My daughter and I came for a Mommy/Daughter chill day and were met with such kind people and wonderful service! I got a gel-x fill and my daughter did the SNS style dip. I was comfortable with just the red French but they kindly and mildly asked if I would like a design and I hadn't even thought about it. But yes, yes I did lol Just had no idea what I wanted. Told him just do whatever he wants! And boy he sure did! He did the SUPER cute little hearts for Valentines and I could not be HAPPIER! Perfect nail shape, perfect gel-x fill (no wacky bumps or slants, gorgeous apex), and STUNNING design :) No fear going to this place! They are wonderful, truly! Can't wait to go back
I got a builder gel set for my wedding and have gone back to them since for all my nail needs. They charge based on the complexity of the nails you ask for, and the time it takes to complete the work. They always deliver great results. It is a busy, lively, and comfortable place. They know all the trends and have the tools to give you pinterest-perfect nails.
Went in for a very simple eyebrow clean up. My eyebrows grow in completely full, they still look undone. My inner arch corner was taken off on one side, I have no idea why. The end of my eyebrow is missing a whole patch of hair. I felt her grab tweezers and start pulling random hair. Now there is a missing patch of hair in my brows that are naturally full. The service was rushed, and the technique was poor. As a customer who has came back at least 20 times over the past two years to get my brows cleaned up, I will not be returning. Do not put aestheticians who do not care about their clients, or the work that they put out.
The salon itself is really nice...clean, modern, and has a relaxing vibe. The staff were not personable at all but they checked my wife and I in quickly, which I appreciated. My pedi was just okay, but the overall experience just felt a bit rushed. For the price, I expected a little more attention to detail and care. Not a bad visit, but not the best either. Just in town visiting, so if I'm completely honest, we would probably try a different place next time.
Found my new fav nail tech! Verona Nails is absolutely beautiful! Whoever designed and decorated it, omg ! Friendly greeting upon entry, seated immediately and offered a drink off their extensive menu. I chose an Irish coffee and it was amazingly good, top tier quality, and served in the cutest way! My nail tech Stephany did an amazing job on my nails and she chose a design that has me feelin super duper cute!! Got the pedi to match and it was just as perfect. The music was great, beautiful decor, friendly service and gorgeous nails, what more could you ask for! You MUST go and make sure you ask for Stephany!!
This is by far the BEST nail bar I have been to in San Antonio. From the moment I entered the facility until the very moment I left I had exceptional service. I had a manicure and and artwork done on my nails. I had M work on me and he made my nails look exactly like the picture I showed him of what I wanted. I also got a pedicure and Minh was great. She was sweet and did such a wonderful job and I was relaxed after the pedi was done. Aside from the services I received they also offer 1 complimentary drink and the place is clean and beautiful decor. If you need a place for mani, pedi or waxing services this is your spot!
So, I don't really get my nails done but maybe once a year, if that. I never know what to ask for or the difference between each type of service offered. I explained that to the guy up front and showed him a Pic of what I wanted and was able to help. I was told when sitting we'd do a dip nail so I picked a color as close to the one on my pic. Once done he said he thought it was too light, I agreed. So he tried to match with a gel polish. While having my nails done I enjoyed a yummy Vietnamese coffee. Sweet, but tasty. They do have alcoholic beverages as well as cokes. Was offered another drink, I decided to go with just a water. Everything looked good once done and I moved to a chair for my pedicure. I chose lavender mint. It was enjoyable and he checked in to make sure towels weren't too hot and explained we'd do the paraffin wax after polish so it would adhere better, which made sense. I feel like he did take his time and appreciated him looking at the nails and realizing they were gonna be too light. Most techs would have just stopped there and said oh well. I felt good leaving. However, after getting home I realized my thumb nail was shaped a bit crooked and there was some bleeding around one of my cuticles. It's not a huge deal to me, I wouldn't go back to have it fixed or anything but was noticed. Will just make sure to check closer next time.
I've been coming to Verona Nail Bar for over a year, and I've been seeing Erin for my nails for about a year as well. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the quality of service I receive is always consistent. Every staff member is so kind, and you can truly tell they care about their customers and love what they do. Erin is the best! He always pays close attention to detail, takes his time with each set, and is very intentional about making sure everything looks good before he finishes. I've tried several nail bars in San Antonio, and Verona is by far the best!
I've been to quite a few nail salons in the UTSA area, and I keep coming back to Verona. In terms of cleanliness and feel good vibes when I walk in, this place has it. The prices have gone up, yet what hasn't. I appreciate that I can get a complimentary drink, and my go to last night was the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. When I come, I tend to be conservative with my color - traditional French tips. While I know I could do gel or acrylic, I prefer standard nail polish. If your set messes up within the week, you can return and have them fix it - just be sure to have your receipt so they honor their policy. I've tried the Milk & Honey Pedi, yet I prefer the Lavender Mint Pedi. I've never had to wait very long, yet I can tell that the quality of the French Tip lines look better when they are not rushed, so I would recommend arriving about 2-4 hours before closing time.
I was very impressed walking in here simply because it's fancier than other nail places I go to! I had an appointment at 1:00 pm and they sat me right away for my manicure and offered me a beverage! I was shocked to see that they have a full menu of alcoholic beverages and not just your simple margarita. Anyways Maybe 10 minutes later, this gentleman starts on my nails but the experience was unpleasant. Not only was he very quiet, he kept abruptly grabbing my hand saying "Relax relax" every 3 minutes or so. I ended up liking my nails I just wish my nail technician was more considerate and outgoing!
Absolutely love this place! It's always spotless and well-organized. I came in for a mani-pedi, and even though it was busy, the staff constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable while I waited. Mina did my pedicure--quick but never rushed--and even took care of callouses I've had since my high school volleyball days! Leo did my manicure with the same precise, efficient touch. If you want to be truly taken care of, go to Verona.

