delivered to store. Luis told me the package returned to sender somehow. Unfairly I had to pay extra 450 for 2 months without new phone. They couldn't fix it almost 2 months so I had to call ATT directly, guess what, I fixed it right away. What a joke. The Store Manager Hamid promised that he can control all issues but he did not. Actually he ignored my contact and text. He is not a professional and he has no responsible. TWO STARS ONLY FOR THE TWO REPS THAT TROED HELPING ME WITH THE PROBLEM RICARDO AND BRANDON I would like to thank Brandon for going above and beyond making sure all my questions were answered regarding my account. He was patient attentive and addressed all my needs. Not one time did he get upset with all the questions I asked regarding switching my account over. Explaining the differences between the types of plans and pricing everything out so everything for into budget. Thank you for also going above and beyond when we encountered the issue of receiving an open iPhone twice to my home he was willing to help fix the problem and get what I needed I understand how frustrating it was as two months later I'm still dealing with the issue. Ricardo, thank you for trying to figure out alternatives and trying to make sure I wasn't being over charged or trying to figure out a plan B so billing didn't keep taking my money when needed. I first came in for an upgrade as mentioned above Brandon gave spectacular customer service. I haven't received great service like that in years. I had to order my phone through the mail as the store didn't carry the model I wanted. Few days later I received the package opened. I made many calls to customer service they directed me back to the store. I return to the store and attempt to return the phone but the first issue was receiving the refund. When I returned there wasn't a manager on duty to help with the return and over ride restocking fees so I was advised to come back when the manager was in office. I return a few days later and management was able to process the return and supposedly override restocking fees. I was told the refund would be returned in about 3-5 days, I even asked if the device needed to be in possession of ATT. I was told no and went on with ordering a new device. Fast forward again 2-3 days no refund but new device is received. This time with the prior experience I open the boxing while recording and to my amazing yet again ANOTHER open iPhone box. I immediately call customer service again to report the open box and AGAIN asked if this was something they do to quality control equipment the answer from customer service again and the store was no. When I called the store again no manager was on duty so I had to wait until The morning to speak with someone. Next morning I speak with manager nick. I explain the situation that happened twice in a week. He said he would look into it since he had already over ridden the first transaction. He started accusations stating "I've worked with att for many years and never heard of this happening, maybe once but for it to be two shipments in a row" he said he would reach out to his area supervisor and call back on advice on what the next steps were. Waited a few days never received a call back from nick so I call the store again and ask for an update. Worker said they'll speak with nick and have him return my call. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK ITS BEEN A MONTH SINCE THE SECOND TRANSACTION. Tired of waiting on call backs I also tried speaking with customer service to get the issue resolved. The charges for the first restocking fees were never waived. We got billed no matter how many times I called (I called every 2-3 days for follow ups) and asked them to notate and waive restocking fees for the first device. It took almost two weeks for a rep to completely process a refund for the FIRST device! I had explained the same exact thing happened with the second device and need to repeat the process of the first. Spoke to multiple reps kept being told it was being processed. One rep couldn't provide a receipt but a verbal "promise" that the second refund was in the works. Three weeks pass no refund to no surprise after millions of calls. I call one last time and demanded a proof of refund and finally got one and again was told 7-10 days. Waited 10 days NOTHING. Tried to dispute with my bank and now I have to waste my time disputing and explaining the whole situation AGAIN two months later to get my money back for a phone I returned on March 8th and was received 3/14 by ATT. Called ATT store again today to file a complaint to no surprise no manger on duty but was told a supervisor was to call back within 15 minutes, it's been 10 minutes passed that call back time and now the store is closed so now i get to wait again for any type of follow up. Management completely dropped the ball on this. I've taken time off of work to come back into the store because they lack staffing appropriate competent management. I've wasted my time calling customer service to keep getting the run around with incompetent customer service reps. Horrible experience with ATT. It's now mid April and I'm still stressing out and dealing with this issue. The only positive experience was with Ricardo and Brandon. Thanks for your help guys. read more

Rarely are people in customer service as blatantly disrespectful as the store manager, Collin Schultz. Our admin went in to simply get a SIM for one of our company newly purchased iphones. We have done this many times in the past at other stores easily but Collin at Carmel Mountain put up barriers all along the way but the worst part was the bad attitude and the mean way he talked down to her (and subsequently to me on the phone). The selection is moderate. The value is similar to other ATT stores. We are just extremely disappointed in ATT for the lack of oversight and training for their store managers. read more

