This location trains their sales reps to scam people. They are incentivized to sell accessories so they hard sell their customers. I was excplicity told they were "throwing in" accessories when I purchased a phone since I wasn't due for an upgrade. Come to find the cost of them was thrown into my monthly billing plan, completely unbeknown and undisclosed to me. I discovered it months later when I received an email saying my balance owed was almost paid up. Which I have never had a balance with Verizon. What the sales rep had done without my consent is lower my monthly charge to offset the monthly cost of these accessories of which I didn't even really need or care for, but totaled close to $300. I own a sales related business and this is certainly not how I would ever conduct business with my customers. When I called corporate, all they could tell me is this is a known problem with certain locations but didn't seem the slightest bothered or concerned. I went in today for help transferring data from my old phone to new. I was met by an obtuse bearded hipster (you can't miss him) that was more interested in belittling me than listening to my request for help. I ended the encounter before I beat him to a pulp. I was that insulted! I went home to do it myself it still won't work. THANKS FOR THE TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! On 9/16/15, I cancelled my plan with Verizon after 8 years of having their service, and switched to Metro PCS. I felt that I was paying too much, and wanted to save some money. But on 9/25/15, I switched back to Verizon. Verizon may be on the more expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Hands down the best service and reliability. Verizon on 4th Mill Plain in Vancouver? Verizon should shut you down. We spent over three hours waiting for support for a simple transfer of data to a new phone, and we eventually gave up. We made friends with all the other helpless victims to this poorly managed store. After waiting 30 minutes for our name to be called, a staff member informed us he knew nothing about our phone, had only been there a few months, was responsible for "watching the door", so he would need to "bounce" back and forth. He started a transfer of data without asking if we needed to back up (we did), then poked randomly making choices for the download without consulting us. He then said he'd be right back. 30 minutes later, we were waiting, and realized the download wouldn't continue without our backup. Someone else was recruited to help us figure out iCloud, who insisted it was HIPAA compliant. It's NOT. Two hours later, we were still awaiting the download to finish on their ridiculously slow wifi. We took turns going out to the car to nap.They kept telling us their wifi is slow, and we should just give up. When we realized the download was hopelessly borked, we did just that. We left with NO working phone. A couple across from us, who had only been waiting 90 minutes for service, asked us "why are you being so nice to them?". Really, it was that bad. We plan to go to an Apple store, have an appointment with a friendly, well trained, and competent tech support person who knows their product. Someone observed that sales customers were getting good service and not being left to form support groups in the waiting areas. I absolutely won't ever ever ever ever go back to this store. Ever. I cannot wear a mask. If I could I would. I went inside and the guy helping me said it's no problem. Everyone else in the store had a mask on. My guy was starting to assist me when out comes the manager, Christian, who certainly did not live up to his name. I heard him say, "she cannot be in the store without a mask!" My guy told him that I could not wear one. The manager said I still could not be in the store without one. He was headed towards the door as he said this. I pointed out to him that everyone else in the store had a mask on so I can't be putting anyone at risk, if masks keep us safe. He also stated that it was the law. I told him I could not wear a mask and in fact it was NOT a law. He said there are no exceptions. I said you realize that YOU are actually breaking the law for discriminating against me. He said again something about no exceptions. There was a black guy standing next to the manager and when I told the manager he was discriminating against me the black guy said, "I've been dealing with it all my life". Purchased a droid turbo 2 less then months ago and it has a major manufacturer flaw, my power button does not lock the screen nor can I power it down. If my phone dies there's no way to turn it back on... Losing service, not getting calls or messages when they come in. Voice activation doesn't work, sometimes missed calls & messages doesn't come in till the next day; even from the other phone on the account. I can call my phone in the same room and it doesn't ring. I Contacted Customer Service and they're telling me they're going to replace it with a refurbished phone.... P***ed!!! Now I have to pay for a used phone. It's like buying a brand new car and having the transmission go out and I'm telling you they're going to replace it with a used transmission!!! There's got to be lemon laws on phones!!!!! read more

