He drove to my residence. When he finally "fixed" my device, he did it in his car, not exactly reassuring, and unsurprisingly, it still didn't charge afterward. I wasn't able to verify if it was fixed as the transaction happened outside in his vehicle, but I trusted that if I was being charged it meant it was fixed. I texted him informing him it still wasn't holding charge and he offered to take the device for a few days, but by then I no longer felt comfortable handing it over, as if all felt shady. The whole process felt unprofessional from start to finish. And to top it off, I was charged $103 for a repair that clearly wasn't completed. Make sure to pay with a credit card to be able to dispute if services aren't rendered. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle, go somewhere else. If you want to get scammed go here.

Kat at the Montclair location was able to clean the port out in 2 minutes, and all it came down to was just built up lint.
