I was dreading having to switch providers from sprint to verizon and having to deal with pushy salespeople. We went in just to ask about different plans and what our best options were and lucked out in getting Elias to help us. He was clear and concise about the best plan for us without trying to push us into spending over our budget and made everything really easy. We left the store with our quote and settled our old phone contracts before returning the next week. We returned to this location specifically to have Elias help us and we're very grateful that he was so patient with us throughout the long process. The other day Javier helped my mother and I as we were exchanging out phone. I was already waiting a while, but I understand with the COVID-19 processes they need to limit the amount of people inside the store. Javier made sure that we had options before finalizing our order. He also was kind enough to print the receipt, as they now email the receipt instead, but my mother who is elderly preferred a hard copy. In my observation, he had great customer service while handling multiple customers. If there is anyone who I recommend working with at the store, it would be Javier. He knows how to be efficient, timely, considerate and provide quality service. NOTE: Wait times can be very long in the store if visiting during afternoon hours or weekend, that's why I would give 4 stars. Other than that Javier would have gotten 5 stars. read more

HORRIBLE! I literally just came in here for a QUICK bill pay and just a QUICK question and the guy didn't want to help me, he said he was with another customer. Which stepped out of the store for like 20 minutes. He was the. Pretending to fix the accessories and talk instead of just helping me out. Just because it doesn't mean a new line of service or a phone = no commission, doesn't mean you can't help me really quick. I upgraded my phone from iPhone to a Samsung. I was bamboozled into a bundle and was lied directly to by the actual manager saying that I would end up paying more if I didn't get the bundle. After a whole bunch of back and forth, I was also lied to about expandable memory on the samsung. It doesn't have expandable memory and had to get a phone with more memory. I was aslo told with the trade in of my iPhone I would get an $800 credit towards the total cost of the Samsung. Here I am a month later after I turned the phone in, and I am having g to call the store to find out where the $800 is. I was told it should show up within the next 2-3 billing cycles. There is a staff member named Bre in the store who is extremely irresponsible and impolite towards me. She is indifferent to our inability to use the phone normally and expresses indifference and refuses to help. When I asked the store manager for her phone number and wanted to file a complaint, she still said in an extremely impolite manner that she couldn't give me the manager's phone number because he was on vacation. I wasted several days without a phone to use and went to the store multiple times to seek help. This kind of service charged us $60, which really makes me very angry read more

I am very reluctant about coming to a verizon store to do anything. Let alone upgrade or review my account, but today I was above and beyond satisfied. We had previously come to begin our process, but we were hungry and decided to go eat; however Sean was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating that we even forgot about how hungry we were and decided to stay and handle our pending business. After Sean and Andrea explained our options and presented all the new features and devices, we decided to upgrade all our phones and purchase an iPad too. Now we can enjoy our new services, phones and iPad with peace of mind after being very dissatisfied with T-Mobile. Thank you Sean and Andrea. HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time coming here!! Received a quote from OMAR stating our bill would be $191 which included the Home internet as well as 3 phones, 3 watches and 1 iPad. We confirmed the amount a few times because it was such a good deal. We were told to trade in our old phones within 30 days for credit. We returned our items within 1 week. OMAR told us that the first 2 bills will be extra due to taxes and other stuff. 5 months later the bill was at 290! When we returned we had another gentleman tell us that "I don't understand how Omar got that quote because everything that I am doing, it's still not giving me that quote" he was apologetic l. then told the gentleman that there should be a healthcare discount, which the gentleman stated he did not see. We were then told that he was able to bring the bill to 240. We were very upset but continued to keep the Verizon plan. 3 months after, so in total 8 months with Verizon we saw that the bill went up to 272. We then went in store AGAIN, and spoke with Bre. BRE was not helpful at all and had a very bad attitude. She stated "there's nothing I can do, that's just price of the bill, call customer service for that" when I told her that I did call customer service they said I had to come in store, I then asked her why is it that the previous guy was able to help but you aren't. She just shrugged her shoulders. When I asked for a manger she said "he's on vacation with PTO, I can't call him. you have to come back Monday" when I asked for an assistance manager she said that she was the assistant manager. When I asked if Omar will be around she's said "no he works in Whittier, your going to have to go over there to talk to him " 3 minutes later she's goes to the back and is on her phone calling someone and loudly responded back "Okay, I'll just call security". She then comes back with even more of an attitude and states "yea I can't do anything, if you don't want to pay the bill then that's on you" not even one ounce of helpfulness from her. And in a previous review I saw that they also used the excuse of "the manger being on vacation" so it must just be an excuse they are told to use. This Verizon store is horrible and definitely needs some better management or something. The Verizon service sucks as well, I just get random drop calls and service that gets disconnected. He was very patient and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and made the buying experience more comfortable. Extremely shady sales practices!!! Came in to upgrade my iPhone 8plus to an X with their exchange program. Guy who helped me out was asking me to sign things from the pad and telling me there was no way to see the terms to what I was signing. When I called him out on it, he magically had terms and my monthly went way up as he was trying to add all these unnecessary things onto my plan. That didn't stop him from trying to do it 2-3 more times. I was in a hurry so I left and signed everything. Left with my phone not set up and was charged a non-refundable $20 fee b/c the employee "set up my phone". Called Verizon a couple of hours later and I asked them to review my plan. The guy managed to add insurance on the new phone that I purchased without disclosing that information to me. Thinking of canceling my plan completely and going to another carrier just for that experience. read more