I have used this store numerous times with very good service. However, the last time I attempted to purchase a new phone was a completely different experience. I was in the store two weeks prior to my negative experience with the staff (very polite and courteous) stating I could upgrade my phone at a nominal price. I thanked them and decided I would come back in approximately two weeks when the new Samsung S6 arrived. I will try to make this story as short as possible. I returned to purchase my new phone. The salesperson on my last (and final) visit to this store was rude and argumentative to say the least. He snickered at me when I stated that I could purchase a new Samsung S6 for what was approximately the cost of tax only. He also stated on multiple occasions that I misunderstood what the salespeople told me on the last visit and that I could only purchase the phone at the asking price. He interupted me multiple times while I was attempting to state what the staff told me on the earlier visiit. I decided that this was going to go nowhere so I left the store wondering how I could have so grievously misunderstood what the staff said on my earlier visit. Later that afternoon I was passing a Verizon kiosk at a nearby location and thought I would ask what they had for information on this. I found that I was correct regarding the phone and purchased a new phone through them. I will say the staff here were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and professional and would highly recommend using this location ( hint- you need a member card to get into the store where the kiosk is). Later in the day I was passing the store to use a service next door. I decided that the sales people in the store might be made aware that they were misinformed of the trade in policies. Let me stress that this was only to pass on information to them and was not meant to be a negative visit in any way. When I entered the store the same rep came up to me. I informed him that I was passing by and thought I would inform him of his error so future customers would not go through the same situation. The salesperson became very defensive at this point. He told me multiple times that I was mistaken and insinuated numerous times I was lying about what he said earlier. This individual actually pressed his face up close enough to mine while in this ""conversation" that it was uncomfortable. During all of this, multiple staff members were huddled together watching and not intervening in any way. I told the rep there obviously was a misunderstanding. The individual curtly said "obviously" and briskly turned and walked away from me. I then decided, again, that this was going nowhere and left the store asking myself if that had really happened. Some of the employees there are trying to do the right thing however the structure of the management is such that no decisions can be made by the employees. I went in to payoff my phones on 9/9/2019 and now almost a month later they took the money (1,593.62 total) but my account shows that I still have balances on my phone. After an extensive conversation with a Regina Allen who works for Verizon Wireless customer service, I was told to call the police as well as contact my bank and report the charge as a fraudulent charge. She said that she thought something illegal may be happening at that store and that she did not like the different answers that she was getting from the manager (Justin I believe was his name). I decided to be reasonable and go in store only and try to work this out. After all I didn't want my money back, I just wanted my account to reflect that my phones were paid off so that my monthly payment would be reduced. They were able to see that they charged me. They also asked for a screen shot from my bank account which I provided. They said that the mistake was when their employee tried to run all 3 phones under one pay off transaction when he should have ran 3 different transactions. They admitted that the mistake was theirs yet here we are ALMOST 1 MONTH LATER WITH NOTHING RESOLVED. I have contacted local media outlets. I figure the best way to pressure them is through their public image. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE LARGE PAYMENTS... I was in Vancouver for medical care - ten hours from home - seven weeks away from home - when my 2.5 year old Droid II passed on into the digital divide. Went to these folks for help. Was greeted promptly and served professionally. After a few minutes of working on the DII to try and make it work we decided to burry it and do an upgrade. Half an hour later I left with a new iPhone 4s all programmed up with my contacts, original phone number, and more at a super reasonable price. I would give this business 0 stars if that was an option. This is a corporate store. This store is not interested in assisting you if you are not there to buy anything. We went to this CORPORATE store to drop off my son's Naval deployment papers in order to suspend his phone number while he is over seas. We walked 5 steps into the store and the screener asked what we needed. We told him and he told us that they could not help us and they didn't accept the paperwork there. He then turned his back on us and walked away. According to Verizon, corporate store are the