What a beautiful Nail Salon! The place was clean, and had the most amazing massage chairs I have ever seen. The price was typical I believe I paid $70 for a lavender gel pedicure. My technician Don was polite, worked at a good pace and gave a wonderful calf massage. The drinks were delicious and staff was super friendly especially to my little girl who had to tag along. Although I don't live on this side of town, I will be back when I need a pick me up! Thank you Verona! read more
This is my first time visiting this nail salon and they are truly a luxury nail bar! I love the layout of the salon and they were servicing a lot of customers at the same time. They have the manicures in the middle and the pedicure and other services on the side of the room. They also have a mini bar in the back of the room! They give you 1 free drink for your service! These drinks can be sodas, coffee, alcoholic drinks, or hot chocolate! I think that was my favorite part of the service haha My nail tech Erin was really nice and so talented!!! I haven't got my nails done in years and I wanted to do something special for lunar new years. I gave him a few inspo pics and described what I wanted, I didn't have a strict preference on the design so I let him choose. He gave me something even better than my inspo pics! He was so precise and careful in the design and it was so fascinating watching him work! I got gelx and the cateye polish. I also notice that the staff really work together and help eachother out. It was nice to see everyone so kind to eachother. They were also really kind to me and made sure I was comfortable. Overall, I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE my nails!! My daughter wanted a manicure so I checked online for the price and decided that this place was reasonable. I was in the area so it made sense to me. The service was blah. I noticed the workers got extra giddy when certain customers walked in. The vibe wasn't pleasant. I wanted to leave but my daughter insisted. I won't be back ever again! read more

I got a signature pedicure and it was really good! The woman who chic my pedicure was really nice and kind to my feet. This pedicure was very much worth as it comes with exfoliation and warm towel compress! The vibe of the overall place was great and I'll definitely go back for another pedicure. read more

Beautiful place with a chill vibe. Drinks are served complimentary with service, so I had a pina colada (it was great). The guy who greeted me at the door was super friendly and very professional. My nail tech was Holly, she did a great job. I couldn't give her 5 stars because she kept stopping to text on her phone while she was doing my nails. We'll see how long these last but as of now I would go back. read more

This was my first time getting my nails done at Verona and they did an amazing job and were super welcoming. I always get almond shaped nails and other nail places can never get all of my nails shaped correctly, leaving some of them crooked, but Verona completely NAILED IT. read more

SO SO disappointed with this set, I was in desperate need of nails for an event and paid over $100 for this short simple set- not even 2 days later the gel is already cracking and somehow stained with makeup (that's never happened to me before) . Overall just not worth it, it was a horrible experience and not worth the pay. The nail technician made me bleed due to how hard she filed nails and didn't even offer me a band-aid, I had to ask for one also, I asked her to help me remove my cuticles if I paid additional and she could not do it. I have yet to find a good nail technician in salons in San Antonio no wonder theres always availability. Never going here again. read more

My nails look AI-generated, unreal. I called very short notice asking for 2 manicures, 2 pedicures (for me and my best friend), and they told us as long as we could make it in before 6. Leah did my manicure. I have yet to get my toes done, but just needed to immediately write a review. The color is gorgeous, she shaped them perfectly, the acrylic application was flawless. I'm so happy with my nails. We didn't talk much at all, but that didn't bother me, she was focused. read more
My favorite nail salon in San Antonio! The hosts are so friendly and fun, and all the nail technicians are nice. If you want a design on your nails, tell your host so they can get you one of the best technicians. They offer a full bar for beverages while you are there and the salon is very clean. I love coming here! There can be a bit of a wait sometimes but nothing overboard. The complimentary drinks are one of my favorite things about them and the drinks are actually good. I also love the decor inside, definitely feels fancy. The price are in the mid range but that's because I only ever get pedicures so for people that do more, get your pockets ready.