The manager Monica attempted to manipulate the pricing of the phone by using promotions in promising me a price but then changing the price during her scam tactic. I was trying to upgrade and she told me that I can get a new phone on a payment plan with auto payments and still keep my monthly payment the same. She told me I can get an iPhone 10 for $710 but then inserted the price at $760 then told me I would be paying $5-10 extra a month which contradicted her first offer. Furthermore she tried to tell me that because I had a tablet promo upgrade as well, that she was only able to do the promised price with that included which I wasn't interested (She failed to disclose this at the beginning of our conversation). However, when I started to hold her accountable to her own words she walked away from me in the middle of the conversation and left me there with her two employees. I couldn't believe she just walked away from me when I was talking to her. This was perhaps the worst customer service treatment that I had ever endured. I contacted BBB, Verizon Wireless, Victra, and I am still not done. To every customer, DO NOT go to this store because you will be manipulated and P.S. To Victra who responded to my post. Don't patronize me and try to act like you care. You only post what you do so you can put up an act to show customers you think you care. read more

I've never had such terrible customer service from a Verizon store before. I came to the store and was helped by a young gentleman. Once I got home I still had problems with my phone I was told to return to the store and was helped by a different worker, a girl. I saw who was helping me before and pointed his direction saying he helped me out before you can tell he completely did not want to deal with the situation at hand saying she'll help you now and turned and sped walked to the back of the store to avoid the situation. Also I did not appreciate the way the way they handled treating the elderly guests. The workers here are young and obviously impatient and are just trying to make a quick buck and get you out of the store as fast as possible. Not to mention I've had problems with this phone they sold me ever since. Please save your time and money and take your business somewhere else. read more