only stores that can handle the paperwork, yet this store refused to help us. The sales person Evan said he could set me up with 3 Verizon tablets and lower my cell bill. Took him up on his offer. Much to my surprise my next month's cell bill went from $150 to $375. Went back to the store, Evan was not there. Manger had no explanation for me and would not reimburse me for restocking fees for the tablets I really never need, or reimbuse me for the extra charges on my bill. The sales people say they ar not paid "commission" on sales but that is bull. They just use a different term as they aquire points, my wife used to work for Verizon so know. Will never buy anything from this location, only will use them for technical questions or problems. You get a better deal and selection on there web site. read more

Another great experience at this store. This time I was helped by Evan and I went because my son's phone battery went bad. His two year contract wasn't up yet and he had a LG G2 phone where the battery is not removable. Evan took a look at my loyalty and arranged for me to receive a brand new phone and send back the old one. No questions asked, and no insurance. He was so helpful and knew the phone well enough to know it was beyond repair. Backing this store 100%. read more

I spoke to a "Customer Service Rep" - Key word here, Customer Service, something that I did not receive. I'm from out of town working and my phone, which had been having glitches, completely died after charging it all night. Prior to going into Verizon I checked my phone every hour throughout the day to see if I was able to turn it on and had no luck. I was "greeted" by Devin with a completely flat affect and no smile. He was able to turn it on immediately and then the condescension began. I asked questions in which I received one word answers and the final insult - regarding my phone being completely uncharged after I had charged it all night, he said, "Maybe you didn't have your charger plugged in." I have a Master's Degree, pretty sure I would know if my charger wasn't plugged in. I would like to believe that I'm an outlier or that maybe his incredibly rude demeanor could be chalked up to having a bad day, but I notice I'm not the first person to complain about Devin according to these reviews. My experience was he had absolutely no time for me (and in that case his job as a Customer Service Rep). Not sure how he has the honor of being called a Customer Service Rep which can be a tough job - but I'm an incredibly easy going, friendly person, so it would be hard to imagine how it would go with a challenging customer. Went to the Verizon store at Vancouver plaza drive. We where greeted by Omar. Do not trust this man. He promised that ALL our stuff on our phones would transfer over to the new phones we where purchasing. He took our old phones gave them to another person working in the store. They promply deleted all pictures and work info from both my husbands and my phone's. 5 years of pictures and all my husbands work info LOST!!! This did not need to happen. He didn't even care. We are devastated. Omar also gave us a device called a Hum. Said it was free. Did not tell us that we would have a monthly fee on our bill.Omar never even installed it. We had know idea how it worked. karma will great you some day Omar. We can only hope that you do not treat any one else this way. WE WILL NEVER GET OUR PICTURES BACK. OR MY HUSBANDS WORK INFORMATION. It is amazing that the 192nd store gets a 1 star I would give a zero if possible. I was running out of options that thought I would try this store. After signing up on the 800 # I know why did I do that. I thought it would go smooth. I didn't get the follow up that I wanted from my 800 rep. With questions I tried the 192nd store supposedly corporate and was told go back to your phone rep nothing can be done. I asked for the manager to call me from 192nd and much like his employees he didn't. Feeling like I made the mistake of changing to Verizon I went the corporate store by the mall and lucked out meeting Ben. Just outstanding can't say enough. I am being kind with two stars only because i was in last week and Ben was sooooooo awesome! I had to come back to upgrade my phone the following week and I was really hoping to work with him again but due to the long wait I had to work with another rep. I have never been so annoyed. I have been a loyal customer for 16 years and most of my business has been conducted in this store! The guy I was working with was incredibly insensitive. I run an Alzheimer's building and need my phone 24/7 in case of emergencies. My nurses phones voice mail is locked out. Worthless phone for me at this point. He could care less about me or offering an immediate solution. I heard "no" so many times I just got irritated and left with my new phone but none of my other phones resolved. Yes. I said other phones! Not just these 2 I was trying to get resolved. I have multiple products and this guy was a horrible sales rep. He could've made a good sale off of me but I left upset. Manager didn't jump in either when he realized I was unhappy. Promote Ben to store manager and bring back the good customer service to this store please. I won't be in again for awhile. read more
