Dimitri first fixed the screen of waterproof Apple watch, but did not tell me that it was no longer water resistant. The watch got wet and stopped working after a couple of hours. I brought it back and he said he could fix it but he needed to orderparts. Weeks then months went by. Then he said he had the part and would let me know when it was ready. More Weeks and months. After waiting nine months, I asked him to keep the watch and just give me my money back. He became verbally abusive and very rude, and refused. Very aggressive. Horrible. I brought my daughter's ipad mini here to Dmitry for a cracked screen repair. It took longer than promised and was given to me with tape on the screen to hold it together. I've never had a professional repair place give me something with tape on it, that was my first warning. He said to "give it a few days to allow it to dry". Ok. Now my $500 ipad mini randomly shuts off. It appears that he didn't put it back together perfectly and the power button keeps getting engaged. I took it in to him to fix it and his attitude was automatically it wasn't his fault. I told him it was brand new before the screen was cracked and it never happened before, there was no way he wouldn't have noticed this when he was repairing it. He looked at it while he was on the phone and took another call while looking at it. His response was to tell me to calm down or he'd start yelling at me. I was calm and he was way to defensive and antagonistic. I told him I wanted my money back. He refused and said he didn't care if I gave him a negative review. NEVER trust your belongings to this person. He is arrogant and incompetent. read more

Great service here. Had the back glass on my iPhone X crack. Apple wants $550 for that repair. These guys did it a fraction of the cost. When I get home, the wifi and bluetooth weren't working. I brought it back and they immediately repaired it with a smile and apologized (it was just a cable that loosened during the repair). It works great now. They also were quicker than how long they said it might take. When does that happen in 2018? I'm buying insurance for my next phone but if I ever need an electronic fixed, I'm coming back here and sending my friends and family as well. And no one needed to give me anything to post this. I really wanted to like this place because of all the good reviews, the convenient location, and the low cost compared to the Apple Store. Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience. I've received not one, but TWO faulty screens! When I first stopped in the shop, I had a cracked screen but my iPhone 6s Plus worked fine otherwise. The technician fixed it pretty quickly. After he gave it back to me, I realized that my Touch ID no longer worked. I brought this to the technician's attention. He took my phone apart again and tested it. It turned out that the screen was faulty. He told me that they didn't have any more white screens available and offered a black one. I wanted a white one, so he said I could keep the faulty screen in the meantime and wait for him to call when he got more screens. The next day, I got the phone call, walked all the way back and got my phone fixed yet again. Since the second screen installation, the Touch ID works. However, this screen is worse than the first. It works normally sometimes. Other times, it randomly flips between screens while I'm not touching it and clicks buttons on its own. It does this about twice a day and usually I have to turn the phone off to get it to work again. If I'd realized what an awful hassle this whole situation would be, I definitely would not have gone here to get my phone "fixed". $96.90 and two new screens later, it's worse than when I brought it there. FYI, the many 5-star reviews might be due to the technician offering free glass screen protectors for Yelp reviews. I also saw the technician duck down at the desk and smoke an e-cigarette or vape, which I'm pretty sure is illegal indoors. read more

Cheapest place I could find to fix my broken iPhone 6S screen. They even offer a discount voucher ($10 off) on Yelp. I walked in and he told me to give him 10 minutes. So I went out to run an errand and came back. In reality, it took more like 30 minutes and I am not sure if that was due to a glitch or a mistake with my repair. But 30 minutes is still pretty fast and it was the best price I could find online using Yelp, Google, and even discount sites like Groupon and LivingSocial. The only way you can do this cheaper is if you order a new screen and do it yourself and there's so many ways that can go wrong. read more

These guys are good if you're looking to save some money. But note that they use refurbished screens that aren't as bright and significantly less vivid than the OEM Apple screens so the colors will look off. That said, they're quick and even replaced the screen for free 2 weeks after as the first one they installed had a small defect. read more

Earlier in the day, I made a visit to the Apple store to replace a dead battery on my iPhone. After a 30 minute wait, the Apple technician diagnosed my iPhone and I was told that I couldn't swap out my battery because of a small crack on my screen. Supposedly even an attempt to swap out the battery would shatter my glass screen. The tech offered to fix both the small crack and battery for a hefty price of $215. Upset and annoyed, I yelped an iPhone repair shop around my work place. Joe's store was conveniently located on the corner of 72nd and Lexington.