Switched over to Verizon from T-Mobile, wound up getting a defective phone. I had to call customer service to get a new and instead of just sending out a replacement phone they opened up a brand new line of service so now I have two phone lines. When I bought the defective phone I also had purchased a tablet but didn't have time for them to setup so I came back into the store the following day. Long story short I couldn't add on the tablet because I had two devices on my plan and I was over my spending limit. And the 2nd line wouldn't be off my plan until 24/48 hours, so still stuck without my tablet. Thanks to John at the store idk what he did but he was able to get my tablet added. If you happen to go to this store make sure that they are telling you everything and they fulfill all the promises they said. I came here to open an account to lessen my monthly bills from another carrier and to encourage you to sign up, they will promise you rebates that will pay off your new phones and opening an account. I was promised of a rebate of $800.00 by Asst. Mgr. John and when I came in to open the account I am definitely 100% sure that Ivan called him and clarified everything what he promised. I called Verizon today and followed up the rebate and was informed that the rebate was invalid and nobody has notified me at all. I was told by the Verizon HQ Manager that the rebate is only applicable to unlimited plan which I was not told by John or Ivan...to sum it all they cannot do anything but got stuck with bills to pay .. instead of saving money I ended up paying for more. The Verizon HQ has offered me to upgrade to unlimited for additional $25/mth bills to get the $800 rebate which is totally uncalled for. Which will increase again my monthly. I tried to cancel my account and they will charge me $1000.00 plus to close it down. I called John today and he was denying everything and passing the blame to Ivan which both of them has fault in non-disclosure...they should be shut down for non-disclosure and just entice you to get your account . The consumer is getting the burden with their actions and I really don't know if the Verizon HQ will held them accountable on their mistake. This is not to mention the HUM that they sold me that doesn't work on my car and tells me that I cannot return the item...you need to fight and push them to get your money back. I was even told that I can get discount on HuM even though I don't use the HUM at all. That's a lame excuse .. So if you happen to come to this location..make sure you have it in writing and disclose to you what they are hiding .... transferring my account to Verizon became a disaster..more money ..I am paying more compared my other carrier... Victra and Verizon has reached out to me and acknowledge the mistake. Ivan apologized for the mistake but it's hard to say that he is not 100% liable for the mistakes. Management should understand that proper training and guidance should be conducted and Informations for services are properly disseminated. A good training on products and services should always be in place. Management team should always check their staff work especially people who are new. Just because you are the GM/AGM you will not have a quality control. The mistakes of the employee lies on the Management Team..still no apology from John but last time I spoke to him yesterday was blaming everything on his staff... This place let me tell you. Has employees that actually lie to your face and have no shame in doing so and because I'm trustworthy I believe them. Big mistake! I honestly don't know where to start with my latest experience with these horrible people but I'll try for your benefit. I went to upgrade my three phones and after that was squared away I was told that I had 15GB of data a month then unlimited slow speed if I go over. Next I'm told that they have a promotion with my contract and I get a free, absolutely free, hot spot. Okay cool, "are you sure it's free?" I say. "Yes, absolutely free!" Okay well I'll probably never use it but if it's free then fine. Lastly, they ask if I want any screen protectors. "How much are they?" I ask. "I'll hook you up!" So far so good right? I get my bill about a few days later and it explains how I need to pay a $40 activation fee and $10 a month charge for my supposedly free hot spot. Plus my unlimited data after 15 GB is nowhere to be seen. I go down there and speak with their manager, the queen of BS and heart full of shameless lies, Jessica, and after asking what's up with my bill she just pulls out a piece of paper and writes a bunch of scribbles "explaining" how it works. This is obviously part of her deceiving ways but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited for her "updated" correction to my bill which would include a $80 credit and shouldn't take longer than 2 weeks to take affect. Oh by the way, I need to tell you about how they "hooked me up" with the tempered glass screen protectors. They never told me how much they were after I asked them and started to apply the protectors on two of my phones. They charged me 2 for the price of 1 which came out to $50. Went to amazon to see how much they cost and sure enough they were less than $10 each! Plus one of them wasn't even tempered glass but a HD screen protector which is about $6 on amazon. Thanks for the hook up, guys! Okay so now almost a month goes by and no credit on my bill and I keep getting texts and email stating that I should buy more GB because I almost used my entire data plan. Wtf I thought i had unlimited but slower data after 15GB? I need to pay my bill in three days and I refuse to pay for this hot spot! Finally I just call Verizon to get some kind of clarity and verification. I explain this entire ordeal to the CS agent and share with her my frustration. After she calls this pos store and asks what's going on, i wait patiently on the other end to see what she can find out. She gets back on the phone and immediately apologizes for their horribleness. I not only got to keep the hot spot free of charge but got a $100 credit immediately on my bill! Not up to two weeks like told by Jessica. I asked the Verizon agent if there is any notes about my credit from Jessica and she tells me there's absolutely nothing. Okay so that's taken care of but what about my unlimited data after 15 GB? She explains how there's no such offer from Verizon. WTF?!?! My last question for the agent was "How and why would someone lie so deliberately to my face?" "They're salesman and have no shame." She says. You got that right, sister! Please never go here and get all your upgrades online or through Verizon phone operators because these type of places are shady as hell and don't care about you what so ever! Waited a while to leave this review, just to see if they could redeem themselves and they did. Unfortunately, it took 5-6 calls to the store and a call to the customer service center to resolve the issue. Also, when placing the initial order at the store, the new girl took close to an hour to enter my info. After I saw the bill online, I realized she had signed me up for a service I did not ask for. I returned a jet pack and downgraded the plan a day after I signed up, which did cause some issue, but if it's within policy, they should have no problem with crediting the account. The manager, Monica, did end up fixing the plan and resolving the credit issue. It took all month, but on the last day of the cycle, it got updated. That's worthy of another star in my book.