Date of visit: January 7, 2019 It was time to upgrade my cell phone, and I had my heart set on an iPhone 8 Plus. The particular model I was looking for was unavailable at my local AT&T Store, so after the sales clerk searched online and saw they had 4 left - and after they'd tried contacting this particular location and got no response - sent me there to try my luck. After I arrived, the staff made an appointment for me to be helped... and while there's a digital board with your name and the position in queue that you're in, there's no estimate as to how long you'll be waiting. Ultimately it took about ten minutes for the saleslady to get to me; not that bad, even though I'd been sitting at one of the tables with uncomfortable seats (the two couches had been poached by other customers). My associate - Jennifer, I believe - was very surprised that I had been sent to upgrade to the (Product) RED iPhone 8 Plus without the store I'd been to confirming with them that they had it in stock. I did tell her that they did call twice, but they got no answer... maybe having more staff available during peak shopping hours might help avoid situations like this (especially after she'd made the hard sell on payment plans before checking to see if it was in stock - fortunately it was). Another problem is that she forgot to ask if I wanted to trade my phone in - which I did, but she'd already rung me up. So, the trade-in price for my old iPhone 7 ultimately went towards paying my phone bill for the month and partially for next month's... so yay me? So, why the three stars on this review? Well, after everything was said and done, I DID score the (Product) RED iPhone 8 Plus (which turned out to be a limited edition model that had been discontinued earlier in the week), and I was told about a cheaper unlimited data plan that might be available to me. But seeing how I wasn't too thrilled by my experience here (not to mention the drive and trying to find a parking spot close by), I'll be going to the AT&T Store close to my place to look into that phone plan. read more

On January 11, 2025 I went to the AT&T on Carmel Mountain Road. The young lady that was helping me was okay. I explained to the manager that I felt like I received a bait and switch. I was told when I purchased my cell phone protector that I had unlimited protection and it was a lifetime free replacements, but I found out today that I would be charged $10 to replace the screen cover. This is not what I was told when I purchased the cell phone and the initial screen protector. I was upset that I had to pay $10.00 out of pocket right after the holidays. They didn't even offer to put it on for me. I went home and my husband put on the screen protector. I just felt that they weren't very helpful after I explained that the original salesperson didn't mention the $10.00 replacement fee for additional screen savers. They weren't very friendly either. I am sorry that we left T Mobile to go with AT& T. The salespeople were not that friendly or helpful. After I pleaded my case, they didn't care. Unhappy customer! Went in with my husband because Apple had disconnected and locked our account and it was pretty upsetting but I'd say I felt the whole time like the guy whose name was Ronald E was annoyed to help us. We were there for an hour and the whole time if I opened my mouth he immediately corrected or told me whatever I was saying wrong. I kid you not I couldn't have a thought with out him saying "well actually" and I was getting more frustrated and desperate to get out of there so after getting my husbands phone fixed I told the gentleman I don't want to upgrade my phone. Completely done with the experience and I didn't want a phone to remind me of this. I left and after I told him no and had left my husband there to just swipe his card. He asked my husband 3 times and told him he had the screen up and he'd just do it quickly and he'd be out of there so he did it. My husband has Asperger syndrome, he got confused and listened to the man who told him he was just trying to do a nice thing for me and did it. The reason I left it because the guy told me I was stressing him out because I got upset we needed a 10th code sent to my husbands dad whose out of state and can't respond all the time so I left my husband at the very end knowing I had told both I don't want a phone and knowing he only had to swipe his card and he could handle that. I had 5 men on top of me when I went back telling me my husband is to blame when the reality is they pressured someone of disabilities and that just breaks my heart. If you are disabled or a women stay out of this location. They will take advantage if of you and laugh at you. I went back with my son and they just ganged up on me when I tried to stop the process. Was the worst experience with a mobile operator! While signing my contract, they guaranteed a monthly payment plan of $50/month (given that we enroll in their automatic payment plan). Once we were charged, it came out to $94. We had the original coupon for $50, so once we returned, we showed it to the staff. The staff acted like they never said that and they never heard of this $50 deal. They told us to visit a different store. Once we did that, the staff said the same thing. All they cared about was that we signed up. Once we did, they acted like we didn't matter anymore. We immediately canceled our subscription, and received our payment back in 2+ weeks... Please. My husband and I are loyal customers to AT&T and this store in particular. AT&T has been there for us and we don't hesitate to stop in with a question or a "quick fix". We recently purchased two i13 Pros. While we may have gotten the phones at a cheaper price from one of their competitors, we stuck with AT&T because there was no "bait and switch" and we knew they would be with us for the duration. We had a recent mixup with the shipment of some accessories and the manager dealt with us patiently and ultimately worked with us until we were satisfied. They have also checked our bill and found a way to reduce our costs. Whether it's a major issue or a minor one (such as installing a protective shield),they are there for us, providing cheerful service.
