This review is pertinent to the T Mobile store that took over the Sprint Store. Let me start with…read morethe positive. The two young men in the store were friendly. I think they genuinely weren't bad guys. This is where the positive ends. Their appearance and deportment was very sloppy. At one point, the one kid actually admitted that he has an AT&T cell phone plan! This was the most awkward consumer experience I have had in a long time. My son has always had Motorola phones and so naturally, he asked about them. When asked about their Motorola phones, neither clerk had a clue. I think earthworms could have told me more. They brought the phones out and started reading the backs of the boxes to each other....at the same time. They literally accomplished nothing. At first, I though the one young man was training the other, but it soon became evident, neither party had a clue! They had no idea how many gb of storage either phone had. They had no clue what kind of camera the phone had. They had no clue about any of the features. They could not tell me the difference between the two Motorola phones they had brought from the back. They didn't even know if either phone was part of the "free phone with new contract" special. I was trying to set my son up on a new cell plan to replace my Verizon plan and they couldn't give my son any information on the two Motorola phones we were looking at. My son and I went online using my cell phone and we tried to figure out the differences between these two Motorola phones. WE literally started schooling the clerks on the differences between the two phones. Finally, we hesitantly picked a phone and set out trying to set up our account. Something got entered incorrectly and after fifteen minutes of "setting up our account", they clicked "send" and it screwed up the whole system. So, we started over with all the same information. I dragged my drivers license out of my wallet again. Back through it all we went. We got to the end, only to find out, the system wouldn't accept my info because it was already entered, albeit incorrectly. So, neither clerk knew what to do. The next step was to call a manager. Instead of using the business line, the clerk uses his cell phone. Manager couldn't help these two imbeciles behind the counter. So they call someone else, I still don't know to this moment who they called. Clerk hands me his cell phone and says, "They need your social security number". This person with a thick middle eastern accent gets on the phone. I can hardly understand him. No introduction. No explanation. Just "halo". What is your social security? I ask who I'm talking to. No answer. I ask a second time. Can't understand half of what the guy says to me. Now I'm holding this clerk's greasy cell phone. Like I want his sweat stained cell phone and who knows what else smeared on it, next to my ear. I hung up on the middle eastern guy I couldn't understand and I left the store. The lack of product knowledge and lack of professionalism was palpable. I still don't have a plan or phone for my son. I'm going to try the Ephrata T Mobile store tomorrow. Hopefully they can help me. If they can't, I'm done with T Mobile! Their merger with Sprint may not have proved positive after all. This is literally an hour of my life I will never get back...ever!

This store is so sad, the reps are all young and have no idea how to help. No customer service…read moreskills what so ever. Management the manager is a joke his response is call customer service so the store messes up and they refuse to help. They tell you one thing in order to get you to upgrade or add lines but when you get your bill it's something different. They lie to you about pricing and once you sign up there is no way of changing it. I would not recommend anyone go to this store they lie in order to get commissions all they want is a sale and lie to get it. They are rude and have no customer service skills. Save yourself go to Ephrata or Lancaster worth the trip in order to get good service and truth no tricks

Never go to this store. All employees are rude, do not want to do their job and escalate situations…read moreby arguing with you for no reason. The store is also very dirty. My phone broke at the beginning of the week (woke up to a white screen with no physical damage and could not use the phone); My mother contacted T-mobile customer service over the phone and was told I would be able to get my replacement in the store. After going into the store, I was told by the manager this was not true and they would have to order the phone first. They asked multiple times if water could have gotten in it or if I dropped it which was untrue. I could not come back in until Thursday of that week to get my replacement phone, however I am a first responder and need a phone for work. T-mobile gave us the card of a cell phone repair store in Newark. They were extremely nice and helpful however they could not fix my phone. All of my day off Monday was wasted. I went in Thursday to pick up my cell phone and Alysa Anderson was extremely rude from the moment I walked in. She did not communicate what she was doing and eventually stated I could not pick up my phone without the manager present as he needed to use his fingerprint to override something. This was a waste of my day off and Alysa kept arguing that it was the manager's day off (which was more important than my time being wasted) and I had to come in when he was present tomorrow. I was on the phone with my mother (the holder of the account) and when placed on speaker phone to clarify, Alysa did not let my mom speak by continuously interrupting and was extremely abrasive. I went in Friday to pick up my phone and the although the manager was present, there was no reason for him to be there as he did not participate in the process just observed. Alysa wasted my time as she did not want to do her job and lied to get me out of the store. After my data was transferred, T-mobile gave me a replacement phone that has a broken charger port and can only be charged wirelessly. I will be contacting corporate as they have technically let me be without a phone for a week and a half. Their behavior towards customers is abhorrent and needs to be addressed. To save yourself time and a headache, go to another t-mobile store. This place sucks.

Add-ons like hotspot were turned on despite me explicitly declining them, and my account shows the "free" phone is not free and must be paid off. My first bill was higher than expected and I'm still working with support to fix charges that shouldn't be there. I recommend getting every detail in writing (plan, features, promotions, and device credits) before you sign--because what I was told in-store didn't match what I was billed.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I almost never leave…read morereviews but felt compelled to. I went to this store after Verizon made a mistake porting a phone to my new Verizon Account. All I needed was a SIM card and some assistance getting the phone to work on a workday. Manager and employees were dismissive, unhelpful and rude. They acted bothered with an attitude the MOMENT I walked in the store / I calmly explained that my phone was being ported to Verizon and something had happened and made my phone not work during a work day. They could not have cared any less about my predicament nor took any interest in solving it. The lady I spoke to at the store told me to "call Verizon" - which I did from the store. When Verizon tech support got on the phone - they asked me to hand the phone to the representative in the store so they could explain the error the store said it was seeing. The woman actually told me she couldnt talk to Verizon tech support and that she knew nothing about my account. THE STORE ACTUALLY TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT TALK TO THEIR OWN COMPANY TECH SUPPORT. I walked out while still talking to the Verizon tech support person on the phone - and drove to the the Verizon store in Exton at: 146 Eagleview Boulevard, Exton, PA, 19341 The manager John immediately interfaced with the Verizon tech support person (who stayed with me on the phone during the entire drive over) and immediately figured out how to solve the problem and my phone was back on. I recommend going to the Exton Verizon store and asking for John and avoiding the Downingtown store completely. I almost left Verizon and went back to T-Mobile over this. Tech support on the phone and John in the Exton store saved a customer with 5 lines. And he mae a sale for a new phone while at it.
