On the suggestion of a family member, we switched from ATT to Verizon (Vacaville store). Kayla was very helpful in setting things up, and we were both very happy with our new phones ... but the happiness ended there. I experienced problems logging into our account, getting an error message that the website did not recognize me. I spent over 1 hour with support, difficult to understand due to the heavy foreign accent. Eventually, we were able to access our account. When I attempted to log in later in the day, I encountered the same problem of their website not recognizing me, despite using the phone number. Out of absolute frustration, I drove to the Vacaville Verizon store on East Monte Vista. I checked in, and waited. A young man carrying a electronic clipboard came to me asking my name, and what the issue was. I explained the log-in issue, and my experience with Verizon support. He told me that there was NO ONE at their office who could help me. When I explained my frustration, and the fact I had been with Verizon support already, and that I was ready (after only one day of service) to go back to ATT, he merely just walked away. Frustrated by the obvious lack of caring, I left the store. We will visit ATT this week and undo our mistake of putting our trust into Verizon. read more

Really bad customer service. Only want to help you if you tell them you are purchasing. My suggestion if you go here, is to tell them that, and then have the person they assign to you to fix your issue. My issue was just one of storage space and making sure all was going to the cloud so I can delete. We brought the phone back in to have it exchanged and they wouldn't give us replacement accessories as we purchased them somewhere else l! I ordered a iPad from Verizon 08/21/23, I returned it by mail 08/29/2023, Verizon received it by 09/11/2023. I returned it under the 30 day window. I called Verizon 3 times spoke to a live agent and chatted with a live agent through Verizon app 2 times. They are charging me for the entire iPad which is $1138.00 and over $250 in other fees. They tried charging my debit card 10/26/2023 for the $1138.00 at midnight but my bank stopped the charge. Verizon said repeatedly that I shouldn't worry about any charges or future notices and to ignore them. That I wouldn't be charged but I got a letter in mail today from a collection agency for the iPad and it was dated 10/31/2023. I'm so incredibly exhausted, frustrated and upset about this situation. This will go on my credit when I return the iPad to Verizon under the 30 day window. I'm still dealing with this problem and making it aware to others. If this gets resolved, I will revise this posting. But I'm feel Verizon is in the wrong and hope they can fix it. I really love the heart of this store. This Verizon location may be busy often, but the employees really lay it on thick with genuine kindness and sincere customer service. None of the store employees have ever rushed me into making a decision or hurried me out of the store, and are so incredibly patient (from what I've witnessed) both with me and also with other customers I've seen them interact with. I've been here a number of times, but today I felt especially compelled to write a review because of the interaction that happened between my 5 year old son and one of the Verizon store employees. Expecting to be there for a while (I wasn't wrong), I allowed my kid to bring his Hot Wheels cars with him to keep himself occupied. After the rush had died down, one particular guy (who has helped me before, and really knows his stuff!) asked my son if he could play with him. My son gladly welcomed him and, much to my surprise, he did not hesitate to play along side my little one, even if only for a moment. Still, seeing this seemingly little act of kindness really made a big deal to my son, and bought me extra time, too. Walked in & two employees were at the door with no customers, neither of them greeted me. Then went over to the phone cases, two more employees walked past me - neither of them greeted me. Then another employee who looked like she was training someone walked past me but last minute decided to say hi & see if I needed help. I told her there was a sale online for phone cases for $14.99. She looked at me like I was nuts & said incredulously, "for Verizon?!" I said yes. She looked as if she wanted to tell me I was mistaken until I showed her my phone with the deals. She then proceeded to tell me that it was online, I asked if they would price match in store since it's still from Verizon. She said no they don't do that. She didn't bother checking in with anyone else & flat out told me no. I haven't seen one retailer in 2021 that doesn't price match at minimum to themselves. I said okay as i could see she wasn't interested in asking for a second opinion or price matching. Maybe that's why this store got such trash reviews & there were only 2 guests here. By the time I left there were 5 employees congregating at the front of the store & I highly doubt any of them made any significant sales that day based on their lack of customer service & knowledge. Just switched from ATT to Verizon because they had a good promotion but completely regret it. I mistyped my acct number for autopay and was penalized by having to pay cash for the next six months in person at the store! I always pay the full amount and never pay late but no customer service agent is allowed to help because it's a computer app rule! Ridiculous. I do understand that Covid labor shortages are real and that most of everything from Verizon can be done online, but I made an appointment with the store manager and came during my appointment time. I wanted to get a new phone day-of instead of waiting on shipping and I wanted to know what the deals would be for my phone right away for trade ins. I was one of two customers in the store and there were three associates working. No one was talking to anyone, so I asked at the checkin station if someone was available. They said the associate would come to me once they were finished with everything. I half hour went by so I walked out and did everything online. Terrible service. The man (whom I forgot to get his name) instantly had attitude and didn't want to help at all. Only reason why we came here was because we were able to get an appointment earlier instead of waiting for Fairfield. We have confirmed multiple times with various employees that we can use our rebate to upgrade phones. However he kept giving us excuses as to why we weren't "able too" In the end we just called customer service and the man on the phone was nice and patient enough to order the phones for us with the rebate included. It turned out it was going to be 700.00. I returned my merchandise, cases, phones and everything, they told me they could NOT give me my money back instead they were going to send me a check! It was close to 800 dollars they owe me, i have NOT received my check in the mail! Then next day I returned everything they have a 3 day policy, someone kept one line and one of my phone ON! Now I am being charged with "late cancellation fee" of 207! EVEN though I returned everything the next day!
